-Both of you decided to go camping together for this weekend

-You somehow tripped over and fell with all box of cooking supplies

-"Auch...! My leg..." you groaned in pain

-As soon you landed on the ground, K fastly ran towards you

-But it's too late, you forgot that after the entrance, there are stairs in front

-And you don't get to stop on time

-There you go, fell off the stairs and started to feel pain

-" YN! Are you okay!? " Fuma quicken his pace and check on you

-"auch... My leg... Is hurting" you groaned

-Fuma lifted you up in bridal style

-"Cancel today's plan, let's go to the hospital"

-You asked him to teach you how to properly play badminton

-And he excitedly agreed with the idea

-"Okay... Remember what I just taught you earlier, YN" Nicholas said, reminding you.

-You nodded and get ready with you badminton racket

-"Argh it's so high, let me try it again" you said and Nicholas hit again

-This time however you succeed to hit the ball back but you jumped to high

-And landed with wrong way and end up falling to the ground

-"YN!" Nicholas shocked and quickly let got his racket then ran towards you

-"You have a cut!? Come on! I will bring to the hospital!" he panicked

-"Nicho, it's only small cut... First aid kit will do" you tried to calm the man down

-But he still panicked and quickly get the first aid kid, he really worry sick

When my house was finally announced, I immediately stood up and joined the rest of the Hufflepuff students with excitement. I sat beside my big brother, Jake, with a proud smile on my face.

"See Jake? I told you that I will be hufflepuff just like you"

"Fine fine fine, you win, YN"

"I can't wait for my first class here"

"Well have fun with Prof. Snape, he is not a really friendly person"

I just nodded my head, understanding what he said. While others were busy chatting, I looked at my surroundings until something caught my attention. It's more about someone who caught my eye at the moment. It's a boy, pretty tall. Ah, I remembered him! I went to the sorting after he was done. It took a while until he realised that I was looking in his direction. I just smiled and waved at him, but he ignored me, I can even see him scoffed. Okay...what an attitude to have there?

Ni-ki's POV

"Hey Riki...what are you looking at?"

"Nothing...just a bug over there"

"Hurm? Oh that's must Jake's little sister"

"He has a sister? That's explain how friendly she is"

"Ah, just wave back to her then"

"I rather eat dirt than waving back to her"

"Hey, don't be that harsh, Riki...you might like her~"

I rolled my eyes after hearing that ridiculous statement from Jay Hyung. When I looked back at the girl, she was chatting with his brother. Good grief—or I will call her a creep—she stared at me for a long moment. She seems fragile and decent to me though. Maybe it will be fun to mess with her a little?

YN's POV

It's finally time for my very first class at Hogwarts. It's potion class with Professor Snape. Jake said he's not very friendly with anyone, except with the Slytherins, so yeah, I hope I can survive his class. I was on my way to the class with my roommate, Eunchae, who is also a Hufflepuff like me. Both of us were busy talking until someone bumped into me.

"Hey! Watch where are you going, peasant!"

"O-oh I'm sorry and do not call me a peasant, I believed that we're in the same year mister"

"Who're you thinking you are to talk with me like that?"

"Errmm YN...just ignore him, we're gonna be late just because you are bickering with Niki"

"Hurm okay, let's okay, Eunchae"

"Tch... what a waste of my time"

So that boy is Niki? It sounds familiar, but I don't have time to remember it and continue walking to my class. After a few steps, both me and Eunchae finally arrived at the dungeon, and thank God that we were late. Both of us immediately took our seats and waited for Professor Snape like other students. Minutes passed, then Niki and his friend entered, along with Professor Snape; there was no smile at all, that's for sure.

"Now...I believed all of you already knew my name so let's just skip the introduction, today I will just give a basic knowledge you have to know about potions...so now, open page 203"

"Psst...hey peasant...hey do not ignore me"

"what?"

