Placing .lot files?
Hay y'all! Every computer I get I put Sims 3 on it and I find new CC (thank you everyone!) to ad to the old folders.
WHERE DO I PUT .LOT & .LAYER FILES?!
I downloaded Bright Falls and there are two entire folders for it, and i don't wanna download it until I know it won't cause issues. Google has been zero help :(

Here is the first part of the big pack of conversions! I decided to start from hairs. No previews here, sorry. You'll see what you're getting after downloading the file. It's huge (200 mb zipped, 300 mb normally), it cotains 30 hairstyles. Hopefully everyone will find something for themselves :> You'll probably notice some hairs has different textures, that's becasue I was testing some options. I'm going to stick to @sweetdevil-sims textures, because I really like the way they look. Two or three hairs use this texture already. All of them should have working thumbnails... I guess that's it! I hope you will enjoy the first pack and I hope you won't be disappointed! I feel so relieved now :D

Here is the second part of my conversions dump :D This time you're getting a lot of clothes and shoes! Only female clothing, sorry :( But some of the shoes are for guys too! Also, after releasing this pack, I will have finally room for new conversions that will include male clothing ;) No thumbnails and preview pictures were taken in CAS. So if you see some strange shining\black spots\weird texture, it's only in cas, it will be fine in game. Please, don't get discouraged by that!
I'm not able to give you polycount numbers this time, sorry about that! But everything should have reasonable amount. Most of the item are fully recolorable, some have additional presets and some have presets only (not recolorable). Some have pregnancy morph. I'm releasing everything as it is, please, don't inform me about any issues you can possibly find... Some of these are one or two years old and there are few that were converted when I was just learning! But feel free to ask any questions if something is unclear to you. Anyway, I hope you will enjoy ♥
I seperated the downloads into three parts, otherwise the file would be huge :D

RIP, CmarNYC
I’m very sad to report that Sims 3 and 4 creator CmarNYC passed away in October 2023. For 15 years, Simmers benefited from Cmar’s long-honed computing skills as she created much-loved modders’ and players’ tools, including the Sims 3 and 4 MorphMakers and Skininators, the TS4 SimRipper, the Sims 3 XCAS core mod, and many CAS sliders. She was also a contributor to S4PE, which likely was used by creators you rely on. Without Cmar’s work, the Sims franchise would have had a much less rich array of mods and custom content. She will be greatly missed.
As well as Sims, Cmar loved cats, and donations are suggested to the ASPCA, the TinyKittens Society, or an animal-related charity near you.

Rosewood Park - BETA
Rosewood Park was founded in 1879, in the Victorian era, as a getaway for the rich when the city pollution robbed their lungs of air. Grand Victorians constructed and lavish parties were hosted. During the first world war, it was a haven for those trying to escape the endless drone of the alarms and the destruction. With some distance from the mainland, it was barely attacked and houses an eclectic mix of people all with the same goal, of finding security. During the second world war, its hidden location but proximity to the mainland turned it into a hotspot for weapons factories. The docks were expanded to allow boats to transport the wares and neighborhoods were quickly established to house the factory workers. Only few of the old Victorians are still standing today, integrated into the varying communities that surround the docks. Since the last war, Rosewood Park has become calm, the bustling population long gone, left with a few settled families and a slow, peaceful life. Although in need of some repair, this town hosts everything needed to live surrounded by the beautiful Rosewood Mountains and a quiet lull.
WORLD DETAILS:
Small map
Around 60 residential lots with no interiors but finished exteriors
Around 20 community lots with most rabbit holes
A lot of CC (all included)
This world has its own lighting mod, so please remove any lighting mod you use or download the lighting mod if you want it for other worlds, its a realistic one!
Theoretically needs most EPs, however most of the necessary EP CC can be cloned and made BG compatible and much of it has already been done and is included in the Rockwood Island download here.
KNOWN ISSUES:
Please read the README: As this world is a Beta and I made it mainly for me, so if you have issues please tell me but I am not planning on fixing small things unless they really mess up. I am not really active anymore and this is just being uploaded because people asked :)

Rockwood Island - BETA
When life gets too loud in Rosewood, Rockwood is place to go! Only a few miles off the coast, this tiny Park addon sprouted a cozy community of individuals who like to live life a little slower. Built up by a few members of Rosewood, Rockwood mimics its big sister, just in a bite sized way!
This world is an EDIT of Hylewood by the amazing @nilxis, credit for terrain and plant placement goes to them!

