For those that don't wanna go to my page for Vengeance!Demise stuff. I'll periodically update this post with new stuff as I think of it (if and when this headache goes away).
Vengeance!Demise is my Demise verse but with the Vengeance Mythic skin. Demise is already "Mirrorwatched" but she swaps places with Gabriel/Reaper specifically. So, that still carries here...but less "was in his place and became what he should've" and more so "was working with Moira to some degree". In other words, she - namely Angela instead of Demise - had a moment - whether during a mission or in her or Moira's research - that made her go "my tech is good - great even - but it's not the best it could be".
HCs:
Demise does take on the mantle of "Vengeance" in this verse. So instead of referring to her as "Demise" I will refer to her as "Vengeance".
Vengeance becomes a powerful member within Talon.
Subject to change when event mode releases:
Ana swaps with Widow (or Moira?)
Tracer takes Reaper's spot (or Widow?)
Sojourn becomes their black ops/spec ops agent (?)
Vengeance swaps with Max or Moira (it's sort of hinted that she leads Talon...like as their leader...so taking DF's spot?)
DF takes Soldier's spot (based on the name of his skin)
Widow takes Ana's (based on the name of her skin)
Sombra takes...Tracer or Rein's spot (? she gets just an epic skin that's 'agent' not 'cadet' or 'lieutenant')
Vengeance has all of Reaps' abilities listed here and her own.
Vengeance's mastery over life and death is very prevalent here.
She will decide who receives her aid. If you fail her, she'll just bring you back to do it all over again (with the hope of you succeeding this time, of course, but either result will amuse her with your pain).
Vengeance will use you to any and every means necessary. You died on the field but can still provide use to her? She'll do so...if only to throw you to the wolves so she can escape or otherwise distract the enemy. Or if you have information within life but were killed...well, she'll just bring you right on back to give her said information. You will. This is not a negotiation, she can and will resort to torture. I mean, she can just heal you right on back to healthy just to repeat the process...how long can one stand agony?
Vengeance is more ruthless/ruder/power-hungry than her normal counterpart (Angela).

Interactions:
The new interactions between Mauga and Mercy (the one where he asks if he can call her 'Angela' specifically) would've gone differently for Vengeance. Instead of saying "For you? Doctor Ziegler." she'd instead say "For you? It'll be your demise." (I had to include this bc I find it cute that he sounds like he's flirting with her.)

#who am i kidding im going to be back for whenever the first irl stream/gn.f birthday/gn.f vlog comes out#im trying so hard to be normal and decisive about having less of a mc.yt presence and the resulting blogging in my life#BUT these demons are strong and ive been addicted to this coping mechanism for years so. uh#we’ll see#even though ive been out and coping with irl stuff my mind still drifts back to here at the end of the day#(literally at the end of the day i keep writing out my thoughts)#yeah im not sure where we’re going with this#dtblr (from what i still follow) is uhhh mostly shattered (i either unfollowed ppl i wasnt close to or they stopped participating)#and hopefully thats a good enough deterrent to keep me offline for most of it#but im so serious i cannot get my mind off the content so like. ill still be here enjoying that#whether or not im publicly blogging about it or not#also another thing: i had a lot of ideas and wips for mc.yt art but like. i dont have the motivation At All to do them#as much as i’m thankful for the impact mc.yt had positively on my art skills#i didnt actually make it that often in my pre-mc.yt life tbh- and thats probably how it will be again#and last thing (thanks if u made it this far lmao)#im mostly going to run this blog on a queue so that’ll be pretty consistent#and the occasional reblogs when im online and the few mc.yt mutuals are around and active fro whatever event is happening#uhm. yeah i think thats it smile#brave.txt

I for one enjoy creating things i feel proud of and dont want to have to go back and work on again 3738393873 years in the future
#i for one dont like regretting creating something lazily when i wanted it to look a certain way with more effort#i for one think trying and challenging yourself and your ability to achieve your goals is good#if me 'going back to fix things' happens like. about 3 years after ive posted it- then that means i wasnt satisfied w it when i posted it#in the first place. i plan to do that w my comic kinda but thats more or less with coloring and after like 2-3 years of not coloring#everything in i think id probably just leave it black and white#but i wouldnt say that its necssarily unfinished. i finished it and maybe ill add on to it.#as far as im concerned. unless i clarify something is a wip everything i post online is finished as it is.#but im not about to post it until i think its actually finished#and not just 'sufficient'#but das just me#idk hard to have an opinion here bc i like all of my art both when i make something w a lot of effort and even when i dont try at all#ig i just dont feel the urge to post the pics i dont feel like *other* people think is good enough to see#like on here i feel like i have to have an *aesthetic*. my art blog has to all flow together#but when i used to be on deviantart i had scraps or other places i could put pics that the more pretentious artists wouldnt like#so even if my ~pretty~ art was what ppl saw first i was still posting everything else. i had it all in one place#but unless i wanna fill my art blog w a bunch of black and white images n shit and totally fuck up the *currated aesthetic* then idk#idk if i want to do that. i want to post about my characters and such but a. no one gives a fuck about anything on here esp not original-#content.#and b. i do kinda like the aesthetic ive made on my art blog. idk. ill do whatever when i feel like it#im very either or in that way yknw#at least i can say theres stuff im really proud of bc i actually tried.