"You look stupid"

"Oh okay"

"Lame reaction tbh...I expect for-"

"crying? Try more mister"

"You, Hufflepuff over there! Do not talking in my class!"

"B-but, he's the who-"

What in the world just happened?! Did he just deduct points for something I didn't do? What a great way to start your day, I guess. I just sighed and looked down at my book while I could feel that Niki just smirked evilly in front of me. Relax, YN; it's only been one day, and don't let this boy ruin it. That's what I wished for. However, it appears that it does not come true.

"Hello peasant, happy to see me?"

"Stop it Niki...i-it's really necessary for you to bother me everytime?"

"I will mess with you until you learn to bow before me"

"Yeah...like why exactly though?"

"You seems not afraid with while others begged for me to spare them for good"

"So I have to fear you? That's all?"

"Fear and respect me...that's-"

"And you will stop bothering me then?"

"Yeah, I mean, you said you want me fear you...so if I do so, and you will stop bothering me right"

"Tch- I don't promise that, darling but maybe...?"

I sighed and left him alone. It's already Year 3, and this freak still continues to mess with me. Like, that one time in flying class, I almost fell from my broom thanks to him. Eunchae said to me that there are rumors that Niki actually has a crush on me, which explains why he always bothers me every second he can. I don't really believe that rumor, especially what I heard from Niki earlier; he just wants me to respect and fear him, that's all.

"Hey YN! There you are!"

"Oh Hey Jay, what's up?"

"Come on, do you forget something?"

"Eh what is it?"

"It's picnic day, we planned this day, remember?"

"Oh shoot,sorry I really forgot about that"

"Now no need to sorry, and let's go, others are waiting"

Jay immediately grabbed my hand, and both of us walked from there together. I can feel that my cheeks have started to heat up a little as Jay holds my hand. I kind of have a crush on him, so yeah, that's why. Besides having a headache with Niki, Jay is always there for support and guidance, even though both of us are not in the same house. He's a slytherin like Niki, but more gentlemanly and kind than him. Well, it's not that wrong to like your brother's best buddy, am I right?

"They finally here"

"Good timing, you found her, Jay"

"Yeah, I am a good in searching"

"YN, don't tell me that you forgot again, I literally talked about this this morning!"

"Hehehehe sorry, Eunchae...Busy with something else so yeah"

"Come on now, let's gaur"

While others were leaving one by one, it was me and Niki who had not yet left. As I wanted to walk, a hand pulled me from behind and pinned me to the wall near us. When that person pulled me, an instant fear came in and I gasped. It was Niki. I was confused as hell as I looked into sharp, dark eyes. I lifted my head to look at him, as he is taller than me. He just stared at me with a stern face.

"Feeling scared now?"

"Wait what?"

"Scared with me, love?"

"How I supposed not feeling scared when someone pulled me like that you-"

"You sounded scared when I did that but...you are really red when I pinned you like this, darling"

"S-stop it...I am not"

"Yes you are...just say you like me too~"

"No... I don't like you and your attitude too"

"Oh? Or you just fear to love me?"

hey!! i read some of ur works and ur actually such a great writer omg. but i was wondering if u could make a fic where jay is playing leauge and u cant sleep without him being the way u are u find it difficult to ask if u could sit in his lap while he plays and he teases u a bit but in the end obviously says yes and when u sit down and get comfortable u starting rubbing at his scalp and giving him a head massage and he falls even more in love w u at the small gesture but also starts getting tired himself so he turns his game off but is too comfortable to go to your shared bed so u both end up falling asleep on the gaming chair while he whispers sweet nothings in your ear as u both fall asleep but then u both wake up with aching backs and necks an end up bickering abt whos fault it was (but just jokingly ofc bc u guys love eachother tm to actually get mad)

"Oh...g-good morning to you too, Jungwon"

Another day of being one of his victims. Who is he, you ask? He's Yang Jungwon, of course. He's one of the top students in school, and everybody respects him a lot, which is one of the reasons to avoid being bullied by him. Not just academically great but also great in sports and a part of the student council. Don't ask me how he, a bully, can even enter the student council team; even I can't give a proper answer about it. I don't even remember how I became his victim in the first place.

