I've been inspired by several competitions like @aroaceswagcompetition @femmebracket @autismswagsummit @girlbosswar @transcringecompetition @badasstransswag @mad-scientist-showdown and @blorbopoll so get ready for a crocs and gators face off!
Submission and Poll guidelines:
The character has to be or turn into a crocodile or alligator. (So no, Crocodile from One Piece doesn't count even though he's cool)
Fictional character crocs and gators only. A real croc or gator would win hands down and we need a fair competition.
Please do not start Actual Discourse in the notes of any polls. Play fights and light picking is fine but remember these polls are for a fun and silly time and they aren't that serious.
Propaganda is very welcome. Show off your favorite croc or gator to everyone!
Characters that are definitely already included:
Montgomery Gator from Five Nights at Freddy's Security Breach
King K. Rool, Krusha, and General Klump from Donkey Kong
All of the Animal Crossing alligators Narrowing these down to give others a chance
“I will just do as I’m told. As I’ve always done” b!sskk ily
“I will just do as I’m told. As I’ve always done.”
Akutagawa flexed his hands open and closed. Atsushi’s words were said quietly, with true understanding of what they meant, but not with the gravity they should've required. “What if I want you to chose for yourself?” Akutagawa was used to his voice acting without his permission, blunt and obvious in ways that most people hated.
Most people.
Atsushi only gave the idea a bit of thought, and then nodded once he reached his conclusion. “Then I would say that my choice is to give myself to you.” Akutagawa couldn’t help but narrow his eyes at that, but Atsushi didn’t mind. He never minded.
It made Akutagawa sick, to see the ghost of that man in every one of Atsushi’s words. He wanted to excise him, exorcise him like the demon he was, but even if he was a holy man he wasn’t sure how much of Atsushi would be left afterwards.
When Atsushi had dedicated himself to lean on the Man in Black wholly, he grew in such a way that he couldn’t have that man taken away from him without falling. He needed support. And he had decided to lean on Akutagawa.
It was a frustrating responsibility, one that he didn’t want, one that scared him on Atsushi’s behalf. He wanted Atsushi to be a complete person, not a shadow of someone else. But there was so little Akutagawa could do, now. Maybe later. Maybe far in the future, Akutagawa could help Atsushi stand on his own.
But in order to do that, Akutagawa had to become the shaper. Become what the Man in Black was to Atsushi, manipulate him and control him. This time though, to be someone who could stand on his own. He was doing a good thing. He was doing a good thing.
Biting down hard on his lip, Akutagawa nodded. “Okay. You have to do what I say now. Everything. Do you understand?”
The joy on Atsushi’s face was almost angelic. It was almost difficult to remember that he used to be the White Reaper. Almost. “I do. Thank you.”
