今日は孫の１歳の誕生日である。 　一昨日から一泊で娘夫婦と共に、誕生会をするだけのために静岡県伊東市にあるウェルネスの森という所に行ってきた。ここは、リゾートマンションの一部屋に宿泊できる施設で、作り自体はかなり古いが、メンテナンスが行き届いていてとても清潔感のある良い施設だった。

　孫が出来てからというもの、僕は自分でもわかるくらいに変わった。心境の変化というものがここまであるものかと自分で感心してしまうほどだ。 　自分の子供が生まれたときは、ここまでの心境の変化はなかったと思う。 　そりゃ、子供ができれば、子供は可愛いし、父ちゃん頑張らなくちゃと思うのだが、人格の基本の部分は変わらないというか、自分の根底の部分、奥底に変化がなかった。

　しかし孫は違った。 　かわいい、愛おしいだけではない他の何かがある。 　僕の基盤の部分を変化させる何かがある。 　そして僕は明らかに変わった。 　それが何であるかははっきりと言葉にすることは出来ないが、自分の子供のときとは違い、己の寿命を考えるようになったからなのか、なんとか自分の心にこの子を刻みつけたいと思うのだ。 　そう、唯一の生き甲斐となってしまったのである。

今日は亡兄の誕生日（命日は９月７日）旅立ってから41年、、、、、、時は止まり、いつもそばにいるのは２３歳の兄の姿だ。 兄は、寡黙で思慮深く、書やフルートを嗜む、コンピュータのエンジニアだった。 大のチョコ好きだったので、我が家では、１１月２３日を「チョコの日」として、毎年チョコを仕入れている。今年はサティのオランジェッタを🍫 私も無類のチョコ好きなので、ありがたくいただく予定です😀 Today is my late brother's birthday (the anniversary of his death is September 7th), and it's been 41 years since he left... Time has stopped, and my 23-year-old brother is always by my side. My older brother was a quiet and thoughtful computer engineer who enjoyed writing and playing the flute. He was a big chocolate lover, so our family makes November 23rd "Chocolate Day" and buys chocolate every year. This year, Satie’s Orangetta 🍫 I also love unparalleled chocolate, so I will be grateful for it😀