"Good...you know what happen if you choose to ignore, the consequence won't be good"

"Y-yes... I know that, Jungwon"

"Good...I want to meet you after school later. Do. Not. Forget. It."

"Okay...?"

With that, he left me there, stunned a bit. That's weird, this was actually the first time he talked to me that softly, even though it still sounds forceful. I shook my head and ignored it. I need to get my stuff in my locker or I will be late for first class. As I walked to my locker, someone familiar was waiting there. Could it be? I checked my eyes, and it's him! Heeseung is one of my upperclassmen and my crush too. I wondered why he was there, at my locker. I quickly approached Heeseung and greeted him.

"Good morning Heeseung...why are you here?"

"Oh Hey YN"

"Y-you know my name?"

"Of course I know you silly, you're the new vice president for music club"

"Oh yeahh..."

"Anyway...I actually want to ask you out with me later, after school"

"G-going out...with you? Wait what"

"I like you silly, since I saw you in freshmen year...so, would go out with me?"

I can't believe it. My crush is actually confessing to me! Oh my God, my heart is racing like crazy right now. I just nodded and told him that I accepted his confession, and then I also confessed my feelings for him. This is the best day ever in my whole life! Heeseung pulled my hand and said he wanted to accompany me to class. I politely rejected him because I don't want to make a scene since he IS one of the popular kids in school. To see him date a girl like me will be laughable to them. Heeseung hesitated at first, but he understood my request.

"Okay then...see you later after school dear"

"Bye Hee, see you soon too!"

With those goodbyes, both of us went to our classes.

Finally! The school session was finally over! I quickly cleared my stuff and ran out of the classroom first. Hurmm... I actually kinda forgot something, but I don't quite remember what it was. As I frantically tried to remember, someone tapped my shoulder, which brought me back to reality.

"Hey dear, are you ready to go now?"

"Yes Hee but I'm actually trying to remember something that I forgot..."

"Hurm? Is something bothering you, dear?"

"Nyeh...let's go, I think that not really important"

"Sure...let's go for our first date~"

Without realising it, I made a grave mistake by not remembering what I forgot that day. What was supposed to be a happy day turned into a nightmare.

Jungwon's POV

Finally, class was over, and now I had to meet YN, as I had ordered her to meet me. As I walked through the hallway, I saw YN with Heeseung Hyung. That's weird. Why do they look so close? When I saw Heeseung Hyung holding her hand, I could feel my rage boiling. Did he just touch my delicate doll? I scoffed when I saw them leaving the school building. Uh oh, someone is forgetting what's her first priority right now~

"Hey Won, let's go to the arcade!"

"Sorry Yuma...I have something to do now"

"Awww you always busy after school, come on be relax for once and come with us"

"Yeahh, you are already top student-"

"Not for studying...I have to 'catch' someone, bye"

Skip that night...

YN's POV

"Thanks for today, Hee. I have a wonderful day"

"Anything for my dear...make sure to have a rest tonight...I call you later when I arrive home"

"Sure...drive safely Hee~"

"Hey wait, leaving without my goodnight kiss?"

I just chuckled when I heard that, and he started to pout. I gave him a quick peck on his lips and waved him goodbye. As I no longer could see his car, I finally grabbed my keys to enter my house. Wait a second? Why did it not lock? Did I somehow forget to lock it this morning? This must be the one thing that I forgot today. Man, how I can be so careless. I hope no one stole anything important; I need to check it out. I entered my house and turned on the lights; nothing appeared to have been touched by anyone; everything appeared to be in the same position as when I left this morning.

