Lucy/Nyu - Elfen Lied

How many of us end up watching series outside our age range? Especially watching Gore content series with nudity.

Lucy or Nyu, is a girl with a strange condition, where two horns grow out of her head. And her telekinetic ability makes her use strange arms, with which she defends herself and kills those who attack her.

She is taken care of by two people who find her on the beach naked and injured. But as the story progresses, secrets are discovered that some do not want to remember. And that Lucy is not the only one in her condition.

This anime was my approach to gore, let's just say that my pubescent mind was shocked. And I had never seen so many shishis before haha

Although I am not a fan of anime, I do have some series that I liked at the time. Also, the opening it has is one of the best I've ever heard (my opinion).

Stolas Goetia- Helluva Boss

I already needed to draw birds again, and what better practice than a prince of hell.

Stolas is a very important supporting character in the Helluva Boss series. Although at first he is shown as an evil and very perverted being, we see that he is a more complex character with human problems.

He has a romantic and sensual relationship with the imp, known as Blitz. To whom he lends his grimoire to visit the world of the living and do his work. But lately things have been tense between them.

I really like Stolas's design, as well as that of his daughter and his ex-wife. One of these days I must take the time to draw them at least once.

Searching random images on DA, I started to see that so many of Jack and Sally's children have been created by fans. And I found this curious Oc among the pile of fan arts.

She was only supposed to make a color sketch but I got carried away by the original image and even made a background with few details. Look for book and movie cover references. I feel like I look very pretty!

The character was originally created by one of my sisters, when we came across the Grim Tales from Down Below comic. But time passed and I was thrown away by time. So she gave it to me and after a lot more time, I gave it a new design.

Jackeline Skellington is the Pumpkin King's firstborn. She is a little girl of 7 years old, studious, intelligent and curious about the world around her. But somewhat overprotected by everyone, because they fear that Oogie Boogie will take revenge against Jack by using her.

She spends her playtime with Lock, Shock and Barrel. But these games are always hidden from her parents. She has a little crush on Lock but she is too young to understand that.

I drew her with clothes that Minimandy wears, more than anything because her first designs were with those clothes. Also, in her first story she is the cousin of Grim Jr and Mini.

Huevo Brujo - Huevocartoon 2024 vs 2014

Looking at random images on Facebook, someone appeared selling Eggs cartoon stickers. And there I remembered the movies.

Cartoon eggs were very popular during 2001. They made flash games and various animations with their characters. These can still be found on their YouTube channel, although only videos remain of the games.

The Witch Egg appears in the second film as a villain: A Movie of Eggs and a Chicken. He brings us Toto as a chick and being kidnapped by the witch egg drones. Who needs him for a big spell, but he is interrupted by Toto's friends.

The Witch Egg is a stone egg, therefore it does not feel compassion and is apathetic towards others. Still, he has his very comedic moments in the film and has the charisma to him.

When I went to school I was able to have notebooks of cartoon eggs. And some stickers that they gave me.

Doremi Harukaze - Ojamajo Doremi

How can I forget to get home from school in the afternoon and watch the Etc TV channel to watch anime. At that time there was a boom of many Japanese series in Chile.

Magical DoReMi (as it was known here), revolves around the story of Doremi Harukaze, a girl who believes in witches and who has a bit of bad luck. She meets a witch in an antique store and she makes her her apprentice (mostly because the witch turned into a toad and she needs Doremi to be a witch to return to her old form). Little by little, two of her friends join in, plus her younger sister and another girl of hers.

I still remember that the season I saw was the first and the ending made my heart melt. Years later I discovered that there were other seasons but I didn't have the time to search for them and watch them.

The closest thing I had to things from Doremi were some stickers to dress up dolls, and these had her face with her friends. Although the clothes were nothing witchy or normal, although thanks to piracy anyway.

She had also made some drawings on some sheets of block, I don't remember how but someone had some images and I drew them to have something from the series.

On February 7 of this year, the series will celebrate 25 years since its first episode.

Janet - The Good Place

Last vacation, one of my sisters managed to get me to watch this series. And I got hooked watching all 4 seasons during my free days.