WORLD DETAILS:
Tiny Map
around 20 tiny houses, most do have at least 2 bedrooms!
Town hall, festival ground, cafe, bar, playground, community pool, park, basketball field, school, football field, grocery store, beach community lots included.
Fully built up but no interiors to houses.
BG Compatible: EP CC is included if you are missing an EP but some objects may still be replaced by statues (very few).
CC is included but its quite a bit!
This world has its own lighting mod, so please remove any lighting mod you use or download the lighting mod if you want it for other worlds, its a realistic one!
KNOWN ISSUES:
The cafe has a glitch where sims like to use the water taxi to exit it, a library file of a fixed Cafe has been included, please replace the lot in game!
This is a BETA so there will still be some routing issues!
Issues with basketball and football field where the yellow boulders may need to be deleted as sometimes they prevents sims exiting the lot!
The industrial Strength Doors by Cyclonesue and the Scania doors may mess up. You will just need to replace them for your sims to access the lot.
As this world is a Beta and I made it mainly for me, so if you have issues please tell me but I am not planning on fixing small things unless they really mess up. I am not really active anymore and this is just being uploaded because people asked :)

Because I want to try Sims Medieval....
CC content for The Sims Medieval
When I started playing the Sims Medieval game, I was having trouble finding cc content. I’ll post a list of what I use, maybe it can help someone.
Everything that I have listed here can be used simultaneously.
Important visual mods for a more beautiful and realistic world:
Lighting mod by Nilxis + Lighting tweaks by Gelina - My favorite lighting mod, which gives the brightest and most beautiful colors and dynamic shadows that add realism. I use them together, Gelina has instructions on how to do this.
Milky Way by Nilxis - You can use any default of stars, this is the most unusual and bright.
Realistic Clouds by Nilxis - Very beautiful and realistic clouds.
Moon-Moon by Potato-Ballad-sims - At the moment I use this default, it is bright and well combined with lighting mod.
Camera by Shimrod - A much more mobile and convenient camera, much better than the one originally available in the game.
Tower/Clinic Shell No Holes in the Wall by Shimrod101 + Tower/Clinic Shell Replacement Walls/Roofs by Shimrod101 - Down with this ruin! Normal walls of the clinic and the magician’s tower without chips and smudges. I use the color “Ice”.
Shells No Moss on Roofs by Shimrod101, Shells No Grime by Shimrod101 - The absence of ugly stains on buildings and moss on roofs. The city will no longer look abandoned.
8k shadows - More beautiful and clear shadows.
Seasons of The Kingdom - A collection of defaults for simulating the change of seasons from different authors.
Necrotized Pit Beast by Simmodder99 - A less bright and cheerful monster from the pit, this is exactly how it should look.

Mods that diversify the gameplay:
Grim`s Medieval Core by Grimreefer - The most useful and global mod that allows children to grow up, retire, adopt children, repaint any object that usually cannot be repainted, rename characters, enable debugging mode at any time, configure pregnancy of same-sex couples, lock doors. This mod smooths out all the angles of the game. I am using the latest version, no problems ever.
AutoCollect by douglasveiga - A mod that allows you to send a character to collect any discovered plants with a single click. It is very useful if you do not remember where the bush that you need for the potion grows. If you like to play as magicians, spies and healers - you can’t live without it.
Forsaken+Shimrod SocialsBothFullVersions - A mod that adds a lot of actions for the relationship of two Sims. Especially often I use “Seduce” and “Knight”. I have a version with autowoohoo.
Auto Save by Grimreefer - If you constantly forget to save - it is for you.
Books and Medieval Recipes + Forsaken Recipes - Adds a variety of new recipes, books and even simulate gardening.
Scrab and Sweep floor by Simmoder99 - Allows any character to sweep and wash the floors. Very cozy action.
Dictate laws by Simmodder99 - The opportunity for the king to dictate laws to the adviser.
Collecting stones in the cave and herbs in the forest - Your cave and forest will no longer be idle - you can collect ingredients for crafting there. In the forest, you can get a different color, which can fall out of the bushes less often with a mod for new ingredients.
“Have fun” in the village tavern - Now you can not only sleep in this tavern.
Improved bath - 3 new bath actions that will add variety to the game. Arrange a spa day.
Play With Puppets by Shimrod101 - The characters play with rag dolls, increasing their leisure time. The action is autonomous, which is why everyone around can start getting them. For myself, I turned off the autonomy in this action, if anyone needs it, you can get it here.
Refresh the bath water - The action available before only servants is open to all characters.
Read Proclamation - A new action for the monarch, which increases leisure time.
Ring the Bell - A new action for all the characters, which increases leisure time.
Play With Teddy Bears by Shimrod101 - A game with teddy bears, available for adults.

