Velvette is surrounded by pretty people all the time.
At a certain point in her career she stopped seeing them as people and instead began seeing them as mere positive and negative traits in the eyes of the populace.
Then she met you and was reminded of what true beauty was.
It wasn’t some bullshit about how you were beautiful on the inside.
No, no, no, it was that you were pretty while trying but not for other people. Only yourself.
You had a VoxTube where you posted skin care and beauty tips.
Because you were very knowledgeable on color theory, giving random strangers advice based on a few shitty quality pictures that was actually stuff she would recommend if she gave a shit, Velvette was under the impression that you were smart in general.
When she met you, she was proven wrong.
You knew how to look pretty, sure, and you were good at helping other people look pretty but that’s about where you expertise ended.
You were sincere and gullible and it was a goddamned miracle someone (Valentino) hadn’t swooped you up into a contract yet.
She was actually amused by it.
She’d try to get you to sign a contract only to realize why no one had gotten you to sign one.
Something about superstitions of selling your soul causing stress because of the expectations and what did stress cause? Fucking acne. And what did you want to avoid? Fucking acne.
So instead, she hired you as a freelance makeup artist for her shows.
Slowly she’d begin thoroughly enjoying your presence.
Enough so that she might even request it after work hours.

I share the filth mostly bcs i like it myself.
There are some times i am thinking "oh x idol would be perfect there!" But i don't usually add those things onto them. I save them in my mind so i can use them later!
It is mostly just me sharing filth i want on my blog lol. Some posts might become common sights on my blog so dw ab that haha. I usually queue up and then just vibe w them

Aaaaaah caramel chicken nuggets anon here!!😂 okay so basically when I was a kid we didn’t have a lot of money so we would eat at McDonald’s a lot. For the kids meal back then, you could get chicken nuggets with fries or apple slices and the apples came with a little thing of caramel. Being the dangerously curious kid that I was, I decided to try dipping the chicken nuggets in the caramel and it was legit so good! I haven’t actually tried caramel with non-McD’s nuggets, but maybe someday I will and I can give you my formal review!

I got a fluff dad jack request! reader is also an artist and one day she decides to take Hazel to the studio and record a song with her. The song (Promises by Jhene Aiko) is for Jack, he always worries about his girls whenever he has to leave and is scared of missing out on things or of Hazel feeling like he’s not there enough. When they call him over to the studio to listen to the song he gets all emotional and he starts crying so the girl comfort him 😖🥹

A/N: I’m very sorry this took so long for me to actually get to. I wanted to give it my full attention. I’ve never done one about a song so I’m very sorry if this is not what you had hoped for. I also really love this song.
Being married to the love of your life was anything but boring. Every single day together or apart was an adventure. You both worked in the music industry so making time for one another was either extremely easy or incredibly difficult. You had been together for roughly three years before you got married, neither one of you ever thinking that marriage was in the future for you but changing your mind once you met one another. You were married for a year before you welcomed your daughter. 
Seeing Jack be a parent made you love him in other ways that you didn’t think we’re imaginable. Your love for him grew immensely, you didn’t think that it was possible. Seeing him be so vulnerable and such a caring partner made your love even stronger. Now that your daughter was six years old, it was a lot easier for you both to start touring more and doing a lot more with your music.
Your daughter admired how focused and talented both you and Jack were. She grew up with two musical influences so naturally she gravitated towards music as well. You both allowed her to be as creative as possible, which was nice to see parts of both of you in her personality.
Jack was currently away from home, you knew that he would be home in a few days to visit for a short period of time and you wanted to show him just how much you and Hazel missed him. You had been in the studio working really hard on your next album, and you wanted to incorporate your daughter in one of the songs and it didn’t dawn on you until now what you wanted to do.
“Hazel baby, can you come here?”
Your daughter was sitting a small table you had in the studio for her to color on. She ran over to you excitedly, her personality was very upbeat like her dad. “Yes mommy?”
“ How would you like to make a song with me?”
“With you?“ her eyes got so big that you thought they could pop out of her head. She was very excited which was a good sign.
“ I was thinking, if you wanted to we could put your voice at the beginning of one of mommy songs.” You couldn’t help but grin ear to ear.
“Yes! Yes!” Hazel jumped up and down and you walked with her inside of the booth. You placed her on a high stool near the mic.
You looked over at your engineer and motioned for them to press record, you didn’t really have a set idea but you knew Hazel would be more natural if she wasn’t told she was being recorded yet. 
“What should I sing?” Hazel kicked her legs as they hung off the stool.
“Hmm whatever you want baby bug.”
Hazel mumbled a few different things before she looked at you and giggled “what was that song daddy used to sing when I was a baby?”
“Twinkle twinkle!” You giggled back, you had forgotten that Jack used to sing that to her whenever she was crying because it was the only song he could think of off the top of his head that didn’t have cuss words in it. You both always laughed about that, that’s when you realize that you and Hazel have been missing him a lot lately and that it would be nice to make a song for him. 
Hazel started singing “twinkle twinkle little star how I wonder what you are.”
“Okay sing it Hazel!” Your eyes watered, your little girl was already getting so big and you couldn’t wait to show Jack what you were making, he’d be so proud.
You started to record your parts of the song with her sitting on your lap and she’d sing some parts with you.
You spent the next few days recording and tweaking the song before he came home.
When Jack came home you and Hazel couldn’t wait another moment, you ran up to him and gave him a kiss before begging to go directly to the studio with him.
“What’s the rush? What you cooking up?” He walked into the home studio being drug by his daughters hand. 
“Sit here daddy” Hazel pointed to the engineer chair.p and Jack sat down.
Jack raised an eyebrow at you and you couldn’t help but giggle. “Hazel and I wanted you to hear something we made.”
Jack looked surprised “you AND Hazel?”
You just nodded and pressed play. Hazels part was the first part of the song and the second Jack heard her sing twinkle twinkle his lip started to quiver. “I forgot about that” he mouthed to you and you nodded with a smile. Your part was next:
“I've been coming home late night
I've been sleeping past day light
I'm waking up you're not by my side
Baby that ain't right
I wanna be there with you
I really do be missing you
Everything I do is for you
And I really do adore you
You're getting so big now

