Tsutenkaku is a viewing tower located in Naniwa Ward, Osaka City, Japan, and is one of Osaka's representative landmarks. Built in 1912, the tower is approximately 103 meters high and was the largest observation tower in Asia at the time.
Tsutenkaku is located in the Shinsekai district, and when it was first built in the early Showa period, it was a popular place for citizens to relax, along with entertainment facilities and a Ferris wheel. Since then, it has been destroyed by war and fire several times, but the current Tsutenkaku Tower was rebuilt after the war.
There is an observation deck at the top of the tower, where you can enjoy views of Osaka city and nearby areas. It is especially lit up at night, allowing you to enjoy the night view of Osaka. There are also restaurants and souvenir shops around Tsutenkaku, where you can enjoy Osaka's street food and souvenirs.
