these are a few links that you can use to help educate yourself of the genocide currently happening in palestine and links with ways you can personally help yourself! these include brands that support israel and should be boycotted with alternatives!

this is a link to a palestinian man who lives in the us i think but a lot of his posts are helpful in understanding what goes on in gaza and what the israeli and western governments are allowing to happen

doing as little as sharing what’s happening through socials and in gcs or friends and families can make all the difference. these links and supports can be easily found on twitter with basically no effort.

remember, there is no neutrality in genocide and ethnic cleansing.

— 💼 bags. ... n.riki x fmr , friends to ❔, wc 839 , warnings y/n lowkey has abandonment issues , fear of rejection not proofread in which hanging out alone with your best friend makes you nervous ... but why? ( bookshelf ) note my first fic on here yay ^^! this is pretty short, but enjoy nonetheless!

HAVING RIKI AS YOUR BEST FRIEND was both a blessing and a curse. Blessing because, well, he was always there for you when you needed him. If you were struggling with something he was there. If you needed comfort there he was, by your side, giving you reassurance. As much as it is a blessing to have him as your friend, it was also a curse with his playful and teasing banter. The constant "You're so short!" remarks whenever you needed his help getting something from the top shelf. But it doesn't mean you don't tease him back. I mean, you two tease one another daily.

That's your thing with him. It's not that it bothered you much, because that's what friendships are. It's a love-hate relationship.

However his lively personality isn't the only so called "curse." This was on you.

Ever since the second grade, you've always felt a little something for him. Every time he would talk you would feel sick with butterflies swarming your stomach. But you didn't think much of it, you were only six at the time!

As the years progressed however, the more you understood those butterflies. Every single encounter with him ( which is a lot ) had your stomach being taken over by butterflies. Up to now, your stomach has been filled with nervousness and excitement, knowing the fact that you were sitting next to riki on the couch.

Every second counts , I don't wanna watch TV anymore.

You weren't even looking at the TV anymore. He was immersed in the movie like how you were getting lost within his beauty. Seriously, how could someone look so gorgeous and handsome every day? You swore he gets cuter everyday, curse him.

You want to confess. So bad. But you don't even know if he even feels the same. Does he? No, there's no way he would. He's already claimed to have a crush on someone at school. But what if it's you? It's only wishful thinking of course, but what if? You're so caught up in your thoughts that you don't even realize he's facing you.

"Helloo? Earth to Y/n?" Niki says, waving his hand in your face. Then he snaps.

"Huh? Oh. Is the movie finished?" You say, taking notice of how quiet it got. The TV is off and it's just the two of you sitting face to face.

"No but you weren't paying attention to the movie. More so you were taking interest in my handsomeness. I don't blame you though, I am pretty cute." He sends you a wink and smirks at you. So he did notice, is it that obvious? Your feelings you mean.

Can you figure me out?

"Shut up, I was just thinking of um...some stuff."

"There's nothing wrong with admiring me Y/n. Just admit it! I'm cute and handsome!"

"What the fuck? No! Why would I tell you lies?"

"Whatever. What you were doing says otherwise."

You rolled your eyes at him. "I told you I was pondering in my thoughts, not admiring you."

"Ok then, whatever you say. Penny for your thoughts? What's going on in that pretty mind of yours?" He says, his playful tone turned into a soft and gentle one. You could feel yourself getting red. God how much you liked him.

"Um...Well..." What were you supposed to say? That you like him? Your feelings towards him? No, you can't. If you confess it could be the end of your friendship. He would end up leaving. Or you would at least. Too embarrassed to face rejection from your best friend. But what if? You sigh.

He looks at you in worry, or maybe in admiration? Whatever it was you could tell he wanted to know. "C'mon Y/n, you can tell me anything. You know that."

"I don't know Riki...maybe not this thought of mine. It's too much." Tell him. Your heart is telling you to tell him. Your feelings. But your mind is saying no.

Pardon my emotions I should probably keep it all to myself.

"No. Don't do that, you always do that. It's not good for you. What's the worse that could happen anyway?"

Everything. You would lose him. That's what you would like to say. But you can't. You stop yourself from saying anything that could take him away from you.

"It's nothing Riki, really. Thank you for your concern though but we should just...go to bed." You hear him sigh, you could tell he's a bit frustrated. Because, after all these years of being friends, you shut yourself out until you break. He doesn't want to push you into telling him. It's the last thing he would ever want to do.

Riki gets up and starts making his way up to the bedroom, his bedroom. Leaving you alone in the living room. Not really alone though, your thoughts was still there. The lingering feelings and the thought of confessing was there with you.

"Maybe one day I'll tell you how much I really like you."

Walking out the door with your bags