Jack closed his eyes and hummed along to your voice. You didn’t know if it was visually real or your imagination but you definitely could tell that there was a lump in his throat he was trying to swallow.

I need for you to know that
Anything should happen, anything should happen
'Cause anything could, if anything should happen

The next part of the song was both you and Hazel singing and you already knew that he was going to absolutely lose it.
You really could say you knew your husband like the back of your hand because the second Hazel‘s voice echoed yours he started to cry.  Hazel looked over at you and you both quickly went over to him and hugged him. “This is so-“ he couldn’t stop crying and you just nodded and gave him a kiss.
Hazel was very in tune with emotions, that was something she got from you both. “Daddy, you don’t have to cry. We can make a song too” she joked and it made Jack laugh. 
“This song is very beautiful” Jack held both of you closer to him.

i have the idea to finish the mean girls trio with Velvette. Velvette x Gretchen reader who is either her favorite model or her best stylist, and one day Velvette is ranting to either the other Vees or whoever and reader happens to hear and is just like "name?" and then within five minutes has enough blackmail to ruin this person's career. from that day on Gretchen reader is no longer just Velvette's favorite model or stylist, but also her go to blackmail supplier

Velvette didn’t complain a lot, contraire to popular belief. She could be a bitch, yes, but she didn’t often complain without a reason.
You were one of the people she complained to when she complained about things she didn’t feel like bringing up to Vox or Valentino because they’d either blow it up too much or tell her to get over it.
Normally, it was stuff she was more than capable of handling.
Things like an incompetent employee or fabric coming in the wrong shade. Also the other Vs but you weren’t going to do much about that.
It was rare that she ranted about someone specific that wasn’t one of the Vs.
Today was an exception as she was angrily cutting up fabric.
It was also uncommon for her to physically do the work of sewing together an outfit, she normally just poofed it into existence and you had to figure out how the hell to make a pattern that could be mass produced.
Still, old habits die hard even after death and she found the process somewhat calming.
You just listened to her complain about this one specific influencer who’d somehow made it into the public eye and was being a fucking nuisance to her specifically.
You’d heard about them before but you heard and knew about most people.
Anyone even slightly relevant made it onto your radar and you filed information away about them via gossip and a tad bit of sleep deprived stalking.
What were you supposed to do when you weren’t working but couldn’t sleep? Take a sedative? That shit induces nightmares.
After work ended you compiled your information about this specific person and sent it in a document that very night to Velvette.
She is absolutely gobsmacked at how much information you had on this person without even really trying.
She gives it anonymously to a popular drama account.
Shit hits the fan for the poor soul.
She starts making a habit of complaining about people who annoy her on mild levels more often and you never fail to disappoint with the information you give her.
She might even thank you for it but revamping your wardrobe or taking you out to dinner or. . . other acts of service.

For my birthday, i usually celebrate by goong out to dinner with my family! Sometimes it is lunch, but its a meal on my birthday that was enjoyable!

I also do really like to have cake or ice cream on my birthday. Been a long while since ive been able to have a home baked one, but thats bcs the oven is non-functional.
