A spotless giraffe was recently born at Bright’s Zoo in Limestone, TN and was just announced in the media this morning. They’re starting a public naming contest for her, of course.
I’d love to know what type of mutation causes this lack of of pattern, but I don’t know if we have genetics on that for giraffes the way we do other species. As far as is known, she’s the first spotless giraffe ever documented!
but metroid is also about learning to do trick jumps from random animals who celebrate when you get it right, and about saving them even as the planet shudders under your feet
and metroid is about lowering your gun when you meet the last of a species who's only just hatched, and gently holding out your hand
and metroid is about accidentally calling the name of someone you care about, who you thought you'd lost, and finding out they've been with you the whole time
and about a little scribble of a child with their parents tucked into the corner of a grand mural
and about the gifts left behind by others because they may be gone before they get to meet you, but that won't stop them from helping you
i took a long break btwn working on this one n this was the original idea... i do miss it but i thought the clothes were too unrelated to him :( goodbye leyendecker inspired gale 💔
- comp based on gale's datamined icon/waterdeep's coat of arms
- pose is from persona 3 protag's boss fight in p5r + listen to kimi no kioku if u haven't already ⚰️
- the flowers are roses!! i associate them with gale + his ambition even more after learning he burnt the rose bushes as a child
Worm baby I love how calm and sweet you are but I'm not loving seeing all of your organs and blood vessels through your translucent skin. Please grow big and strong!
my favorite thing that happens in TOS is when they encounter some weird shit and then sulu turns around to us/kirk to make sure we’re all seeing the same thing. anyways my favorite example of this is when they encounter abraham fucking lincoln.
all these mlp horror aus coming out about diseases turning you into like monsters/zombies/ect when there's literally a disease/plant in mlp that slowly turns you into a tree after you get sick. then that tree produces the same flowers that infect ponies. and nobody has used that yet (to my knowledge!)
