lets make one thing clear: anyone can perpetuate transandrophobia, transmisogyny and exorsexism, but ultimately the only people who benefit are cis people. infighting and lateral aggression among trans people only serves the goals of transphobes. There is no reason to put the blame of hatred and oppression on our fellow trans people.

“Oh yeah, we mixed with lesbians. We always got along back then. All that division between the lesbian women and queens came after 1974 when Jane O'Leary and the radical lesbians came up. The radicals did not accept us or masculine-looking women who looked like men. And those lesbian women might not even have been trans. But we did get along famously in the early 60’s. I’ve been to many a dyke party… The lesbian community today has a lot to learn from the old ways of the lesbian community.”

Say My Name
Fandom: Arcane Pairing: Vi/Jinx Warnings: Incest Rating: R (for implied sexual content at the beginning)
Summary: Hello, friends, I did not disappear
----
“Powder,” Vi groans, penitent, up from the pit of her stomach, “I should never have called you that, I’m so fucking sorry—“
“What, for that?” Jinx giggles, cocking her head. She waves her hand. “Oh, I’ve forgiven you for that, sis.” She hops up on the edge of the table and braces her arms so her shoulders are hunched forward and framed just so, accentuating her collarbones. She smiles impishly. “Just say my name, baby.” A beat. “If you really mean it.”
Vi’s whole body turns to tensed sinew, so much that Jinx thinks she may actually explode—wouldn’t that be ironic, a bomb not of her own devising—finishing the job she started all those years ago—Violet’s teeth cracking under the pressure—pressure—blood pulp bone crushed bone spraying—
“Jinx.” A knife-stab of displaced air, the kick-back of a gun. It’s not a word; it’s a wound. A void, the missing electric shock and sizzle of flesh, whole fabric and stuffing in her hands and a missing sister. She never watched Violet get the bunny down from that wire.
How pretty, now, falling bloody from Violet’s lips. Her limp form on the concrete—if she miscalculated. Didn’t she ever miscalculate? She never saw it. Never fatally.
Ever so fallible, Silco hums, next to her ear.
God, what a heart.

The secret to writing relatable characters is to picture yourself in their circumstances, carefully fix in your mind exactly what information would be available to you in that situation, and figure out what the worst possible decision you can imagine yourself honestly thinking seemed like a good idea at the time is.

Ianthe: “Ladies and gentlemen” is unnecessarily gendered, overly formal, lengthy, and honestly I’m falling asleep already.
Ianthe: “Cowards”, on the other hand, is inclusive to all genders, casual and fun, short and to the point, exciting, and dramatic.

When you see a really good post but there’s some form of guilt tripping to reblog it added on at the end

(ID: A screenshot of Marge from the Simpsons looking dismally at the camera with one arm raised. A caption underneath her reads “It’s true, but I’m not reblogging it.” End ID)

Camilla: Also who taught you to hold your sword like that, put your left hand at the bottom of the pommel, tuck in the arm close to the chest--

“I was always better than all of you—and none of you noticed—nobody ever notices, which is both my virtue and my downfall. How I hate being so good at my job …You noticed, didn’t you, you horrible little Ninth goblin? Just a bit?”
