So I'm still fighting with uploading gameplay (idk what I'm doing wrong Q_Q) and aside from that I'm sorry I've been absent lately; private and worklife had been quite busy lately, especially since my family tries to sort out several matters atm due to an impending death, which will cause some struggle when it happens.
It's not pretty or nice to talk about, but unfortunately my current situation. And with the new semester coming it won't get easier.

backing up is never a bad idea.
99% of people will be unaffected, and this is NOT a crackdown on having nsfw content on gdrive
"What I think has happened is that drive has made several updates to its spam/abuse filtering and one of the focuses is trying to catch spammers who share explicit things in docs with random emails. Which is good in theory, but has the potential to hit false positives."
his recommendation is to keep NSFW words out of your doc titles and instead of sharing the "open link", share directly with you beta's email addresses.
It is also more likely to flag up explicit images, though that is less likely to be a fic problem.

I thought about writing this post for a long time and decided, fuck it, I'm gonna write this.
All over my dash I see people being disappointed because nobody is leaving comments on ao3 anymore/rebloging things on tumblr.
And the only thing I can think about this is: it's so true.
Two weeks ago I posted the epilog of my 60k words fanfic (I've been writing on it for almost a year and got some positive feedback on it) and I got ZERO comments, or kudos on the epilog.
I can see that people kicked on it, but I have no idea whether they liked it or not. (And I used to get a comment on my story now and then)
Last week I posted the first extra chapter (I planned three of these) and also got no reaction.
No I'm just sitting here, wondering if my writing is just true shit.
This is also the reason I was hesitate to post this. Maybe it's not the people and just that shithole of a story I've been writing.
Things like are just running around my head now and must say that the motivation to even finish those extra chapters is gone.
GUYS, IF YOU LIKE A FANFIC PLEASE LET THE AUTHOR KNOW, IT MEANS SO MUCH TO THEM.
So if you read a good story, not some bullshit like mine, write that comment.

Patch coming March 1st
Big news, we're finally getting a patch on March 1st.
Aside from added motion blur, we'll finally be able to hide mods via the cosmetic menu.
They also added more Na'vi names to animals/plants
And quite a lot of mission related bugs

Alright, here we go with the first bits:
My "oldest" OC is probably Charlotte Brauer, who's probably a self-insert ^^'
She's part of the avatar program. Before that she was an active gymnast, until an accident endet her career. The qualification for avatar operator was actually a last straw, since she didn't expect to pass the tests.
She sees Norm as a very close friend (they were in training together), and generally gets along well with new people. However, she is quite self aware, and tends to overthink reactions from other people.
There is a point in her story in which she undergoes iknimaya. There was a point in which she fell off the cliff with "her" ikran, and it was both the most terrifying and exciting moment of her life.
(her ikran is a golden-brownish base colour with some red)
(will continue on this, but migraine is currently effing me Q_Q)

Concerning Pandoba...
Lil' throw back: back in 2022, when we were close to The Way Of Water release, I made this post.
The idea was to do something within the community here on Tumblr (and to feed the hype >w<)
Anyway, I created a blog and the tag "pandoba" for the event back then, which would have showcased participants contributions.
HOWEVER the blog just ... vanished. I went through my mails/notifications to maybe find an email explaining why it went down (eg flagged as a bot), but there's literally nothing.
I want to apologize to everyone who send/made contributions for it, and was wondering what happened. As much as I'd like to give you an explainaiton to it, I'm not sure there's one.
To be honest, I very much would like to bring Pandoba back. But I'd understand if you're no longer up to it after the first failed so hard.
Anyway, just wanted to let you know about the matter
