(News anchor talking)

Hallie Howell [SNN]: “Breaking News! The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of Queen Rowena in her libel suit against republican newspaper, Focks News!”

Martin Lavelle [Private Secretary]: Your Majesty, it’s the Queen.

King George: What has she done now?

Martin [P.S.]: After the attorney called to say she won, Her Majesty took one of the cars and left the palace without her security. She was last seen driving down The Mall but her whereabouts are currently unknown.

King George: (sigh) Thank you, Martin.

[St Aaron’s Church, Easton]

Queen Rowena: “God? Please! Tell me what to do. The last few weeks have completely broken me. I don't know what to do.”

Father Clement: Your Majesty! What are you doing here?

Queen Rowena: (gasps) Oh! Father Clement. I... I just...

Father Clement: I didn't mean to startle you. Is everything okay, your grace? Are you alone? Where is your security?

Queen Rowena: I’m sorry. I should go. I don't want to cause a scene.

Father Clement: Please, sit with me.

Father Clement: What seems to be troubling you, your grace? What brought you here in the middle of the day, without your security?

Queen Rowena: I needed to clear my head. I just got into a car and started driving. This was the first place I thought to come.

Father Clement: Our doors are always open! Does anyone at the palace know you’re here? This could start a crisis!

Queen Rowena: They won't miss me for an hour. Now that the Supreme Court has ruled in my favor, I'm no longer a liability.

Father Clement: I heard the news. Was this not the outcome you had hoped?

Queen Rowena: It is! I am relieved this entire mess can finally be over.

Father Clement: Well, what seems to be the problem?

Queen Rowena: Me! Well, my image, Father! The entire nation hates me! They all think I had something to do with Gabriel’s suicide and that horrible newspaper only made things worse! I feel like I ruined, what should have been the happiest day of my daughters life and on top of that my husband stopped talking to me. I’m hated by the country and my family!

Father Clement: It sounds like you’re at a crossroads. Your heart and mind are in conflict. First, the nation doesn't hate you. If you believe it to be true, what can you do to change the country’s opinion? Second, you can't be distracted from your mission. You are the Queen consort! And as far as your husband is concerned, do you still love him?

Queen Rowena: With all my heart!

Father Clement: Show him! Fight for your marriage, your grace. Marriage can be challenging for any couple but for you two, I'm sure it has many layers. Stay devoted!

Queen Rowena: I should be going. If I'm gone for too long the palace will sound the alarms!

Father Clement: I’m glad you thought to come here, your grace. I hope I’m not too forward but, I think you should Speak with the Holy Father.

Queen Rowena: I don't know if my schedule will permit me to visit the Vatisim and I’m sure The Pope is far too busy for an audience with me.

Father Clement: I beg to differ! You are the Queen consort! His counsel is very important!

Queen Rowena: Thank you, Father Clement. I will consider it. Goodbye.

Hii! I love your story! Every detail is perfect! I was wondering, where do you get your builds? Like the palaces and estates, I love them so much I want them in my own game! Anyway, love the story so far😍

Thank you so much for this lovely message!!💐✨

The builds are a mix of mostly other peoples builds that I may have tweaked or re decorated and then I've done a few things myself. For example, I've used a shell from @cliffou29 for the Norrington palace exterior and I've decorated a bunch of rooms inside but Margaret's and Robert's apartments I built myself because I wanted more freedom on what they looked like. They have a few great shall palaces that you can then decorate how you like

Other builders I use regularly are - antoinebn (their EA ID but is sims architecture on youtube), evarotky (EA ID), @honeybellabuilds, Saeryal (EA ID) built glamis house, and @ardazek.

I also often just build a single room or corridor for a particular scene - it helps my poor computer run faster lol I have a pretty good one but it struggles sometimes! I built the hotel and banquet hall in Haskos, I do much better interiors than exteriors.

Am looking for Government and Parliament buildings for my sims and their stories. Been looking EVERYWHERE and can't seem to find any. Can you help?

Hi! This was tricky.

The closest options I found to what I think you're looking for:

No CC: Town Hall by alienpurpleblog, Strangerville Town Hall by DevonBumpkin (should be on the gallery), Town Hall by ilya-m-love

Minimal CC: Strangerville Information Centre and Police Precinct 15 by peacemaker-ic, Windenburg City Hall by oakglow

Maximal CC (will probably lag even on a beefy rig): Windenburg City hall & Museum and Del Sol Valley Capitol by ardazek

My general advice for looking for specific CC:

Search every term you can think of. Keep an eye on the results because you might find ideas for more search terms. For this I was searching government, parliament, congress, senate, capital, capitol, information center, information centre, police station, town hall, city hall, sheriff, mayor, neoclassical, and colonial. (The last two because I'm American and that's the architecture styles a lot of our government buildings are in, especially the federal and oldest ones.)

I do this on multiple CC finds blogs, and TSR and MTS if I'm desperate and have lots of time.