"Oh good heavens...I thought I need to make a police report this night"

"Ohh? Think again sweetheart~"

"What-"

When I tried to turn to see the voice's owner, someone pushed and pinned me to the wall. I shocked with what I saw. It's Jungwon. How the heck did he even get in here in the first place?!

"Having fun with Heeseung Hyung I see, hurm sweetheart?"

"J-Jungwon...how did you-"

"Don't Jungwon me...you were having fun with him and you totally forgot something you shouldn't have forget"

"Lock my door?"

"It's me, dolly...Don't I already told you that I want to meet with you after school?"

My eyes widen when he tells me that. So, it's not my unlock door that I forgot; it was him that I forgot.

"L-look Jungwon, I'm sorry but I really forgot that...not on purpose, I swear!"

"Oh? You were sure forgot about the moment that stupid boy touched you! As for touching what's mine, I'm sure that he already be dead by now" he smirked evily.

"W-what do you mean by that!? What did you do!?"

"No need to know...now it's your turn to remember that you shouldn't ever forget about me, sweetheart...or you will know what will you get for doing so"

He said as he whispered into my ears. When he said that, I got chills because he looked at me as if I were his prey. No, I am his prey for this whole time. Before I could utter a word, he forcefully kissed me on the lips. I tried to escape, but it's no use; he's stronger than I am. When he tried to reach my neck, I pushed him away and ran to my room, where I quickly locked it. I hurriedly called Heeseung to see if what Jungwon said earlier wasn't true.

"Hello? Hee! Are you there!?

"Woah woah, relax dear? I'm driving right now...what's wrong?"

"Oh God you're safe!"

"Safe? Dear, what's-"

BOOOM

TET TET TET TET

What just happened...? Did I hear it correctly? It sounds like an explosion. The call ended just like that. I'm too shocked to even react to what I just heard. Before I could call for help, a hand swiftly took my phone and smashed it to the ground.

"You witnessed that I was telling the truth...now let's give you your punishment for forgetting me today, doll~"

-"You... Are pouring your coffee on your desk right now sir" you said, sweatdrop.

-Sunoo's eyes wided and quickly put mug the down.

-"Let me get some tissues for you, Sir" you said but before you can go anyway, Sunoo stopped you

-"Wait first YN... Forget about this, I have something that I need to tell you" Sunoo said in serious tone.

-You turned and looked at Sunoo with confused face.

-"W-will you...ehem Will you go out with me?"

-"For a meeting?"

-"No silly, for a date"

-As usual, you are waiting for Jungwon to pick you up.

-Jungwon informed you that he will be late a bit as he had a meeting to attend

-As you are waiting, one of colleagues greeted you, which you kinda uncomfortable with it.

-"Hey loveee, whatcha doing out here alone? Should you go home by now?" he asked.

-"Stop call me love, we are not dating and yes... I am waiting for my friend" you replied coldly.

-"That guy again? Is he your boyfriend or something?"

-"He's my friend, John. You should understand that I don't accept your Confession, so stop follow me" You said to your colleague whom apparently likes you.

-"Do you rejected me because of him? Right?" John asked you again

-When suddenly Jungwon appeared.

-"Yes, because I am the man that he chose to be... So stop bothering my girl and go away" Jungwon proudly claimed.

-You stunned and turned crimson red after heard what Jungwon said

-"Oh yeah? You are not even her official boyfriend or whatsoever" John scoffed.

-"Oh? Well then, I will make it official then"

Nishimura Riki

-"You can do it boss! You can do it!" Riki's henchman cheered

-"How do you even tie this thing?" Riki complained as he tried to tie his bow

-"Do you want me to help sir?" Riki's maid asked.

-"No need, Mrs.Tan...I can do it by myself" Riki said, still struggling with his bow

-Knock knock!

-"Hey Ni-ki can I eat your bunggeop- what the heck are you doing?" you appeared and surprised to Riki.

-"Oh hey YN... Errr I am doing some practice" Riki tried to explain

-"By tying yourself up? Let me help you with that" You said and helped Riki to untie

-After a few minutes, finally Riki fully untied.

