🦢 disclaimer: i do not want to promote any eating disorders or other types of destructive behaviours, but i cannot change the fact that i myself am dealing with these problems. i feel extremely alone and distressed, and i’m having a hard time trusting people in my life. i can’t talk to anyone, about any of this, but i still wanted to be able to communicate my feelings and what’s happening with me with people who not only understand, but also don’t actually know me. strangers can often be more trustworthy than a childhood best friend. this is my safe place. somewhere where i can be honest and free and not scared.

🩰 hey! i’m isa, i’m 18, and i love love love movies! i’ve had a bad relationship with food for as long as i can remember, idk what’s it’s like to eat normally, in moderation, without emotions… i binge but i do not purge. and i’m currently restricting my calorie intake at a max of 700 a day (which is more than i used to, but it’s just for now to get back in track). i was hospitalized this november/december but it wasn’t for an eating disorder.

does anyone have any lighthearted/easy going film / tv show / podcast recs? <3 i’m going on a 16 hour road trip (with a break in between thank god) and i feel like it would be a good time to consume media other than my comfort stuff 😭

i had such a lovely day today. i went to the town by myself. took the bus for the first time. pretended i was an alien visiting earth for the first time and took pictures of cute stuff in the stores and sent them to my mom. ate brunch alone in a café. wandered around the bookstore and found the cutest cat bookmarks. spent too much money on boba and sweet treats. and not even once was i afraid or thinking of what others thought of me. for once i felt fine about being perceived. i even asked a stranger a question. who is this person