For something niche, it helps to find a CC finds blog centered on that niche or the personal CC finds blog of someone who likes that style. For you, I'd try to find historical finds blogs and personal finds blogs of people who do royal sims.

Tumblr has two ways of indexing posts, /search and /tagged. I recommend looking through /tagged whenever possible. Unfortunately they recently took away sitewide /tagged search from the app and overhauled sitewide /search so it catches a lot of posts you don't want. Searching on individual blogs is better, but it's difficult to access /tagged from the app and some posts are straight up not indexed at all so you can't find them with /search.

If you have the time to comb through pages and pages on Tumblr, @maxismatchccworld and @emilyccfinds both have tags for community lots and police stations.

hi!! is there any build in particular you're looking for 😟? there's certain i've done that I've made myself but other times i just get a nice build from the gallery [with cc on] and delete everything and redecorate myself 😟 but some creators I use are mirco-um2, buildsbylewis, honeybellabuilds and ardazek !!!!!!!

Zuriñe tends to Fernando’s ancestors more often than he does; most beloved among them are the predecessors whom she has claimed as her foremothers. Still, as tradition allows, she also visits the time-worn bones of her own blood, having relocated some of them to her new family ossuary decades ago. The original royal mausoleum had once stood high in the hills of Tonalji, carved into massive stones painstakingly transported from Yaas to that very spot. Along with every other monument to the Crown in the province, it was reduced to rubble by desperate, enraged subjects clamoring for retribution.

The Nakawe mausoleum is something of a replica, though it bears Zuriñe’s marks.

On this particular day, Alfonso accompanies her, and she harbors unvoiced suspicions as to why he insisted upon it. She watched with dismay as her children took after their father in various ways—the uniform trait, and the most disdainful, being their indifference to faith. They enter the cool, quiet heart of the mausoleum, and Zurine waits for his motive to reveal itself.

He begins to explain, and she chants in her mind: “this is a sanctified space.”

She relies on that reminder, an improvised mantra, to feign composure.

TRANSCRIPT:

[Z] I am glad you accompanied me today, Alfonso. You should seek their support more often, but I will withhold my lecturing.

[A] There is a pressing matter, Mama, and I need your help. [Z] It must be a catastrophe if you cannot handle it yourself.

[A] It could be. It concerns Rowena. [Z] Of course it does.

[A] She has ... There is a significant money problem, and I intended to settle the debt. However, a hiccup has arisen which will be troublesome.

[A] Her creditor is a racketeer—a violent criminal, really. They share a sordid history of sorts which he has decided he could use as leverage, if he were to make enough noise about it. [Z] Blackmail, you mean. Speak plainly, Alfonso. You know I am no delicate flower, and I have promised to control my temper.

[A] I should have foreseen an escalation. [Z] You should have. You should have also known to avoid entangling us with Rowena Bancroft from the beginning. You should have listened to your mother. When, really, have you ever not?

Lady Danberry: Your Royal Highness.

Prince Rainier: Hi, Aunt Agatha. It’s good to see so many of Sofie’s sorority sisters in attendance.

Lady Danberry: Yes, it is. How are you holding up, my dear nephew?

Prince Rainier: Today is a good day. Thank you for everything!

Lady Danberry: Your cousin, Chase, is so happy to be included in the program. He looks up to you, Rainier.

Prince Rainier: I know everyone here wants me to speak, and I will, but I'll let Chase do the heavy lifting. He was moms only nephew and I think Dad would approve of him taking lead on things today.

Lady Danberry: Your father was so proud of you. Hugo followed you and Kate’s every stop during the Commonwealth Tour! Your mother did too! He’d call me every day and say “Sissy, guess where Rainier is today! Guess who Rainier met today!” I know you’re in pain, dear, but don't let it overtake you. Know how much you were loved.

Prince Rainier: Thank you. Kate and the kids have been such a bright light the last few days.

Lady Danberry: As they should!

Lady Danberry: Your father... my brother, he was my everything. Since losing my husband, Clifton ten years ago, it's been Hugo to bring me joy. That joy is gone. Your mother was warmth in a bottle. Sofie was too! She’d have tea with me twice a week...

Prince Rainier: ...Sofie. I was looking forward to spending time with her the most. We had so much to catch up on.

Lady Danberry: Now may not be the best time to have this discussion, Rainier, but it's the first time I’ve had you alone. You will now inherit your parents entire estate, which includes Atlantica Park. Although it was your mothers property and not your fathers, it’s closer to you and is vacant. With your mother, father and sister gone, I have no-one left in Brindleton Bay.

Prince Rainier: You want to move to Windenburg?

Lady Danberry: I do, nephew. I’m getting old. It’s also time I right a wrong with an old friend.

Prince Rainier: The Queen Mother? You two haven't spoken in 24 years.

Lady Danberry: Walk me to my seat, dear. I think the service is about to begin.

Prince Rainier: My answer is Yes, Aunt Agatha. Mom and Dad would want no-one else but you to live in Atlantica Park.

