Ever since the sequel it made me question how much it affected the canon of Dawn of the Croods. A lot apparently.
They changed it up so that Eep’s first female friend is Dawn.
The whole show is much more limiting then Dawn Of The Croods. The only major human characters are the Croods, Guy and the Bettermans whereas the prequel series had a variety of cave people characters.
The dangers presented are also more limited by deliberate design so that means a more limited story potential.
I don’t know how long this show will last but I do hope it finishes the overall story on a strong note.

I’m literally only two minutes into the first episode of the Croods: Family Tree series and it really decided to double down hard on the gay vibes between Eep and Dawn, huh. Nice.
(I would also like to point out that the second and third image are just flashback 2D style; the show itself is in the same animation style as the movies!)
