so ~interesting thing happened w my ballot
I voted early mail-in. checked to make sure I was registered and that I would be getting it. got it, filled it out, mailed it, over a month ago. got an email confirming they received my ballot p much the next day
so the day before the election I got a call saying my ballot got canceled because of an error. which was...I'm not saying I'm perfect but when it comes to important stuff I triple, even quadruple check it. everything was right
apparently my state passed a law (right after I'd already mailed in my ballot) that they would be more strict with the date on it. a mail-in requires a date and I had it on there but I guess they found a loophole somehow, which I'm guessing is because the date I have on was days before I mailed it. which was fine...previous elections
anyway I went and voted in person. but yeah, I think there's something iffy about them suddenly doubling down on dates without a loud announcement and after they knew people had sent in early mail-ins

Its bazarre to me in America you have to go through a ton of loops to get the ability to vote, meanwhile in New Zealand they just send the information to you and help you sign up and it just gets sent to you, that's proper democracy and not whatever America's doing, not to be gleeful or rude
yeah, i am very proud of the new zealand voting system. we are rated the number one least corrupt country in the world (i think tied this year with two nordic countries), and it shows in the voting. when i voted in the 2020 election, i got my info sent to me, including voting instructions, which included a little card with my info and voting registration number, i was already enrolled online and so didn't have to do anything(i actually did this all the way back in high school, your final year in highschool involves enrolling in the elections, and all kids that turn 18 before the elections vote in the school hall), used the gov website to look for the best candidates and party options, then on the day (the only day the place near me was open, there were other places in my city that were open for like 2 weeks, which ) i walked straight into the local church, where the voting booths closest to me were, handed in my card, filled in the voting ballot, and walked out in under 2 minutes.
never have i known anyone have an issue voting. the elderly and physically disabled/limited mobility are allowed to choose to vote over the phone (which is preferred to mailing in your ballot as the elderly can get confused by that. mailing is mostly for citizens outside of nz).

New York: Muslim immigrant who cried racism after being removed from ballot for not using name she registered with, loses election
It is an all out war for what remains of America. The enemy will do whatever they can to win and destroy the U.S. Americans are asleep at the wheel or too busy tweeting. The back story before the good news.
Board of Elections Kicks Two Muslim Women Off Ballot, Sparks Cries of Racism
Two Muslim women running for elected office were kicked of the ballot by the Board of Elections Thursday — and several of their supporters say the ruling was based on xenophobia.
The BOE removed Mary Jobaida, who aims to unseat Cathy Nolan in Assembly District 37, and Moumita Ahmed, who is vying to be the Democratic district leader in Assembly District 24, citing technical errors.
The board ruled that the name each is running under doesn’t match the names they’ve registered to vote with.
But many say the BOE’s ruling was racist — a move to keep two Bangladeshi women out of office.
“At face value, the decisions against Mary Jobaida and Moumita Ahmed was a xenophobic attempt to keep two women of color from entering the political discourse,” said Council Member Costa Constantinides, a candidate for Queens Borough President.
Tumblr media
Meherunnisa Jobaida - aka “Mary”
The Queens Democratic Socialists called the BOE’s decision “undemocratic.” The group said the board used the cultural differences with the women’s names to get rid of them — which they called “despicable and racist.”
For instance, Jobaida is running under her nickname Mary, but she originally registered with the BOE to vote under her name Meherunnisa.
The South Asian American Voters Association also chimed in on Twitter.
“This is totally xenophobic attempt to keep @disruptionary and @maryforassembly off the ballot. We strongly condemning the action to silence our south Asian community.”
Ahmed herself called the BOE racist in an emotional video posted to her Twitter page.
A big Ramadan mubarak to me from @BOENYC. They rejected my name change because I never sent back a letter I never got from them.
NOTE: The letter was not certified mail. I never got it.
They are taking me off the ballot because my mailman didn’t do his job during #COViD19. pic.twitter.com/B1Yahsjtu7
— Moumita for District Leader  (@disruptionary) April 23, 2020
She said the board was taking away her opportunity to finally bring representation to her community.