-"Ah thanks for that" Riki thanked.

-"Care to explain what are trying to do?" you asked, still have no idea what her boss was trying to do

-"It's nothing really... It's just I... I want to go ask someone out, that's all" Riki said.

-"Ohh? And who is this unlucky girl that you will ask out?" you chuckled.

-"You dummy"

-"Hahahahah very funny... Wait, you serious?"

-Riki answered you question with a nod and stare

-Heeseung sighed. He took and let out his breath. 'I can do this...'

-Ding Dong!

-"Welcome to Florist Day... Oh hey Hee!" you greeted Heeseung.

-"Hey YN... I just wondering if you close your shop early today" Heeseung asked

-You tilted your head. "Huh? Is there anything happen?"

-"It's nothing really, but I just want to bring you to some place" Heeseung said.

-"Oh if that's the case... Sure, let me close my shop first" you said and went to close your shop

-After that, both of you entered Heeseung's car and started to go this particular place Heeseung mentioned.

-Few minutes later, you arrived at a beautiful flower fields outside your town

-"Flower fields?" you asked, curious.

-"Come on follow me" Heeseung said.

-You just followed Heeseung and surprised when Heeseung gave you a bouquet of red roses

-"I-I made this for you... Kinda took time and I actually want to say something" Heeseung said, his face started to turn red.

-Your heart beat moving faster, nervous.

-"I like you YN, will you be my girlfriend?"

Park Jongseong

-You as usual is doing your paper works when suddenly Jay called you.

-"Hello? Hey Jay, what's up? Anything good between your parents?" you asked him.

-"Actually not about that really" Jay replied.

-You raise your eye brow. "Huh? Then what is it?" you confused.

-"Ehem Just telling you that my father will come to your office unannounced so here I am to tell you" Jay said.

-"Ah really? Maybe he forget to tell me, thanks anyway... Oh I gotta go, got more paper works to do" with that you ended the call

-"Arghhh why it's so hard to tell her!?" Jay sighed.

-"You should try meeting here face to face, smart pants" Jay's friend, K said.

-"Like set a date?" Jay asked and K nodded his head.

-"Alright then... I will text her about it" Jay said and texted you.

-Meanwhile you already finished with your paper works, like finally.

-"Huh Jay texted? Meet me later, I will pick you up at your office, huh he want to meet later? For sure" you said and get ready for meeting with client.

-Work hours finally come to the end and now you are waiting for Jay.

-"Miss LN... I'm Mr.Park's man and he asked me to bring you to this restaurant" a tall black suit man approached you.

-You just nodded and followed him.

-When you arrived, you felt weird as you saw no other customers in the restaurant untill you saw Jay

-"Hey Jay... I don't know you have a date and why called me when you have a date?" you asked.

-"You are my date, YN."

Sim Jaeyun

-Day by day, you and Jake keep constantly chat and talk to each other (regarding Maki ofcs)

-Jake finally decided to confess his feelings to you

-"I already knew that you like Miss LN, hyung" Maki said which made Jake surprised.

-"It's obvious the way you looked at her when you come to pick me up" Maki added.

-Jake's face seriously got red when Maki said that.

-"And I think that Miss LN like you too~ Go confess now and you will regret later" Maki encouraged his brother.

-"But how? I don't know what to plan" Jake said.

-"Just go with the classic, hyung" Maki suggested.

-"Bring her to a place that will become your and her special place" Maki said.

-Jake only nodded to his little brother's idea.

-"Oh hello Jake. Do you need anything?" you went to see Jake as he requested to meet up at a cafe.

-"Actually I have something to tell you" Jake said.

-You just tilted your head.

-"Just wait for a minute" Jake said as he smiled.

-Then a waiter brought a slice of cake and two cup of coffee.

-"Oh my..." you surprised when you looked at the cake's plate with a sentence written in caramel syrup.

