i have always had an extremely complicated relationship with my appearance but since I have been on medication for my acne and my skin has cleared up, i have been feeling a lot more confident.
i have very conflicted feelings about this revelation since i am aware of the fragility of my appearance and don't want my confidence to come from such fleeting origins.
this however makes me wonder if there truly is any confidence that goes beyond physical presentation and its ever-changing characteristics. am i chasing after an inexistent sense of peace with oneself? i think i should go to bed.

one of my fave things about spiders is how they walk. theyre so thoughful and melodical about every step and i think thats really cute. they pause when they're unsure and approach everything with this poise about them.
from the perspective of my engineering degree, its also really cool how they move their legs using hydraulics of their own haemolymph (bug blood).
they also have little toe beans. thats also great.

growing up in a world where extremism is encouraged everywhere, where after watching a movie you are immediately asked if you liked it or not in order to keep recommending you similar movies, where you are greatly encouraged to choose an aesthetic to stick to it, there is so much power in a idk.
the power of "no clue, i have to sit with it", the power of "i'm not sure yet", the power of "i don't know enough about this" is so important i think

"don't let your disability stop you from reaching your goals!" i have no choice but to let my disability put obstacles between me and my goals, you think i just pick and choose when i can/can't do something? it's the literal definition of a disability, it disables you from doing things. how hard is that to understand?