Ahmed said some of the BOE comments on the name issue were “discriminatory to a Muslim population and the Bangladeshi community that has already dealing with so much.”
“I’m running in a district where there’s no representation for us and I’m running to support them,” she said.
An attorney, who represents both candidates, has filed a lawsuit to challenge the BOE’s decision in court.
Jobaida said she is ready to continue to fight for representation.
“It’s not easy for a Muslim woman to run for office,” she said on Twitter. “They need to move layers of barriers to even think about it.”
The BOE didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
----------------------------------------
Always the victim. Blame the mailman. Blame the BOE. Blame Islamophobia. Blame xenophobia. And when that fails blame racism. What race is Islam? What race is lying? What race is deception? What race is sharia?
A judge ruled they could use their fake names.
Queens judge orders two South Asian candidates back on ballot, with call for inclusive election law
A Queens Supreme Court judge ruled Monday that two Queens candidates of Bangladeshi descent will appear on the June 23 primary ballot after the Board of Elections initially kicked them off over differences between their legal and professional names. The BOE’s narrow reading of election law had provoked anger among election reform advocates and South Asian community members.
In an order reinstating Assembly candidate Mary Jobaida and Democratic District Leader candidate Moumita Ahmed, Queens Judge Leonard Livote said the diversity of Queens demands an “expansive view” of name customs.
“In a county as diverse as Queens, with many exotic and unfamiliar names, an expansive view must be taken of what is familiar or diminutive,” Livote said, citing case law.
-------------------------------
Good news. She lost anyway. Although she did garnering 32.9% of the vote.
No word yet on the anti-white, socialist Ahmed’s election.

brain was an absolute garbage fire all day yesterday (see Twitter if you care), but then I slept and also I’m taking Monday off because I have a truly ridiculous amount of leave saved and I really need to take more days off. so, goals for my long weekend:
leave voicemails for legislators--tell senators to do their fucking jobs and pass the HEROES Act instead of letting McConnell dick around for a few more weeks to come up with something shittier because he doesn’t like Democrats, and yell at all three about saving the USPS, which is absolutely crucial for Alaska
email local legislators about USPS, evictions, unemployment extension
fill out and mail the absentee ballot I got yesterday
pay credit cards
make an Amazon order, particularly because Hazy’s actually gotten worse about letting us clip her nails and they really need clipping, so I want to see if she’ll tolerate one of those grinder things (arguably I could use the rotary tool I already own, but........no, for several reasons)
finish and mail the last damn thing for the Twitter auction, which involves trying to dry some paint that is apparently still soft under the enamel sealant WHOOPS
possibly finish will??
write back to Etsy buyer with price info
type up anything I’ve written this month to see how bad I’m doing for Camp Nano; typing other notebook would also be good because it includes a fic that in theory is almost done
actually write, also, and really try to finish something
post on some ADHD forum for advice on What If Meds Don’t Work
use the therapy collar and massage things I have, they’re not really gonna help but I can try
play something with @erlkonigstochter
close some goddamn tabs
maybe go back to Burlington to buy a pair of shoes that might work for me, because my current ones are literally falling apart
open a package sent by a friend (I know what’s in it, I just need to put it somewhere)
sign up for a @badthingshappenbingo card if I think it will help me write some quick stuff; otherwise that can wait
more optional:
clean up project stuff
do some non-critical painting on personal projects or new Etsy listings
related: contact a couple people from the Twitter auction to see if they wanted something, now that the others are finally done
add some more finishing touches on Young Loki and post better pictures, or just say fuck it and post pictures regardless
order some more stuff from AliExpress
watch/listen to some SDCC @ Home panels, although that’s mostly useful for painting and painting is no longer my highest priority this weekend, so I should probably just like...check that the videos are going to stay up and listen to them later
patch a big hole on my pants
I seriously feel like there was at least one other not-super-urgent-but-I-could-do-it thing and I don’t know what it was, which is...not ideal...?