-"Will you be mine?"

Park Sunghoon

-After a year working under Sunghoon, you already be a super great secretary, always know what to do

-Already know what will Sunghoon ask for

-And that within year, Sunghoon developed a feeling for you

-"Just confess already Hoon... Argh but what will she think about me? I am her boss after all" Sunghoon mumbled to himself.

-With that, he called you to his office

-"Ermm okay...?" you felt weird, you usually can guess what he will ask but today's different

-"And come on, follow me" Sunghoon said and pulled you.

-You just quiet and followed him to wherever he will bring you.

-"Ermm Han river? Do you lost something here for me to look for?" you asked as you remembered what happened last month.

-"Not that, but just want to see the sky here with you" Sunghoon said.

-You looked at Sunghoon with a confused face.

-"The sky is beautiful, isn't it?"

Yes, it's him. My one and only crush, Eui Joo, or as people around us called him Ej for short. Both of us have been friends since we were in elementary school. That's when I started to have feelings for him. The problem is that I chose to like him from afar without making a single move. People will usually take the first step to get closer to their crush, right? But here I am, standing still like a statue.

"Come on, YN-shi. Go and say hi to him before he enter the class...!"

That's my best friend, Wonyoung. She really is into helping me get closer to Ej, as she claimed that she could sense that both of us could end up becoming a cute couple. What am I up to? Instead of saying Ej, I said Eunchae, as I saw her behind Ej. I looked at Wonyoung, who had already opened her mouth to see what had happened. It's so close yet I still missed it—did my nervousness really affect me that much?

Yeah, it did help me before, just like Eunchae and Wonyoung mentioned, but I don't think it should apply when you want to confess to someone, right? I shook my head and left those two who were planning something; I feel bad that I didn't accomplish anything with their assistance until now. That's what you get when your friend is an introvert. I was about to sit down when I noticed a mint candy and a note under my desk. For the mint candy, I don't really think much because everyday I receive it but a note? It has no name, it is anonymous. Did someone misplace it, or was it really meant for me?

"Don't give up. Go straight up and confess? That's really a bold move"

"Hey YN, both of me and Eunchae thought that if you- hey what's that?"

"Hurm? Oh, it's just an anonymous note, nothing much-"

"Nothing much!? It could be a sign you dummy!"

"What sign?"

"It must be from Ej~ I mean, you could look at the handwriting and compare it using his practice book over there"

Handwriting? I quickly went to the teacher's desk in front and looked for EJ's practise book. Not here, nope, nah... yes, there it is. I did a comparison with both the note and the book. It matched, so that means it's really from Ej? So, why did he make it anonymous? Well, anyway, maybe I should have replied to it back then. But how? use the same method? or maybe face-to-face with him? Wait, what's up with this note? Does he already know that I like him or what? Is it too obvious? I was just lost in my thoughts until someone greeted me.

"Can we talk for a sec?"

"O-oh Ej! W-what's need to talk about?"

"I can help you with c-o-n-f-e-s-s-i-o-n"

"Wait what...?"

"You like Nicholas right?"

Did he mention Nicholas? Wait, did he think I have a crush on one of his buddies, Nicholas? And now he wants to help me with the confession? Good grief. This will be a confusing situation now. But what makes him think I have a crush on Nicholas? Me, who tried to not make my feelings towards Ej so obvious, but how did it end up being obvious with Nicholas? I lifted my head slowly and made eye contact with Ej. His expression is both adorable and solemn in this situation. Maybe I will play along for awhile first.

"How did you know about that? I can confirm no one except Wony and Eunchae know about it"

"I can feel it whenever both me and Nicholas are around with you guys"

"And that's when you figured it out?"

"yeah...kinda a bit obvious though"

Both Ej and I are now on the rooftop, getting ready for "confession." He really told me everything about Nicholas, from A to Z, since he thought I liked his friend. In reality, I like him, not Nicholas, how can he misunderstand that?