Shingyoku fashion :)
Hi it is me the Shingyoku guy™️ posting of the very specific touhou pc98. Today I finished baking an unsollicited height scale with all my Shingyoku design interpretations :)
Took me a while to arrest them all!! This is quite a wide picture so I made some standalones grouped per pairs, below if youre interested 👇
Felt the need to mention it as some disclaimer: Unless the opposite is mentionned (for one take), all brunettes are men and all redheads are women. (I know this place's userbase seemed less judgy than on other places ive posted before, its just. To not assume some of them are women just because they have long hair 🙄)
1a. Shapeshifter Shingyoku (a kami, my main take). The ones with two tones hair are headcanon additionnal forms (small one being a "weak/rest form" & the dramatic one a "true/complete" form). So these 4 are the same person.
1b. Shingyoku's creators. HC: Shingyoku being a kami born from the fused spirits of 2 shrine officiants. They are humans who reach godhood and lived a long time before HRtP took place.
2. Weird """genderbend""" take. Shingyoku has no canon, but brunette is mostly depicted as a man & redhead as a woman, this take goes the opposite way. I imagine too theyre the gatekeepers in case 1b didnt fuse into the kami Shingyoku. They are youkais (fudakaeshi & oni).
3. A more derivative take. Redhead is a dragon deity from an other planet/realm who arrived on earth (I have a whole worldbuilding WIP). Brunette is human. Both are diviners (redhead refers to Yi Jing, brunette an onmyoji impersonating a priest). They live in some sort of fantasy Heian era. The gates are their final destination tho nothing refering to touhou like names being mentionned (hope I clearly explained it Id like to keep it short)
4. A very derivative take. Both are same species as redhead from 3. My main direction was in general to create a whole species/civilization using Shingyoku's vague concept rather than make something which would fit into touhou lore. So these dont look "touhoulike" at all but are my personal favorite as I went with my own designing style. So they dont live on earth/gensokyo, no touhou terms mentionned, just me wanting more Shingyoku inspired content. It would take me a while to explain what they are, refer to & the worldbuilding of their planet/realm, so Ill dedicate a whole post for them one day. Im just happy a concept as vague/obscure as Shingyoku now inspire me into making my own lore :)

Maybe for some people ALL of these designs will look very derivative and "they dont look like the sprites!!" but
Im an old fashion student with a degree, I love making designs since years
The sprites have very simple designs, maybe for some its not a bad thing, but ive always been more interested in the more ornated designs, I wished to enhance the designs a bit. I love Shingyoku I want them to be extra!
Not just about simplicity but the balance of flow as well. I dont straight up interpret a design from its base material especially for such old sprites. I treat the sprites elements more as a list of "to add" reccurences (to not say "pr*mpts, I hate that word now). I initially dont love Shingyoku for their design, rather the history I have with them, its hard for me to appreciate most fanarts of them. But this is a whole topic regarding touhou pc98 chara design which deserves its own post for an other day.

Do you have a recommendation for a specific book of your work for folks who showed up for your Bg3 stuff?