Presidential debate
Point one: should we fill in rbg’s seat?
Trump: we will because we can.
Biden: you shouldn’t because it will hurt us.
Then: They talked about the ACA and COVID.
Winner: Trump because he is right. He wins because as standing president he is able to make that nomination and vote on it.
Point two: The ACA is still here. What is the republican plan on changing it?
Trump: No plan, but we got rid of the individual mandate of the ACA.
Biden: It is not going to be socialized medicine unless you are too poor to pay for it.
Then: Biden accuses Trump of always lying.
Winner: Biden because there is still no republican answer to the ACA.
Point 3: dealing with COVID
Who is more qualified to deal with it
Biden: Lot of people died because of Trump’s inaction. Trump Has no plan. Biden will throw as much money at the problem til it is fixed.
Trump: we did what we did and you would have let it get worse by keeping things open. A vaccine is pending in weeks
Then: mod challenged the time frame and Trump defended his proclaimation.
Biden doesn’t trust a Trump solution.
Winner: Trump because who cares when it happens as long as it happens. Biden claims to have a plan, but never said what it was.
Point 4: Masks and social distanceing
Trump: will use as needed but won’t follow it when it works for him.
Biden: follows it
Winner: Biden because he does what was told to be done.
Point 5: economy
Trump: economy is great and then COVID killed it because of state mandates.
Biden: only people making it in his economy is the rich.
Then: football is back baby
Winner: no one.
Point 6: trump’s taxes
Trump: I paid taxes
Biden: he abused the system
Winner: Who fucking cares?
Point 7: everyone else’s taxes and economy
Biden: bring back manufacturing?
Trump: I already have.
Then: bullshit about hunter Trump
Winner: no one.
Point 8: race issues
Biden: Charlotte.
Trump: radical leftists.
Loser: Trump is a racist no matter what so he was destined to come out of this badly.
Point 9: law and order
Trump: blue states are screwed.
Biden: police forces need responsibility checks
Winner: Biden because he at least addressed the
Point 10: riots
Trump: it’s not my people it is your people.
Biden: (did he actually say anything)
Winner: Biden when Trump failed to denounce white supremacy.
Point 11: Why vote for me
Trump: good economy before COVID, rebuilt the military
Biden: Trump is terrible
Losers: all of us, but at least Trump mentioned something he did instead of what Biden said which was a shot about a Trump gaff.
Point 12: climate change
I am going to be god damn honest...
I don’t care about this and it was painful to watch this segment. I think Biden mentioned something about the Paris accord and fixing things for 2035. Meh
Winner: Biden for actually caring about it I guess.
Point 13: voter fraud?
Biden: vote? Trump wants to stop you from voting.
Trump: Democrats are trying to overload absentee ballots to screw with the elections.
What a shitshow
I have had four mail in ballots sent to me... maybe what Trump says is possible. Who the hell knows.
This election is going to be fucked.
For fuck sakes this is going to be garbage.

on thursday I did some math, rewashed my sweater, checked craigslist, showered, took a bath, brushed my teeth, rewashed my fucking sweater again, dealt with arin’s motorcycle, drew kirby, dusted, cleaned ferret corner, cleaned ferret litter box, fed and watered ferrets, did duolingo, gave jackie greenies, and brushed my teeth again.
on friday I slept poorly, fussed, brushed my teeth, spot vacuumed, cleaned vacuum, washed dishes, wiped counters, wiped stove, checked the mail, watered plants, voted, sent scheduled messages, sorted papers, went to kfc, drew kirby, scooped cat litter, gathered trash and recycling, gave jackie greenies, brushed my teeth again, and did duolingo.
on saturday I brushed my teeth, talked to arin, took a nap, wrote grocery list, mailed ballot, checked mail, took out trash and recycling, unloaded car, put away groceries, put away some dishes, refilled prescription, watered plants, gave jackie greenies, brushed my teeth again, and did duolingo.