We didn't watch it all at once but we did watch about two or three episodes in one day haha

You can say that Janet is an artificial assistant created to serve or fulfill the things that people want in the "good place" (the good place is heaven).

Little by little you see how Janet takes hold of her own personality, although she herself says that she is not a person and that she does not feel emotions. But her coexistence with humans and you can say her "boss" changes things a lot. Especially because she ends up having a romantic partner.

I still suffer from the last episode, it left a void in my heart. They made me puree. If you get a chance to watch her, do it because she's still on Netflix.

Ickis - Aaahh!!! Real Monsters

This is going back to my super little stage. When we watched this with my sisters without fail. Because cable TV was our other parental unit haha

Ickis is a small monster that looks like a rabbit (but it is not), who along with his friends: Oblina and Krumm, dedicate themselves to scaring humans. They also go to a school that is under a huge garbage dump. Where they show his scare styles.

I always found it curious that the director wore red heels. I think he had a wall or closet full of those shoes but I don't remember well.

Sometimes I remember some episodes, especially the crossover they had with the Rugrats. This is very nostalgic actually.

Onyx Von Trollenberg - Trollz

Returning with troll fever but with a very different generation than now and Homestuck haha

The series Trollz was broadcast on Nickelodeon, back in 2005. The story revolves around 5 troll girls who get into trouble by freeing a dangerous being. Plus they try to fix their magical gems that lose their shine.

Onyx is one of the five members, she being one of the most serious but a good friend. Her gem is shaped like a crescent moon. And you can tell from meters away that she is the gothic girl of the group, that's why I like her design.

The series has only 27 episodes. Which surprises me because figures of these Trolls even came out.

A curious fact about the series is that only female trolls can use magic, men cannot.

Ginger Foutley - As Told by Ginger

Returning to series from the beginning of 2000, I couldn't leave out one that comes to mind from time to time.

Ginger is a 12-year-old girl who shares her daily life with us from her point of view. She has two best friends and a somewhat eccentric little brother.

The series seems like a typical teen series, but many episodes bring a small pinch of reality. Characters who die, parents absent, friendships broken and much more.

It also has its hilarious episodes, so it has a little bit of everything but within the norm.

I would have liked to be in a school like Ginger's, at least with a functional infirmary. Mine had it but no supplies in case of emergency haha

We return again at the beginning of 2000, when many Canadian series came out, then transmitted by other channels. The Super Malvados League turns in the crazy and almost evil adventures of four villains trying to conquer the city. But the defects between them ruin their plans, and almost always doktor Frogg ends badly in them.

Doktor Frogg is the brain of the team, creates many evil inventions. But it is accompanied by a bad luck that surprises that I do not kill him.

Toa Matau - Bionicle

This is going back a little bit in time, when Lego released a line of figures called: Bionicle. And since it couldn't be missed, he released a series of films to tell his story (I still love them).

Matau is one of the six matoran chosen to become a Toa in order to save the heart of Metro Nui.

With charisma, ego and a little bad luck, he is one of the comical and good characters that appear in the story. His biggest motivation is a great Toa hero.

I have a bootleg figure of this character, but in his version from the third movie. In any case, the original figure and this one I drew are very different haha I would like to have an original figure of this boy, but finding him and knowing how to differentiate between an original and a bootleg, I see it as somewhat complicated.

Create this troll to make friends with a friend's Oc in DA. The first drawing of this troll was an edit and mix of 4 trolls, it received a bit heavy comments.

It also appeared on an Ugly Drawings page on Tumblr. Maybe they were just a couple of heavy comments but those things hurt me at the time.

This girl has no name or a developed story. Despite the fact that she is of the Sollux Captor caste, she eats food with a lot of sugar and that she files the horns on the left side of her because they grow strangely.

Sollux Captor - Homestuck

Since I started the draft of this drawing, I haven't stopped reading the Homestuck comic. Sollux is part of the 12 beta trolls that appear at the beginning of the story. He is identified by the Gemini sign and is an expert in computers. At first he is someone serious and apathetic. But after going blind and losing some teeth, he takes a more relaxed attitude. He has telekinetic powers and at the beginning, his eyes are red and blue. I still ship it with Aradia Megido and my Oc his genetic descendant haha