Chase: “One thing my aunt loved almost as much as her family was the beach. Before my own mother died 9 years ago, the two of them would spend hours on the water. Aunt Ariel had just spent 7 days on the beach in Sulani with her family. I know her final days were happy!”

Chase: “Uncle Lugo, on the other hand, wasn't as much of a beach lover but he’d do anything to make his wife and daughter happy! He’d always say he had three women to please; his wife, his daughter, and his sister Agatha but little Grace was his first granddaughter and she stole the show! His greatest love was probably his only son, Rainier. Watching you grow up to now having a son of your own, surely gave him great joy. My aunt, uncle and cousin believed in family and although they died tragically, they were together as a family. This isn’t Goodbye but a See you on the other side.”

Princess Katherine: It’s not a surprise Lady Danberry would want to move back to Windenburg. You’re all she has left. I never knew she was a member of court when granny first arrived, though.

Prince Rainier: Her and the Queen Mother knew each other a long time ago. When the 20-year-old, Princess, Zarah, was schlepped over from Sulani to marry your grandfather, she didn’t know a soul. Aunt Agatha was at court and became the person who shepherded the Queen Mother, subtly, discreetly around the court when she was a new girl.

Princess Katherine: Granny has never talked of her first years at court, as Duchess of York, or of Lady Danberry. What caused their rift?

Prince Rainier: Aunt Agatha never said.

Princess Katherine: If Lady Danberry is indeed returning to Windenburg, there’s no telling how granny would receive her after all these years and clearly something bad happened...

Prince Rainier: I agree.

Princess Katherine: ...but that’s not our problem. For your benefit, and the kids’, I’m happy Lady Danberry is moving back to Windenburg. I can tell you are happy also. Knowing the two of you will be closer gives your parents even more peace.

Prince Rainier: It’s what my father would want!

The Carrousel triumphal arch, entrance to the Tuileries Palace under Napoléon IV

This construction took me about 3 hours to complete. I propose you below my construction little by little, for those interested! Let me know if you like the concept. I'll be able to show more in the future!

I based myself on the comparative visual, and also on the wonderful arc of @ardazek ! As I build my palace in the future, I will certainly add details to the structure. Also, I wanted to insert more images and txt but Tumblr limits me :c

1 - I prepared the triumphal arch with 3 floors of construction. I tested several columns and arches. To allow access to the middle arch, I simply broke down the walls of the 1st and 2nd floors. As on my Napoleon III era designs, I added a black and gold grid !

2 - I add the marble that comes with the Restaurant pack. Then a partition above (Florence pack from Felixandre). Finally, the passages on all sides of the arch and inside! With the T key, I switch to top view to install the arches inside. Then I simply put a wall on top to fill the holes in the structure.

3 - After adding paintings to give the effect of bas-reliefs, I continued to give relief to the structure. Columns and a Doric base on each right angle, etc. I also added lights on the gold and black grid.

Then, finally, I installed the main sculptures. I created a platform at the top of the triumphal arch to accommodate the bronze quadriga and the four stone Minerva.

Finally, I added (and am still adding) details. As my space is going to support a whole pavilion of my Tuileries palace, I try not to put too many details so that my game doesn't crash. You have to find the right balance. Regularly, I switched to camera mode to test my future screens. :) This allows me to work on all angles of view!

Heyyy thur! Don't worry, you're not a bother at all!

The palace that I currently use is something that I built myself, even the place where BelleMery and Arisa currently lives in are built by yours truly. But there's several places that wasn't built by me and I'd recommend you to go to Ruby Red, Aggressive Kitty, Ardazek, or you can search for the #felixandre or #thejim07 tag in the gallery. Make sure you turn on the custom content option!

Daria has made a list of people she suggested for builts and you can read it here. I think as long as you have most of felixandre's CCs, you're good to go!

hi! i download and build them - if you ask about a lot in particular I will probably be able to point you directly to the creator. I build all of my palace interiors myself but the exteriors are usually downloaded - my favorite palaces/royal houses/lots come from @ardazek, @ladycharlottesims and @regencysims4. Other lots (like streets, etc) are a toss up between my builds or lots I’ve found on the gallery. In terms of furniture, my favorite palace-appropriate stuff comes from @strangestorytellersims, @lilis-palace, @the-regal-sim, and @thejim07!

Ooof how much time do you have? 😅

I mix quite a bit. So I might use the exterior of one build and the interior of another so if you’re looking for something specific just send me a message.

Some of my favourites are RubyRed, LilyPrada, PXL Playground, Cowbuild, ENW, ADM

For palaces and other fancy builds I use a lot of Coldham Creative, Ratty1994 (both of them are so good) and I use the #felixandre and #Jim07 hashtags in the gallery a lot.

ArdaZek is really good too and they give a list of cc to download so you will have an idea of which cc creators are good.

I also use YouTube a lot to find stuff 😊
