Anyway Annabeth was white in the books and no amount of bullcrap is going to stop people from drawing her based on her book appearance. Signed, someone who loved Leah's performance and is sick of fandom police.

Let me debunk this for you
Annabeth was NOT actually officially said in the books to be black or white, disney was hired in 2005 to draw characters and decided to make her white. Since then, Rick stated on twitter, instagram and the official Percy Jackson page that although he imagined Annabeth as white whilst writing the lightning thief, she is black now, and therefore, he would prefer you, as the reader, to recognize her as a black woman. If you dont, thats okay! But it is canon now.
I knew posting this would get some bumpy traction however it is NOT actually harmful. I posted a sentence that literates my beliefs in a lighthearted manner since I first read the books and guess what? Alot of people did not visualize that, Thats completely okay!! Although, please do note my original post was supposed to be not serious or argumentative.
But for future reference, Tumblr unspoken curtesy has always been "if you dont agree or dont like it, block the poster", I hope instead of posting something rude next time under a safety net, you strive to block off the opinion.