"I already called Nicholas and I'm gonna hide behind, over there"

"Ej..."

"Don't worry, I'm sure this plan will work well, YN-chan"

"Ej! I-I don't worry about that...quite irrelevent actually"

"Irrelevent? Wait, I don't understand right now... I thought you like-"

"No...I don't like Nicholas more than friends..."

"Then who did you-"

"It's you...you're the one that I like, not Nicholas..."

Silent. Only the sounds of nature fill the silence between us. I guess that's it. It's time to move on, I guess. This is typical of your crush's rejection. I bowed to him and started to walk away until he pulled my wrist, stopping my steps.

"You...you like me, YN?"

"Yes and I understand if you don't like me back and I-"

"I like you too"

"Wait what? Then why you thought I like Nicholas in the first place?"

"You seems to avoid me too much and still okay with Nicholas so that's the idea"

"Oh about that, I don't want to make it obvious that I have feelings to you so yeah"

"I guess my hints doesn't work that much huh?"

"What do you mean?"

"Remember the mint candy you always receive every single day? That's from me, kinda surprising that you thought it from either Wonyoung or Eunchae"

"So that's from you!?"

"Yeah...I gave those candies as it help you stay 'alive' in class"

Those delicious candies were from him all this time!? Oh my gosh, this is becoming so awkward right now. Relax, YN, at least you now know that he likes you too, right? Now, let's give him a proper confession now.

"Now...Ej, I have something to tell you, I like you since we were in elementary school but all this time, I chose to like you from afar and quietly as I don't want ruin our friendship. So, may I be your girlfriend?"

Ej pulled me into an embrace as a quick response. He leaned in, and our lips met with each other. That is now officially my happiest day of my life.

"They're gonna thank us for this picture, 35 dollar"

One word. Inseparable. That's how people around me described me and my best friend, Yang Jungwon. We've been friends since we were kids. Most of the time, we will always be together and do any activities together too. Even though we are always together, there will be some time that he will be my great rival, academic rival, for example. Both of us can be quite competitive when it comes to competitions and being top students. Like, I mean, we want to be aces, so why not challenge each other to reach for the best, am I right? That sounds like a healthy friendship to me, as long as you compete on good terms.

"Hey Won! I will beat you in this round first!"

"Nah, not when I beat you first!"

"Hah! I like to see you try that, smart pants"

That's just apart from our normal routine of beating each other in online games. Aside from academic competition, we can also be very competitive in individual category events. Believe me when I say that we are constantly competing with one another. Some people might just give in or let it slide, but not for us. As long as you can compete in a good way, then just go for it. That's what both me and Jungwon hold on to. That's what made our friendship so fond until now. However, I don't know what's up with me these days, to be honest. Every time I went to hang out with Jungwon, I felt a sudden rush of butterflies in my stomach each time I looked at him.

"Hello? YN? Are you there? Earth to YN"

"Oh! Sorry, I'm kinda lost in thoughts"

"Lost in thoughts? I see. Anyway, how's your opinion on that competition?"

"What competition?"

"Someone's not paying attention in class I see"

Oh shoot, what competition? not paying attention? How am I supposed to concentrate when all I can think about is you? a bug that made me feel some weird feelings. Let me refresh my memories first. Ah! Now that I remember, it's a treasure hunt competition that our school is organizing. As upper-level students, we are required to attend this event in order to receive extracurricular credit.

"Yeah...now I remember it...so are we gonna be in the same team or not?"

"Hurm, I'm not sure about that... I think that Miss Kim will update about teams list in our chat group later"

"Do you think that we will be in the same group?"