welcome aboard!!! thank you so much for checking my bg3 stuff out, it's a pleasure to have you
as i said in my other post over here, im predominantly an extreme horror artist! i 100% decline to call myself an eroguro artist because personally i dont find the kind of gore & horror i do particularly erotic, but im super fascinated with the horrors of the body & the darkness of the general human experience, so thats the kind of stuff i tend to make. it isnt the worst most heinous Ever you'll find out there, but im fully aware that it's A Lot, so everything i make with @meanbossart is thoroughly warned for so nobody goes into our body of work unaware & gets a nasty shock.
bg3 in particular goes some pretty dark routes (some bits in a dark urge run even made me kinda reel back and go "jesus"), so id say for people coming in from bg3 your mileage may heavily vary. if torture & really extreme body horror doesnt bother you, you may be OK with SAD SACK (sus.space/sadsack) and its current wip sequel SORTIE (sus.space/sortie), but i would still recommend reading each book's individual content warnings thoroughly before choosing to spend any money. (everything is paywalled to further deter minors.) if you're on the fence about how much horror content is too much for you, or if you're curious about these titles but find the content warnings to be concerning, my DMs on tumblr+twitter and my IMs are always open if you have any questions about particular CWs or even need specific page numbers so you can either skip that bit of gore or be informed enough to approach the page number(s), take a Deep breath, and proceed when youre ready!
for these 2 titles in particular, unfortunately they do have a linear story, so to fully grasp what's going on requires reading the books in order. again if it's something youre curious to the point of wanting to try but on the fence about, i am always welcoming of inquiring DMs to help make the experience thrilling + chilling but Not genuinely upsetting.
if you're OK with a little violence and body horror but not as splatterfest as these titles, im currently chipping away at the preliminaries for my giant project LOVOS4017 (lovos4017.the-comic.org) which is a love letter to TNG scifi and 80s cyberpunk anime. im currently on pause with the roughs since last year due to COVID frontline burnout, but ive by no means abandoned it; this IP is my baby that ive been workshopping the show bible for for over a decade & i want to see it through to the end B)
finally if you would like to read our work but want to avoid gore and extreme violence entirely, we do have some stuff that is violence-free! [email protected] (suscomics.itch.io/pooppix) is a comic with a really bonkers premise but no violence and no visible onscreen poop i promise about finding genuine human connection over unusual shared interests on the internet. ATTACK DOG (suscomics.itch.io/attackdog) is also a short solo comic i did myself about sex, quasi-submission fetish, & the requirements of true love (theres some mild gooey body weirdness but no gore i promise)

Hello! Back here with a new post, which is some OC content. I’ve only posted her on Insta, but this is Rayna Sol and she’s my Ninjago OC :))
Technically, this is her in TLNM, which to me is just like Ninjago (and what im rewriting of it) but high school AU. I’m still trying to figure out how like a lot of the lore would work in my rewrite of TLNM so this is most def a wip. So ig I’ll just talk a bit about her :))
-She’s the EM of Summer, which doesnt mean a lot in the beginning it just means she wears yellow.
-She’s def on the school’s wrestling team. I’m tryna figure out what other sports she would play during other seasons (if u guys have any ideas for sports lemme know)
-In like “Ninjago canon” ig she was very sucky as a teenager, using threats and bribes in order to win her wrestling matches. In this AU, that translates into her starting off as like a stereotypical mean girl, and she def has an attitude so like it can come off that way, but she basically spends her morning trying to save the city she’s tired give her a break let her rest :((
-She mainly hangs out w the rest of her team(my other OCs, Mae, Cedar, and Wren)-they know her identity and like of her double life and vice versa.
-Of the Secret Ninja Force, she’s only really friends with the Earth Ninja-they hang out a lot during missions, but obv they don’t know that they’re Cole and Rayna, so they don’t hang out during school. They’d prob be good friends they just run in different circles :/
-Still trying to figure out how to incorporate Morro into this AU but she’s besties w him too.

Buck’s cock hangs half-hard between his legs, framed gorgeously between his toned thighs. Eddie’s eyes trace the vein that runs down his length, all- Christ, maybe seven- inches of him. His gaze eventually settles back down to the glistened tip, already now slightly wet with precome.
There’s an ache to the back of Eddie’s throat, a want he can’t really explain but so desperately wishes he could satiate. One keen and eager that echoes louder and louder the longer Eddie lets his gaze crawl over every inch of Buck.

i have, unfortunately, moved on from my ff writing era of my life. i’ve seen all your messages of support and reactions to my writing and constantly see the reposts and recs made in my email inbox, and i cherish each and every one of them and do miss yall very often. i am currently now working and traveling full time, and am just past the era in which i used to absolutely love bts/kpop. i’m actually now an avid ao3 dramione reader 😂 and have devoted a lot of my time to getting physically/emotionally healthier, furthering my career, and just pouring love into myself and everyone around me 🤌🏻
DO YOU EVEN LIKE BTS ANYMORE
i still do love/listen to bts, but i’ve also been feeling like i’ve outgrown them a bit and no longer actively read bts fics myself 🥹 but to sometimes come back to my own blog and my homepage to see that other writers are still here and dedicated makes me feel so giddy and happy for them. watching bts grow from their boy in luv era when i first became a fan to the degree they’re at now and even when i stopped actively writing (probably when they started breaking into the US/english lyrics, or covid era) was such a big life landmark for me, and i will always cherish them in my heart for that. i will also always cherish this blog, that kept me actively writing, throughout uni, and actively creating content anonymously, for helping me through some hard times emotionally, physically, and mentally.
WHATS GONNA HAPPEN WITH UR FICS
i don’t think i’ll be updating any of my wips: any writer out there who feels inclined to continue the stories, i give you full permission (pls don’t plagiarize!) and would hope that you drop a quick msg in my inbox when you post so i can read them (better than tags!) 🥰 would also be happy to share where i intended a lot of my fics to go plot-wise. i also deem it would be a disservice to a lot of you for me to release unfinished drafts, but im happy to share that as well to anyone who wants to pick it up, or just are curious where the plots went (lmk if ur into that?)

