The tale as old as time

guy who is definitely not about to fall into a surprise midday nap with an aftermath worse than a hangover: it seems like a really good idea to lay in bed and get cozy under the blanket as part of my plan not to fall asleep. I do not know why.

You know, there is this thing called “illusory correlation” in psychology. Like thinking “it always rains on the weekend after u wash ur car”. That statement is statistically wrong but u think it is true. Also “negativity bias”, which is basically that when a good or neutral thing of same intensity happens, it has less mental effect on us than a negative one. Stuff like these makes us more pessimistic, thinking everyone is horrible. I cannot say the opposite, there surely are horrible people out there. It doesn’t matter how much i study these cognitive biases, I get blinded by the bad stuff as well. But the overall picture isnt that hard on the eye, right?

Actually, people are good by nature and you’re a fool if you think otherwise.