on sunday I brushed my teeth, put away dishes, washed dishes, sent scheduled messages, checked craigslist, talked to mom, checked in with arin, helped trim ferret nails, drew kirby, messaged patron, assembled meds, brushed my teeth again, watered plants, gave jackie greenies, fed the ferrets, wrangled the cat, and did duolingo.
today I:
slept poorly
did a survey
cleaned out emails
brushed my teeth
calibrated cricut
test cut stickers
scooped cat liter
recalibrated cricut
cut stickers
sprayed stickers
took a bath
trimmed stickers
photographed stickers
called dad
learned chords
rescheduled with sean
drew kirby
did duolingo
watered plants
gave jackie greenies
brushed my teeth again
I’ve still got sufficient base functionality but there’s definitely some kind of obstacle between me and doing stuff, a “lack of motivation” that doesn’t actually boil down to motivation or executive function. which usually means problems are coming, if they’re not already here. Too Bad Some Fucking Moron Broke The Notification For The Message I Sent My Doc About It An Entire Week Ago.

Thriving in an Economic Bubble during Anarchy
5. The Christian Succession – Are the DM Wheels Beginning to Wobble?
Most Americans across our country celebrated Independence Day last weekend. We traveled to Florida for a family event and returned by car on Sunday afternoon. Thinking traffic would be bad we had planned to break the return trip into two legs. But on Sunday traffic was light so we drove all the way through. It was interesting that every time I stopped for gas, when the pump was supposed to print my receipt, all of them were out of paper. America had been on the road.
The Demented Marxists (DM) had a bad week. It was interesting to watch. Here are four questions:
1. The New York City (NYC) Mayor election saw 1 Million voters cast their ballots but the DM’s ended up with more than 1.1M ballots. Oops. The DM’s had to publicly acknowledge that they do not know who won the first round and it will be a few weeks before they can figure it out. Election fraud? Can the DMs get the Republican Senate in Arizona to audit the NYC Mayor election?
2. I have lost count, is the non-infrastructure Infrastructure Deal on or off. Neither Biden knows, but for different reasons. Perhaps Obama has not told them yet. More stimulus into an economy already operating at capacity will simply increase the rate of inflation from high to rampant. Is rampant inflation the DM economic plan?
3. The Momma Bears have the CRT idiots on the run including some of the founders of the CRT movement. As that culture war continues, the DMs have sent in their reserves, the National Education Association (NEA), which voted to (1) resist going back to the classrooms until all students are vaccinated despite the lack of an approval of the vaccines for anyone under the age of 18, and (2) insist on teaching CRT in every public classroom in America. Are we witnessing the end of public education?
4. Remember the Democrats running around yelling about the Republicans’ War on Women? Since Democrats support transgenders winning women’s athletic events and women’s beauty contests – does that qualify as a war on women?
Give our Lord and Savior the credit for the great awakening that is happening as Christians stand firm when Satan is being exposed. Hallelujah. Amen. Here are just a few recent examples:
1. Trump held his second rally, this time in Sarasota, Florida. Another sellout crowd. Biden’s July 4th message received views equal to 25% of the attendees at Trump’s rally. Yet we are supposed to believe that Biden got the most votes in the history of the USA.
2. More governors are sending either police or troops to the USA southern border. My guess is it is a different group of states than sent troops to DC in January – March. Both events highlight failure on the part of the DM’s and displays that states are increasingly acting independent of the Federal government.
3. One of Arizona’s State Senators has called for a national movement to audit all elections in all states. Every nonprofit organization has an annual audit, publicly traded companies get audited, how come it is not standard procedure to audit our elections? Virginia’s Republicans must be hiding under their blankies because they are not discussing an audit.
I highly recommend that you read the book “Unsettled” by Steven E. Koonin. It is the most thorough analysis of Climate Change I have found. Pure FACTS not opinions wrapped in spin. Mr. Koonin is candid in his disdain for the media’s distortion of the facts that have been and are issued on the topic of Climate Change. It is easy to see that the media types are either clueless about science or severely slanted in their view (or both) because they never let the facts stand in the way of making up a good story.