"About that, no comment. It's good if both of us in the same group. It's kinda be a rare occurance, hahaha"

"Yeah since we are always compete with each other at school way too much"

You heard that right. It's so rare for us to be put on the same team in any competition that we enter. But, deep down in my heart, I really wish that I could be his teammate. Wait, is this a sign that I might already like him? not platonic anymore, but in a romantic way? I shook my head to ignore that thought. That thought can be harmful to our friendship. My other side, on the other hand, simply stated, "There's nothing wrong with liking your own best friend." Wow, what a bold side one that I have there. Suddenly, I felt a vibration from my phone, it must be Miss Kim, as she mentioned that she would send our team list to the chat group precisely at this time.

"Hey Miss Kim sent messages. It must be the list"

"Oh goody, kinda hope that both of us can be teammates, I-I mean like we can sometime take a break from this rivalry for awhile"

"Yeah, I agree with you on that one"

"H-hey Won, we..."

"In the same group!? That's great! Now we can surely win this with ease"

"But why we have to be one team with E/N!?"

"Don't worry, just ignore her and you will be just fine, YN"

Fine? Oh no, this is not fine! I was already having the time of my life until E/N decided to show up and ruin everything. E/N has been my mortal enemy since elementary school. I'm not sure why she always chooses me as her victim. According to some rumor, she has a crush on Jungwon. Now you understand that I can't stay put; I ain't just going to watch her flirt with Jungwon. It's more irritating than being jealous, or is it jealousy? I don't know that too.

It's the day. The day of the treasure hunt competition. There's me and two more of my teammates, we were waiting for Jungwon and E/N to arrive. After a few minutes, both of them arrived together, laughing and talking like it would be the last one. Okay, YN, just stay cool and do not let that go through you, you have a competition to win right now. But looking in their direction somehow really made me boil.

"Okay both of you can stop now. We have a competition to win here"

"Oh cut it, YN. Don't you see that me and Wonie are having a great conversation over here?"

"Do you think I even care? Come on and let's go, Miss Kim called for us to the main hall"

With that, I left our classroom, feeling annoyed. A great conversation? Hah! I knew him better than you do, E/N. You might be having a great conversation, but I have a great memory with him. Yeah, I tried to convince myself by saying that, just like what you guys think right now. Am I breaking the fourth wall? Nah, nevermind about that. All of us have been given some tasks that we must complete in order to get the treasure and win. As me and my teammates are doing our tasks, E/N is just there, following Jungwon like a loyal lost puppy. I can't really help it when Jungwon still won't say anything about it. Relax, YN, you just exaggerate things; it's just a small matter. Is this my way of convincing myself to keep my cool in the face of jealousy?

"Wonieeee come on, I don't understand with this task. Can you help please?"

"Oh sure E/N... you just need to do just like this"

"Aren't they look cute with each other?

"Yeah kinda, if E/N is more nicer then yes they are suitable together"

That's the last straw. I clenched my fist and watched them from afar with an irritating face. My other teammates' comments are really not helping me with that problem; they are just adding more fuel to the fire. I tried to ignore them and avoided making any eye contact with either of them. Eventually, our group won first place in the event. At first, I wanted to go celebrate it with my group until I saw that both Jungwon and E/N were not there. My teammate stated that they had both already left. That's hurt really, and a mood killer too. I bid goodbye to my teammates and said that we could celebrate our winning another time. I just want to go home right now. On my way back, a voice called me from behind. A familiar voice.

"YN! Wait a minute!"

"Jungwon? What are you doing here? Were you go for a marathon?"

"No...it just...why you left early? I thought we will go for celebration"

"Firstly, you and E/N left first and the three others including me had no idea where are you both gone to. Second, I no longer have any mood to celebrate"

"Sorry for that. E/N just tried to get me to go hang out with only her so yeah"

"Then go, she must be waiting her charming prince"

"What's up with that tone? Since we knew our team members, you seems to be irritated so much, I knew something is up with you"

"It's nothing and now off you go"

"Not until you tell me the reason first"

"Nope and go now, she's waiting-"

"JUST TELL ME, I WANT TO KNOW"

"I LIKE YOU, DO YOU GET IT NOW?!"
