I cannot possibly be the only autistic who needs to shower every day because your own body oils and odor are the biggest sensory nightmare.
I struggle transitioning out of the shower/tub to the next thing because I don't like the between stage of being wet but not being in the water, but otherwise I need it every day. I don't wash my hair every day, but if I can't wash my skin I just know I'm greasy and sweaty and smelly and I can literally smell myself all the damn time.
I literally cannot function sometimes if I know I have BO lingering under my boobs or in my crotch. I will panic and stress and be useless until I can clean up.