Speaking of Climate Change, watch for rolling electrical brownouts in California and Texas. Is Virginia next to experience a highest cost and lowest reliability electric grid dependent on solar panels and bird slicers called windmills. Perhaps the DM’s think brownouts are a way of fighting their imagined climate change. To me, brownouts mean a lousy government.
Melissa MacKenzie, the Publisher of American Spectator, wrote a personal blog article last week and described her movement away from the “dying social media platforms” to the new ones – Rumble, Signal, Telegram, Speakeasy, Gab, and Parler. She has marked a trend. Join it.
In the economy, here are some critical data points:
1. Two homebuilders have now shared with me that their sales pace has declined each month for the last three months in a row. If you have been reading this blog, you know that in February we forecasted that trend would occur and explained the reason why it is happening – higher mortgage rates.
2. Thanks to the Biden the USA is no longer energy independent but again subject to the whims of OPEC which has raised the price of oil to more than $75 per barrel and headed to $100 a barrel. Get ready for $4 gas. That adds a higher cost of energy into the DMs economic toxic mix. Higher interest rates, higher energy prices, higher inflation, capped off with higher taxes … anyone one of them equals a recession.
3. The report of 850,000 jobs in June reflects the states that stopped paying folks not to work so they found jobs. While that is significant, the real significance is its impact on The Fed. The Fed meets the end of this month and then the end of September. By the end of September, the pressure on the Fed to reduce stimulus will be so high they will at least announce when they will begin to taper their Quantitative Easing (QE), the term for The Fed buying 10-year Treasuries and mortgages to reduce mortgage interest rates to stimulate the real estate market. When The Fed announces that they will begin to taper QE, the 10-year Treasuries and therefore mortgage interest rates will both increase and burst the real estate bubble.
4. Biden fired the CEO of FNMA, the quasi-government mortgage entity. Biden stated that he will appoint someone who will lower the standards for mortgage loans so that more folks can buy homes. If making bad loans on houses sounds familiar, Billy Clinton did the same in 1998 and the result was the financial crisis that created The Great Recession. Why do the DM’s want another financial crisis?
The Fed now owns such a large percentage of the Treasury market that it causes mixed signals in those markets. Do not be fooled. As The Fed tapers QE, interest rates will rise and the economy will slow. The higher interest rates will impact a matrix of forces but the result is simple to forecast - the ripple effects cause a brutal recession.
Counting the one that is coming in 2022, during my career I will have been through seven recessions caused by one of the following – (1) increased energy prices, (2) interest rates being raised to combat inflation, and (3) increased taxes. The recession coming next year will be the result of a combination of all three of those forces in combination with stagflation. Ugly.
177 days into the DM’s Coup, eventually, we will know all the facts. Pray for the patriot attorney in Antrim County, Michigan who called for the Secretary of State to resign or be impeached and the election to be De-Certified. Another county in Michigan has voted to audit its election. Interesting that the Michigan GOP is reported to have issued a statement that no fraud occurred in the election. The data suggest the opposite is correct, so one has to wonder who is owned by whom.
Keep watching the Arizona Audit. The Secretary of State in Georgia decided to investigate the chain of custody of some of the mail in ballots to CYA. As the election audits spread and the terabytes of information from Mr. Dong bubble, you can smell the fear of the DMs.
A great piece of land remains The Best investment long term. Capitalism builds wealth, Marxism/Socialism consumes it in self destruction. Pray for a return to honest and audited elections in the USA. God is in control. Men make plans, but God ALWAYS wins.
“And not only that, but we boast of our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.”
(Romans 5:3-5) New Revised Standard Version, Oxford University Press)
Stay healthy,
Ned

i know penn is going to start counting more votes at 5 but what about the other states. is there an idea when the other states might finish the counting?
