Kokichi
I feel like he's much more obsessive than he allows others to see. Like, you guys saw how obsessed he was with the Killing Game? Yeah, when he falls for someone it's about ten times worse.
Kokichi is an extremely clingy yandere, too. He enjoys annoying them, as wicked as that may sound. He adores them, of course, but he finds pure euphoria in the annoyed expression they give him after they become a victim of one of Kokichi's many pranks.
That being said, though, he's probably got the issue of his darling potentially hating him, or just disliking him.
He's annoying, but it's nearly impossible to get rid of Kokichi once he latches onto someone.
Kokichi's love is absolutely smothering, but that being said, they might as well get used to him being around <3

a/n: I've literally been gone for two years but here this is lmao
warnings: yandere content, nothing much else, komaru is a sweetie
Komaru
She's absolutely blown away when she first meets them. They're so cool! Komaru is completely ordinary, so I think it's probably easy for her to be impressed. They could do a Scooby-Doo impression and she'd lose it.
Komaru would probably ask her darling to do impressions of her favorite anime characters because she's a dork like that. A charming thing about her is that she'd watch anything her darling voiced in. No matter what character they played, and if she found out that they voiced one of her faves Komaru would freak out.
Surprisingly enough, though, it doesn't affect Komaru a lot learning that her darling is the Ultimate Voice Actor. They're just a very special person to her in general, and all it does is make her admire them even more. Komaru thinks that they're so cool!
A quick thing I should mention, I think she'd totally brag to Toko and Makoto about her darling. They have to hear Komaru go on and on about her darling constantly anyway, but if they had a talent, it would just make her blabbing about them all that much worse.
She just adores them so much!

pregame! saihara shuichi + pregame! akamatsu kaede
☘︎︎ the both of them have such a weird dynamic with each other, which I should probably explain first. I hc that they were childhood friends but split apart around middle school, but Kaede and Shuichi run into each other every once in a while, and they share a common interest, of course. Danganronpa and their darling. Shuichi is a creep and Kaede is just kind of mean, so being in between the both of them is a certified nightmare. They’re weirdly functional as partners, though. Shuichi keeps Kaede in check and she ends up regulating his off the wall behavior so it really is smooth sailing for the two of them... just not for their darling. They both want their darling to themselves, and they have their bad moments.
☘︎︎ out of both of them, Shuichi is the easiest to deal with. He may be extremely needy, sure, but making him happy is rather easy to accomplish. All his darling has to do is watch Danganronpa with him and give him affection he knows that he doesn’t quite deserve. That’s literally all Shuichi asks for. He generally just likes staying locked up with their darling after Kaede decides to kidnap them - which is inevitable, by the way. I hc her to be extremely possessive - and his favorite thing to do is just to lay in bed with his darling while they watch his demented show for hours on end, or at least until Kaede puts a stop to it. Shuichi is just extremely affectionate once he gets full access to their darling. He isn’t terrible, though.
☘︎︎ kaede is moody, that’s the best way to describe her on a daily basis. She’s too aggressive for her own good and her darling probably thinks that she hates them, she comes off that way towards Shuichi as well, but he just annoys her most of the time. Kaede, frankly, does not want to be in love. She’s hated even the idea of love for an extremely long time so you can imagine her annoyance when she realized she has fallen for their darling. Kaede was even more annoyed when she realized Shuichi of all people also held affectionate feelings for her darling, because like I said, she’s extremely possessive. She’s the mastermind behind the whole relationship and makes most of the big decisions, including kidnapping their darling.

☘︎︎ this is a talent he respects quite a bit because to him it’s kind of like being there to support your peers, if you get what I’m saying? Kiyotaka is a perfectionist, and I feel like he often goes overboard trying to do his best. So, while he has the right idea, he often goes way too far and that’s most likely going to end up being detrimental to his health, whether he realizes it or not. He has a lot of pent up emotions, so I think he’d accidentally end up venting to his darling about things that were happening around him. His darling is kind of like his safe place and he trusts them with just about everything. Actually, the amount of trust Kiyotaka puts in his darling is kind of dangerous, so they shouldn’t break it.

☘︎︎ so, in general I can’t see Ryoma caring very much about his darlings talent, it’s just not something he’s interested in, which makes him very different from Ishimaru in this regard. He’s just... focused on more important things. However, I feel like he tends to bottle up his real emotions, and if his darling catches onto this and tries to seek him out to let him vent, he’d become extremely flustered, and suddenly their talent is something he thinks about quite a bit. Ryoma is just very emotionally disconnected in general, and he isn’t used to anyone caring about how he feels, so having his darling talk him through his emotions - or problems in general - is something he appreciates greatly and he’ll want to pay them back for it.
gokuhara gonta
☘︎︎ much like Hoshi, Gonta doesn’t pay his darlings talent much mind, and it’s not like he bottles up his own emotions, either. Gonta has his own insecurities, though, and I feel like as the SHSL Counselor, his darling would want to help him with whatever he’s going through. Gonta finds this amazing, but he feels that way towards his darling in general, and just thinks that they’re the coolest person on the planet earth. This being said, he gets extremely flustered when his darling tries to help him through his problems, even if he knows it’s just what they’re meant to do. Gonta feels kind of special, and this feeling doesn’t exactly fade even as he sees his darling help others, he admires them, that’s the best way to put it.

