SYNOPSIS! - Excited to start her journey at a new job, Y/N is estatic when she finds an apartment within walking distance for rent in one of the most beautiful up and coming parts of seoul for cheap, what she doesn’t know is there’s a catch. What happens when she moves in and strange things begin to occur? Will she be able to live with it or will she move out before the one month trial is up? and will she ever find out who keeps shoving her coffee cup off the kitchen counter?

Hiii Admin Null wrote a fic based on this picture!!

For every awful night of tears and aches and killing exhaustion, there would be a morning of relief, re-rested bodies, sleepy promises of you’re right beside me, I love you, and look how bright it is. A constant cycle, tire and recover, cry and kiss, moon down and sun rising. Eventually, that wheel would break.

But right now, it felt as though it had, but it wasn’t good. The sky was clouded. Rain trickled down the window in dark vertical lines. What light there was cast those lines over the bed, the bed Serge had back-breakingly hauled by the window, for the view, for the view of Gilbert, for the view of gray.

He’d been working extra hard, trying to keep the life they’d built from flushing down the sewers, into the mud and sludge like the rest of the small fragments. Storms like this made him hold a little tighter to what he could. They reminded him of the fragility of it all, as though he and Gilbert were leaves in a swirling dirty puddle, barely able to cling to each other and ripped apart by the elements.

That wasn’t an issue anymore. Maybe it had been years ago, as recent as last year. But, now, their roof held. The walls were firm. With a different yet similar sentiment, Gilbert was too broken to escape into the gutter (despite how much he craved it).

But his ghost longed to escape, to flee into the wind and dance among the droplets. It wasn’t even the yearning of a caged bird – Serge knew Gilbert, and he knew, all Gilbert wanted to do was die. He wanted to go out only so icicles and hydroplaned wheels and bad men could rough him up, killing him hopefully. He wanted to be a beautiful, dead star, in the gutter with the mud and sticks. Or, okay, maybe Serge was being unfair. Maybe he just wished he had a better hobby and it was boredom driving him mad.

It was hard, okay! Serge will admit that! Gilbert was not an easy person to entertain for long hours of the day, especially not alone. He hated stitching, he was bored by crocheting, he despised reading most of what Serge could find. A life of being taught only extremes nulled him to the polite dignity of a quiet hobby. He needed skin and blood and teeth and probably at the very least alcohol.

The chair wasn’t helping either. It couldn’t be used in the rain, not that it was at all stable yet. Gilbert said something about how light he was, how it wouldn’t matter the stability of the chair because there was no way something as fragile as him could strain it. That made Serge feel so ill he had to duck outside of the room and stare at the opposite wall, until his heart stopped pounding.

It wasn’t right! Why was Gilbert so selfish he’d let himself drag them both down? Did he not see how hard Serge was working, a violent upwards current? Pounding wings straight to heaven, knowing they’d catch light but still flying on fumes. He was trying, damn it all.

Not well enough. No matter what he did, he knew it wasn’t enough. Gilbert wanted him, only him. But his job needed him, too. So did the thousand, million other responsibilities. Not to mention Serge wanted him, he wanted to feel like himself again. A guardian angel was just as much a ghost of itself. It was sickening.

He’d written letters to his old friends – their old friends, but mostly just his. Even in the end, Gilbert wasn’t popular. Gilbert didn’t know this. God save him if he found out Serge was spending precious leisure time elsewhere, writing and lingering on street corners – smoking, too. God, that was an unpleasant habit. He swore the soot smell was just a side effect of his job, and Gilbert, so used to rich spiced cigars and deep drugs, couldn’t trace cigarettes. He’d fumbled. Similar things had happened. It was easier to kiss ash.

Maybe Gilbert knew. Maybe he didn’t care.

Serge wondered if it would be an okay idea to buy him alcohol. He heard it could fix an appetite.

Well, morning has come. The wheel has cranked another turn. Gilbert is sitting up in the bed, and the bars of the cage are reflecting on his pale, wane face. Rain is falling. His eyes are dead. He wants to die on the pouring street. He’s imagining that right now.

He pretends he doesn’t see it, even if Gilbert could really use a hug right now. His muscles barely move. Feigning sleep, Serge buries his face in the pillow, knowing he’s done all and nothing he could have ever done.

athelstan is now walking in park with westley, they having sighted it during their boat ride. st pierre’s cathedral was very beautiful, with colourful lights dancing in the walls.

they are talking about noah’s ark, a story that had interested wes when seeing the delicate page the other boy had open in the cafeteria ; he smelling the interesting parchment texture. he had then carefully set down his tray with brioche bread on the doubled table in which athelstan sat alone, next to his orange juice glass.

one thing they noted with the story was noah creating a window 🪟 of his gallantly guarded ark to ensure the wellbeing of his animals, and sending a raven. yet noah hadn’t been sure if cypress wood was durable to withstand the flood, pausing when gathering wood, and then choosing oak and mahogany. during their reading and chatting to each other, athelstan, even with his conflicted state and criss-crossed scars on his pale papery bone arms which was getting a little stronger when walking out in the natural sun of christ and sol, thought he could hear a low feminine hum through the trees — qui brillaient dans son couer qui se voile.

wes asks the other if he had been on a ship before, noting he did not seem too seasick when out on the boat and helping with moving oars through water. making athelstan recall when he dived into the water to save ragnar’s life in the past, upon seeing him fall in from high up on the cliffside to escape earl haraldson.

he then says that we could be a home and family on the ship, looking concerned at athelstan, the redness around his eyes initially made the other wonder if it was from sleep deprivation. wes had actually touched textured residue from red oak of the trees in the forest he found peace and excitement in exploring, and smoothed it around his eyes. he then continues to say if there was something he could do to help athelstan.

he wasn’t sure how to answer wes at first, hesitancy still threading within him and biting his lip. the burden of his crucifixion was still quite heavy, he feeling the ghost of the rope cutting into his shoulders ( when he had to carry the cross, when found and captured by the wessex soldiers ).

he is still holding his bible with its delicate papery scent, papers which fluttered lightly in the wind yet would not be able to withstand a storm. he says to wes, it’s important to find his own rhythm of peace and quiet as in look for me in the stars ; I’ll find you in the melody.

due to his shaky ground he experienced with his reincarnated state with his past haunting him to the point where he felt like anything and everything seemed to be out to kill him — with lone prayers going unanswered — he needed to converse in person to wes about his conflict as well ; a real contact of soul yet significantly needed factual progression within the discord of his life. remembering seeing wes’ adventures already there in his own photo album would help him also to remember their friendship and who he was.

wes hears him, looking at how sad athelstan is, ( seeing him look sad and hesitant in a photo preview on social messenger ), and noting his whispers of pain during the study of reading his history, and says they could talk in text and video within the beginning of the end ; ( then seeing his expression of sadness dissipate ) when the flowers just start to sprout out from the ground in the tomorrow morning light, placing his tag handle into the open story of noah’s ark.

7. a horror movie you want to recommend to people

kuroneko! it’s a japanese horror movie about a mother & daughter in law who come back as ghosts to take revenge on samurai. the overall concept, costume design, special effects, and performances are superb. i will say that the subtitles are horrible on every streaming website i tried, but i somehow found a good torrent. if anyone wants the link, feel free fo message me