(disclaimer) i am not a whole expert
I literally wrote out a whole thing for this and then something refreshed ads;fasdfa
Basically, I have some predictions but we don’t really know until we know. You’ll notice that every time they do press conferences, they refuse to give timelines because they don’t want to be wrong or give unrealistic expectations.
Pennsylvania: Apparently they’re supposed to be dumping a bunch of data within the next half hour or so (as of me writing this), at which point they will be mostly done with regular mail in ballots. What’s left: that county where they sent the wrong ballots, ballots which arrived after 8pm on election day but were stamped 11/3 or earlier (legal by state law, Trump is challenging this), and provisionals. Pennsylvania does not have ballot curing options. When I woke up this morning and got up to speed, I expected to get confirmation on Pennsylvania by late afternoon / evening. We’re past that point now, but I still think we aren’t too far off. It’ll really depend on what and how many results are given in this next dump. MSNBC has apparently said they are waiting to call it until the margin is 35,000, and right now the margin is 17,000 ish. CNN has been talking about how they have a back room somewhere with math nerds who look at what ballots are still out, what the trends are, and numbers. I think we’ll have some answers before I go to sleep tonight, but ‘sleep’ and ‘tonight’ have very loose meanings for me right now lol.
Georgia: This is gonna take ages, and even after it gets ‘called’, it’s going to drag on for probably a few weeks. What’s left: regular mail ballots that had creases or small issues and need to be reviewed manually, cured ballots (deadline was tonight), military / overseas ballots (number unknown), and provisionals. The certification deadlines for counties is 11/13, afterwich they get sent to the SOS who has until 11/20 to certify. If the margin is within .5%, which it might be, candidates have the right to request (and pay for) a recount, after votes have been certified. Trump has already indicated he plans to do this. But that can’t happen until after the SOS certifies numbers, which could be as late as 11/20. Recounts are important and legitimate, but it should be noted that they rarely change the outcome of elections. The recount that flipped the results of Leslie Knope’s 2012 Pawnee, Indiana City Council race was definitely an anomaly, and the margin there was 27 votes, not thousands of votes (that’s a deep cut).
Arizona: Similar to Pennsylvania, I expect to have some sort of confirmation within the next 12 hours or so. I think we’re expecting another upload of data tonight, but not for a few hours because of time zones. They’ve been releasing data only a few times per day. What’s left: the last few regular mail ballots, provisionals, maybe military / overseas. Arizona does not have a ballot curing option. Also, provisional ballots tend to either stay on trend with the rest of the state, or skew a tiny bit left. This is because the people who request or require provisionals tend to include younger people who move a lot, and younger people tend to vote Democrat. We’re also pretty much just waiting on numbers from Maricopa County (Phoenix, 60% of population) and whatever county Tuscon is in, which are both pretty blue. BIden’s margin here has gone down over the last day and a half, but I’m still relatively confident. They finally called the Senate race for Mark Kelly, who won by a healthy margin, so that makes me feel really good.
Nevada: I say this every fiber of my being - FUCK NEVADA. Honestly, fuck Nevada and fuck NVDems for reasons completely unrelated to this election. But anyway. They have been releasing data only once or twice per day. What’s left: a good chunk of regular mail ballots, cured ballots (deadline in a few hours), maybe military / overseas?, and provisionals. The rurals are pretty much all in, and we’re really only getting numbers from Clark, and a little bit from Washoe. Clark County (Las Vegas) has about 72% of the state’s population, and has been very blue for a while, going even more blue. Washoe County (Reno) is the next biggest, but isn’t all that big. They’ve been much more moderate, but going bluer with time. I worked in Nevada as a field organizer in 2018, and we did our jobs really well (flipped a Senate seat, a House seat, every statewide office except 1, and the first ever in the history of the country female majority state legislature). We did our job so that things were set up for the 2020 team to jump in right where we left off. So if something goes wrong here, I’ll be real pissed. Anyway, I think we wont get really finals answers until probably Sunday at the earliest.
