golden hour

just yesterday it was raining, thunderstorms and lightning. just yesterday, there hung grey clouds in the sky.

just yesterday, it was dark and gloomy.

just yesterday, it felt so cold, so wintry, and biting.

just yesterday, it felt like the rain would lash down, as it would never stop, that the world would get drenched and soak forever.

just yesterday, the weather felt dejected, downcast, and miserable, like the weather would trap the world under a roof forever.

but wait, it’s different. now, it’s beautiful outside.

the world around me looks alluring, appealing, and delightful.

a sunny day, the rays of sunshine illuminating the world around me. a treat for my eyes, as they witness a beautiful morning, a beautiful afternoon, a beautiful evening, and a beautiful night.

they spectate a lovely baby blue sky adorned with white clouds and an extraordinarily bright star in the morning sky. my eyes divert towards the tremendous energy in the sky and close on impulse, they water as my face is cast light upon. my moment of a golden hour makes my hair, black at my scalp, blend into golden as it flows down my shoulders. i go out, desperate to inhale the fresh air, to intake the atmosphere’s ambience, as my skin burns against the kisses of the sun. the blue unites with purple somewhere far beyond in the sky, and i watch as the sun goes down, leaving its traces of warm colours. even the night is beautiful. the moon erases the sun’s traces, the crescent shining white light upon the world beneath it.

i was wrong. nature proved me wrong. rain would not lash down forever, the planet would not get drenched. the weather would not feel down forever, it would not trap us. it may not be sunshine and rainbows forever, not blue skies. we would not see the sun forever, nor the moon.

we all would have our own gloomy skies, and we all would have our own golden hours.

Rhea 1.) My first impression of them - This is my greatest shame.....when I first watched this show I was interested in another ship and did not pay a lot of attention to the Pierce girlies 😭😭😭 I was like "yay milfs!" and liked her well enough but that was about it. I started stanning her when someone cooler than me had my pfp at the time, so I decided to use a character I didn't think anyone else would have and I was like "how about that little blonde bitch from s2" and I quickly spiraled out of control from there. I went from being the fakest fan to being the realest one... the american dream.

18.) How do you think they were as a kid - I think Logan used to be a very sweet, gentle, and protective boy... He admired his older brother (even though he bullied him a little, in the way older brothers do), and picked up his birdwatching hobby so they could do it together. His baby sister was his whole heart, and he wanted very much to make the hard and cruel world around them good for her. He was protective of his siblings, and a part of him was glad that he was picked out as the weak dog, because that meant they were spared that fate. When Rose died, that little boy did too.

Nan 7.) A quote of theirs that I remember - WELL as her number one fan I know all of her lines, BUT "band-width" and "horse potatoes" are always bopping around in my brain like the DVD logo on the screensaver.

23.) Future headcanon - well I can tell ya her ass is NOT retiring with that $10B! 😂😂😂 In my ideal timeline, PGM picks back up with all the election drama, so she doesn't mind keeping it around awhile, and she hires Gerri as CEO. With encouragement from Frank, she takes Rhea back, and eventually marries her 🥰

30.) The funniest scene they had - she's always hilarious but it's gotta be her pretending she made dinner 😭 followed closely by "what comes after 9" though!

the greenbier ghost

hi guys! this story is about a true event that took place in greenbrier county, in 1897, erasmus, a blacksmith, met zoya, and they fell in love. they got married and soon pregnant but zoya had some health problems so nobody except themselves and the doctor knew about it.

one day, he was busy at work and asked his neighbour's son to check on his wife zoya, who was pregnant.

when the boy went there he saw her dead and ran to his mom and told her what happened.

the boy's mother called the police and erasmus came crying when he heard about it. he was with his wife the whole time and didn’t allow anyone to touch her, and so, postpartum was not done.

one day, after zoya's funeral, zoya’s mother went to the prosecutor’s house where she told him that her daughter was killed and that she prayed to god to speak to her daughter one last time.

soon, her prayers were answered and the spirit of her daughter told her that her husband choked her to death. to check, postmortem was done and it was declared a murder.

solitude

solitude. a word many fear, but eventually grow to adore. a word everyone receives a taste of in their teenage years. she did. the first few sips were offered by those who called themselves her friends.

there was barely a cloud in the sky, and all the stars twinkled. the full moon shone, casting a beautiful glow on all those who ventured out. the soft sounds of the waves crashing and the muffled ripples of the water filled her with a sense of calmness- the kind one can only experience near the ocean.

as she took a few steps forward, the waves washed away her sorrows. drowning her tears in the salty water, she let go.

she was numb, and she knew the water had nothing to do with it. as she returned to the shore, her olive skin glistened with water.

she returned to the fire and sat on one of the logs. a few stared at her, but she was blind to all those around her. she looked straight at the fire. the one good thing she could keep going, she ruined.

maybe curses are real, for it felt so to her. her heart was happy, but her soul crawled. her eyes held a glimmer that never died. not when she set sail to the darkest of oceans, nor when she cried dark clouds of tears. the fire roaring in her soul was reflected in her deep brown eyes. she got up, her legs a little less numb.

her house was a little far, but under a moonlit night and stars in the sky, who needed a roof?

Sonafuwa (A Paolumu who gained the ability to turn human. Sonafuwa is shy and tends to stay in the trees and away from hunters so she won’t get hunted. When she meets someone friendly, she becomes more calm and is happy to make a new friend)

Diana Fotieni (A student at the Academy under the Blue Lions house training to become a knight one day. She is studious and trains hard, seeming always serious but holds a secret soft side to her once one gets to know her better. Has a Pokemon Sword/Shield verse as a trainer.)

Kyana Aeira (A wannabe heroine with the ability to conjure fire. Easily excitable and tends to rush into fights without thinking but wants to help the world and has a big heart. Can be fandomless and fit in other superhero settings. Also has Endeavor’s Daughter AU verse!)

Kalliphae Myressei (A moth woman with the ability to heal others using a powder that emits from her. She is a princess of a far off kingdom. Acts with a noble air and always tries to follow her heart. Has a My Hero Academia verse where she is a assistant teacher/nurse.)

Tia “Usagi” Faye (Bubbly kind of girly girl whose quirk is magnetism. She can make anything she touches become magnetic, even things that aren’t normally something you can stick magnets to like trees. She uses this alongside rollerblading to fight and calls herself Usagi for the jump tricks she can pull off while blading around. A student at UA.)

Nier Automata:

10B (A Battle Unit android who is more emotional than the androids of YorHa usually are. She is playful and a tad flirtatious, calling people darling just for the fun of it. She is also very protective of humans or anyone she deeply cares for to the point where she will kill whoever harmed them.)

Fandomless:

Ourania Thanos (A dragon that can turn into a human. Cocky, egotistical, and loves to show off to others. Loves to fight people just to fight strong opponents and also loves to eat lots of meat and drinks lots of ale. Has a Monster Hunter verse where she is a Jinouga gijinka)

Nikki Irving (An oddball Alchemist of a girl who stumbled upon a cursed Eldritch Being who had been shrunk and turned into a tiny octopus. She decided to keep it as a pet, named it Tickles, and has no idea it is slowly influencing her mind.)

Iyumi Akuma (A bratty, whiny, wannabe queen with high delusions. She can be a major pain, demanding attention or demanding servants but deep down wants a king to serve and be submissive towards. Can change to be better with time.)

Colette Eirina (Princess of Maas Kingdom and a rather air headed one at that. A hopeless romantic who reads tons of romance novels and is very naive but a sweet and kind person willing to help others. Though she mainly needs help herself.)