☘︎︎ he doesn’t scare easily, though I feel like this should be obvious. Shuichi enjoys horror and watches gore films in a daily basis so he isn’t really phased by much of anything. He’s kind of a creepy guy, mostly not on purpose, so he kind of gets a kick out of his darling being kind of a scaredy cat. He thinks that it’s adorable and probably ends up doting on them every time he sees them get spooked by something. Shuichi’s room is kind of morbid, dark. He’s a goth boy so his darling shouldn’t be too surprised. I’m just saying if they’re afraid of the dark not to go in his room because he only has dark blue lights in there and he’s apparently allergic to normal light. Anyway, he finds it very cute and it probably just makes his infatuation that much worse.

☘︎︎ i’ve mentioned that he kind of bullies his darling and I meant it, he isn’t nice. Rantaro is just overwhelmed with all of his feelings so he ends up taking it out on his poor darling. That’s why they should probably hide the fact that they’re easily frightened from him, because he’s going to use it against them as much as he possibly can. He’ll scare them on purpose and then kick himself afterwards when he’s alone because now he feels bad about it. Rantaro kind of goes back and forth with himself a lot and cannot bring himself to leave his darling alone, but he’d make it up to them afterwards. This is mostly done because he doesn’t like feeling guilty, though. Rantaro uses his darling being frightened easily to goad them into clinging to him, too.

Ok consider this: the WoH find a preteen/teenager alive in the world. At first, they take them in to fucking kill them but then the (pre)teen is super nice and caring to them and eventually becomes their big sibling. Komaeda is still the servant, but now big sib is their go to for help on things.

However, she’s quickly attached to her darling and wants all of their time, and she gets it because of course Monaca always gets her way. It’s just something she sees as she deserves, especially when she thinks about all of the isolation she went through with her family. Monaca believes that she’s fully deserving of her darlings affection, and monopolizes it as much as she can, often pushing the other Warriors aside to get what she wants. It’s selfish, fully so, but again, no ones going against what Monaca says because she’s their leader, even if it isn’t said out loud.

☘︎︎ he’s not very trusting in general and his darling is no exception to this. Nagisa doesn’t trust them in the slightest, and since he’s not used to kindness at all, it just makes him even more suspicious of them in the first place. However, I feel like he’d slowly warm up to them and actually start to yearn for the kindness that they offer to him. It becomes something that he randomly needs throughout the day, and he’ll do this thing where he just waist around for them to give him a hug or a kiss on the forehead. It’s really cute and it’s not like Nagisa really asks for a lot, just a crumb of affection is all he needs to get through the day, that’s all. Nagisa encourages affection towards the other Warriors, too, because he knows how it feels.

☘︎︎ honestly? She just really wants someone to cherish her in a sweet way, and the fact that her darling is so kind towards her just makes her infatuation with them all the more intense. Kotoko will often follow her darling around and openly ask for a hug or for them to carry her around on their shoulders, things like that make her extremely happy and it puts her in a good mood for the rest of the day. She’s very clingy towards her darling and often finds herself following them around when she’s supposed to be doing other things, it might get her in trouble with the other Warriors, but she doesn’t particularly care as long as she can get her daily hug or forehead kiss. She’s kind of needy, but it’s understandable why.

☘︎︎ he kind of pushes his darling away at first because much like Nagisa he doesn’t trust them in the slightest. This quickly crumbles, though, and he becomes just as dependent on them as Kotoko is. Their affection is something he literally cannot go without, and he revels in their kindness because pretty much everyone else treats him like garbage. On the other hand, though, Jataro doesn’t feel like he deserves any of the affection he receives from them and often says this in the most self-deprecative way possible, and becomes surprised when his darling tells him not to talk like that about himself. His darling is a symbol of hope for Jataro, and he cares very deeply for them, often helping them whenever he can.

☘︎︎ he’s the most difficult out of all of them, honestly. Masaru doesn’t trust them in the slightest at first, but he’s not subtle about how he feels, and often tells them how he’s angry that Monaca let them live, things like that. This behavior stops the moment he’s given even the slightest bit of attention. He becomes addicted to any type of affection he can get out of them, and while he’d never admit it out loud, he literally begs his darling to cuddle him at the end of the day. It’s sweet, in a way, and he’s almost as needy as Kotoko is, which is definitely saying something. Masaru is the most dependent out of the Warriors and has moments where he can’t leave his darlings side. They’re all starved for affection.

kuzupeko | kuzuryu fuyuhiko + pekoyama peko
☘︎︎ so, firstly, Fuyuhiko is is complete control of this relationship. He orders Peko to do his dirty work when it comes to his darling, and she has no problem doing it so they make for a pretty dangerous pair. Both Fuyuhiko and Peko can be classified as overly protective yanderes, and have no qualms about forcing their darling to be locked up if it means they’ll be safe. Peko is a bit more closed off than Fuyuhiko is, but she’s incredibly soft once they kidnap their darling and treats them very gently and has no problem watching over them when Fuyuhiko has business to attend to. Peko would be the one to carry out any type of discipline, though. It’s not physically bad or anything, but she hates doing it.
☘︎︎ fuyuhiko is the mastermind of the whole relationship, and frankly brings up wanting to isolate their darling to Peko, because otherwise, she wouldn’t have wanted to do it at all. Fuyuhiko is paranoid, and this makes him kind of difficult to deal with, especially when it comes to the well-being of their darling. Peko understands this and while she doesn’t like the idea of restricting their darlings freedom she does anything Fuyuhiko tells her. Fuyuhiko often finds himself flustered when around their darling and doesn’t quite know how to regulate the things that he’s feeling, and this most likely becomes one of the reasons he decides to tell Peko to kidnap their darling. He’s anxious, and she’s all too aware of this fact.
