Tip for RPGMaker MZ, if please use switches tied to self switches if you are doing an active battle system. You will get a bug where you can use spacebar to get rid of enemies (instead of by fighting) if you use self-switches ONLY.
You want the enemy dying, not make the self switch activatable by Action Button. You want the switch to only activate when your enemy reaches 0 HP, which is why a conditional branch is your friend. It took me about 1-2 hours to figure out what went wrong and a fix
I can post the contents of the event if anyone needs it. I love the ABSZ system, but too many set it up wrong.

As someone who has no choice in having to be up early, this change has absolutely has killed my energy levels.
If I wake up early and sleep early, my parents view it as a problem in life skills. So not only do I have to wake up early, I need to restrict my sleeping times too or else it’s me being “irresponsible”.
After having a day of waking up at 11 AM for the first time in forever, I didn’t even need to drink coffee to keep my energy levels up. That is just how much better my natural circadian rhythm is.
It amazes me how we have it so well documented that lack of good sleep causes so many problems. I’d argue that lack of sleep within someone’s natural clock is just as bad. Forcing someone to wake up daily at 8-9 AM is about as harmful as having someone with little sleep on the job.
I wouldn’t expect an early bird to work a graveyard shift, and yet early birds expect night owls to fucking religiously follow them and then say you have poor life skills and health if you refuse to do so
In the future the way we treat different sleep schedules is going to be thought of as just as weird and barbaric as beating kids for being left-handed. People will read about how we thought certain circadian rhythms were bad and made people take melatonin and use special lights to make their circadian rhythms different, and they will think, "So sad and ignorant...everybody is just afraid of difference."

I’m glad that my music is doing so much better than it was 3 years ago but damn if the journey wasn’t long as shit.
Like the words “RIAA certification” I wasn’t ever thinking about til some stats recently came in about one of my albums (The Mandela Catalogue) earning 50K streams at the beginning of its release (cause some stats are delayed up to a year and longer and I’ve yet to see about a year of stats from them), which is more streams than all my albums put together.
It may be about 5-10 years before they get the numbers they need, and I think I’ll cry if it ever does happen

As someone that owns a variety of different types of guns (single action revolver, double action revolver, lethal air rifle), a PSA: please do not buy a single-action-only revolver for the sake of self defense.
There is a reason why single action gets referred to as a “hair trigger”. If you were to be nervous and accidentally pull it, you’ve either committed homicide or a negligent discharge and it can be used against you in court. Double action is like a 2 stage trigger. You have to pull into single action and then beyond, so you don’t run risk of a discharge cause of nerves.
There is a fear of double action/single action going into single action if it snags on clothes. I’ve noticed this happens mostly with smaller round snubbies. Trying to pull to single action on a .454 Casull Ruger is difficult even when you are intent on doing so.

Learning how to stretch in P.E was a future life lesson ready to be unpacked after graduation. After being in a manual labor focused job (A/V tech) and moving so much heavy shit, if you wanna stick around the longest; stretch… and also don’t do stupid non-OSHA shit

I got a Nikkor Pre-AI 28mm f/2 and this is one of the most underrated lenses so far. I don’t know why a lens with this much focus throw hardly gets any discussion.

So here’s a rare image from this lens. How this lens perceives color is very different compared to modern glass and I love the character it brings

I’ve had this epiphany on something I’ve been thinking about for far too long but didn’t have the words to put it with the nuance it needed.
Does anyone else feel like having a limited social circle is just another extension of ableism? It’s amazing how vast I’ll see other people’s circles, especially when looking at the amazing weddings that my friends have.
There is this weird hostility I’ve noticed tho with people to those that seek friends but struggle. It always becomes a “this is a you problem, work on yourself” where it implies that you haven’t worked at it or worked hard enough. It becomes exhausting after awhile once you deal with too many problems trying to make long lasting friends. There is only so much time and energy we have to friendship, to community. If that cannot be found, it only makes things more and more difficult as time passes with trying to find new friendships and a community to support you. And it is not mentally helpful if you have to continuously seek that out. When you have people that you can rely upon and those same people can rely upon you, those people will most likely have better mental health because of friendship. The more isolated someone becomes, the more likely that outcome continues.
I feel the “you aren’t entitled to friendship” gets used to the point where it stops people seeking out friendships who struggle. Cause a lot of friendships between NT I’ve seen click so easy to the point where they don’t face much social exclusion, where their connection to friends has been one able to be easily curated over various parts in their life without struggle. This idea of entitlement doesn’t usually weigh upon the NT with a lot of friends, however, this statement is almost only placed upon the ND that’s socially excluded. Usually only will a NT struggle to have friends if they were outed for being an abuser with a pattern. But hell, even NTs criminally prosecuted can find community and new friends in prison. We literally have entire documentaries about how even in prison, community and not having day to day being a complete shitshow is preferred, and is better when you have friends. Running through the six with my woes??? Yeah, it is better to run through a field with your friends than if it were about running through that field without any friends and crying. The beat wouldn’t be as fucking fire if the song was about running through the field alone.
I think it’s a bad idea to make the case that people are entitled to certain friendships or a certain number to reach with friends.
ND people should be able to have enough of a support network to where they shouldn’t worry about getting isolated from society for not fitting its convenient box.
This may not be perfectly stated, these are the best words I have at the moment to comment on something I’ve noticed