this is... for a mysterious fic for now ksjdjd (meaning: i have no idea what im doing)
Eddie can't take his eyes off him, no matter how much he tries.
Buck is wearing a pearl gray suit, which brings out the silvers and blues in his eyes. His hair is, shockingly, gel free (Eddie assumes Maddie had something to do with that) and his curls are on full wing, falling perfectly against his forehead. He looks soft and with a happy content, satisfied smile on his face that Eddie has to resist the urge to kiss.
"This was a good day." Buck sighs as he sits next to Eddie. Seconds ago he has been dancing and laughing with Hen and Karen and his cheeks are flushed, his forehead looks a little sweaty and his shirt looks a little rumbled.
Eddie thinks he might look even better now.
"Yeah." Eddie ducks his head and then looks up at the rest of the party, at their family. "It was."
"Maddie said something to me, when she was getting ready." Buck tilts his head to the side and Eddie turns to look at him.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah." Buck frowns as he watches Bobby and Hen do a silly dance, the corner of his lips twitching slightly in amusement. "She said—"
Buck stops himself and then says nothing for a few seconds. He won't look at Eddie either.
"What did she say?" Eddie asks.
Buck hesitates and licks his lips, turning his face slightly towards Eddie— there's something in his gaze that Eddie can't quite decipher.
"Buck?"
Buck shakes his head and takes Eddie's glass from his hands, drinking what was left in just one go as he tilts his head backwards.
"Nothing, forget it. It was dumb anyway." Buck leaves the now empty glass on the table and then stands up, reaching a hand out for Eddie. "Wanna go dance? You've been sitting here by yourself for too long and it's getting a little sad to watch."
Eddie thinks Buck's trying to be teasing, but the smirk looks a little tense and his eyes are— Not sad, exactly. Maybe a mix of emotions that flash too fast for Eddie to look at them closely.
It worries him and it makes him wonder what the hell the Buckley siblings talked about that put Buck so on edge and acting so weird.
Still, he's been sitting there for most of the party wishing he was brave enough to ask Buck for a dance— he's not sure why he didn't. It doesn't mean anything, it wouldn't be a big deal.
Yet— Eddie couldn't bring himself to do it.
So he can't deny Buck now, not when his entire body is itching with anticipation and want.
"Shut up." He rolls his eyes as he stands up and takes Buck's hands on his. "I was sitting there laughing at you making a fool of yourself." He sends Buck a teasing smile and watches as the blonde's shoulders relax a little. "Now that was hard to watch."
Buck lets out a surprised laugh and turns, walking backwards into the dance floor and looking at Eddie with his eyebrows raised and a lopsided smile. "Oh yeah? You're gonna show me your dance moves, Diaz?"

Books:
White Oleander by Janet Fitch
Told from the POV of Astrid Magnussen, daughter of a manipulative poet who is imprisoned early in the story for the murder of an ex-lover. The story follows Astrid through her various foster homes for the next 6 years as she grows and tries to escape her mother’s grip. This book was written in such a beautiful way, there were so many quotes I underlined. There wasn’t really anything that I could personally relate to but it almost felt like I understood at times. There were moments where it was kind of boring but that’s almost always how it is when a book follows someone’s life. It does have a lot of very heavy content, definitely something that you should check warnings for. The N-slur is used a couple times and while every time it is used it’s clear that it’s not a good thing to call someone (it’s used by a terrible, racist character) it’s obviously still not great for a white women to be writing it. Overall though it was really a fascinating meditation on a very complex mother-daughter relationship. 4/5 stars
Stone Butch Blues by Leslie Feinberg
The novel follows Jess Goldberg, a stone butch lesbian and her life in the U.S. through the 1940s-1970s. I didn’t like this as much as I thought I would but I do still like it quite a bit. I wasn’t a big fan of the writing style and I found that the timeline tended to jump forward months or years without warning. It is very clearly a labour of love however, and it is a very interesting and important read. If you are interested in queer history and like historical fiction you would probably enjoy it. It does have a lot of heavy content but I didn’t find it to be gratuitous, it was real and unfortunately necessary to tell an accurate story, (though of course you should check warnings if needed). 3.75/5 stars

A very interesting short article on the coming together of different histories at the Stonewall riots, with a particular focus on the black and brown people leading the riots being the descendants of people torn away from or pushed out of their home countries with their own ideas of sexuality and sex/gender.

A Potter’s Field by MsAlexWP
Sirius is dealing with the death of James and Lily and meets Remus through the death of an unhoused man they were friends with. This was absolutely beautiful truly just so sweet and lovely despite how sad it sounds.