Mods that add more logic to the game:
Well 50 buckets - More buckets of water in the well, because 15 for an entire kingdom is very small.
Call birds less often by Forsaken - All the townspeople around are such poultry farmers. The mod removes the autonomous call of birds at every step.
Marriage Gifts by Forsaken- More useful wedding gifts.
Red wine - Replaces rose wine with a more familiar color.
Exp for restringing and for the sharpen of the sword + Exp for playing the fiddle + Whittle Get Exp by Forsaken - Accrual of experience for actions for which it would be logical to accrue experience.
Populous II: Plus by Simmoder99 - Your king will have many more servants. do you want to demand food, and the servant has left? Ask someone else. And it also looks very good visually. There are guards and servants everywhere in the castle.
40 cells for spells - A mod so that the magician can memorize and use all the skills at the same time.
Same energy for all beds - It is logical, because you can get a great night’s sleep even on the ground.
Bear hunting is available for everyone - I have an option in which all combat characters can hunt a bear.
Joint walks and hunting - This is from the category of “It’s not clear why they didn’t do it initially”. Characters can hunt in groups and invite other characters to join the hunt and walk.
More interactions 20 by Simrecruit - When playing for several characters at once or during the collection, this helps a lot.
Drunk as a Skunk by Shimrod101 - After 3 glasses, a drunken buff appears.
Mods that change the balance for the better:
Improwed barrels - Free cooking, 30 servings, more than the cost of a drink in the tavern.
All spells cost 5 units of energy - Initially, all spells cost an unfair amount of energy, which is enough for 1-2 spells. This mod changes that.
Large Recipes 12 serves by Simmoder99 - This is much more convenient than 4 servings, which are immediately disassembled.
Sleep when you want to - It is very convenient if you want to sleep in advance or occupy one of the characters with something.
More votes - The standard voting system is simply ugly, no one ever votes for your decrees. With this mod, your decrees are more often accepted.
Easier interrogation chair - Another disgusting system in which you don’t know what to click to make it work. Using the chair becomes much easier.
The rich Monarch - A king should be richer than a knight and a merchant. It is most expensive to equip the castle. Pay for petitions, for purchases in public places. I am using a version that includes 6 children.
Free time mod - The mod is very useful for just playing and enjoying, and not constantly rushing to finish the quest.
A new system of fishing - More realistic fishing, in which the fish does not disappear from its point. You can queue up actions in one place.
Pregnancy is longer/shorter + Sweet babies - I use a pregnancy size of 3 days and babies growing for 7 days.
15 % chance of pregnancy by Shimrod101 - Much less chance of getting pregnant + the characters almost always make the bed for themselves.
Low Fat Sims by Shimrod101 - Sims don’t get fat after every overeating.
Better patrol 50 by Arglaar - This is how patrolling should actually work.

Helper programs:
RTSS - Limits the fps for smoothness of the game and not to overload the video card. But there is one THING. Initially, I did not play the latest version of the game. And it didn’t work for me. So I can say that it only works on the latest version of the game.
Razer Cortex - closes unnecessary background processes during the game and speeds up the game.
Dashboard tool - A very necessary thing for identifying duplicates
Compressorizer Redux - Allows you to compress custom content
S3PackageViewer - Allows you to view files in the format .package, shows file previews, making it easier to find what you need
S3PE - For editing, combining format files .package and create mods.
WindowedBorderlessGaming - Allows you to make a window mode without frames. But it also works only in the latest version of the game.
Reshade - Allows you to make the game more beautiful. (But it loads the video card very much)
