I know I’m due to update y’all on a whole bunch of things, and I will when I can, but interim it would mean a lot to me if you can sign, share to your other socials, reblog, et cetera this petition set up by my healthcare provider.

It came about because earlier this week we lost the pharmacy that dispenses our HRT due to media coverage about “hormones given to children” by “parents avoiding NHS safeguards” (no mention of the 2 years+ waiting lists that parents and kids are actually trying to avoid, nor that most kids are actually on blockers, not HRT). The article was the lastest in a long line of attacks and lead to the regulator getting involved with the pharmacy, adding lots of headache and restrictions to them. Normally pharmacies are allowed to just trust the doctor who prescribed, but for us now they have to actually check on our doctors, redo the doctor’s job with additional checks that pharmacists never normally do (and I should know: excluding HRT, I take a minimum of 6 different medicines and upwards of 12 tablets a DAY. And of those, there’s multiple controlled drugs in different control brackets and one unlicensed medicine, so I know prescribing and dispensing regs to the letter.)

Just to reassure you all, GenderGP have been sending daily updates to us and it seems very likely I will be able to get my meds on time (delayed and stressful, and possibly more expensive, but I will get them.)

TLDR: This petition was set up by my awesome doctors after all our medication supplies were threatened this week, so please sign.

I guess this is kinda relatively IMPORTANT compared to most of personal posts.

Hi everyone, so yeah I recently decided to do a lot more transistioning, like socially transistion more, being out in the trickier places to be out like work and family, actually ask people to use my pronouns, and legally change my title and name, that kinda thing, and also I am about to trial taking testosterone. I will shortly be/already beginning to be drowning in bureaucracy related to all of this.

It’s fucking terrifying tbh and saying nice things to me or just sending me asks/@ing me to tell me about random cool things (just random fandom stuff or lolz or whatever) or sending my random WYRs or asks about sexy TLOU characters or whatever sometime would all be cool and helpful. Especially for any of you that can maybe space out doing this like when you think of it as it’s probably gonna be a difficult patch, more than a rough day or two for me atm.

Requests that really suit being a quick ficlet that I just bash out in one sitting would also be good as and when.

You can AMA about my specific enby situ as long as it’s polite, but please google the nonbinary basics first as I’m already drowning in people who I need to explain the basics to. It’s they/them/theirs, still Persephone, err still me but more people know more truth I guess. Let’s find some gifs to sex up this post, peace and blessings and stay safe.
