More than Enemies- Chapter One

My last job as an assassin was him, Sakusa Kiyoomi.

Would have thought the key to my freedom lay in the death of an underworld mob boss and not just any mob boss but the goddam heir to the Russian empire. Just my luck.

I marked him for months, my job clean with no slip-ups. This was supposed to be the perfect job, a record for the book so how did I end up blindfolded, cuffed, and wet in some storeroom that stank like broken dreams and missed freedom.

How did I get here? The last thing I remembered was being at the airport, Mr. Kiyoomi's plane was to land any minute and I was well prepared to nab my chance with his death. I had seen him through my dark shades as he strode with authority down to his waiting car where I had installed a bomb, I just needed him close, and boom! So close, with each step he took I held my breath but then nothing, I was here. . .

I didn't say a word and made effort not too move much in my attempt to feign still being unconscious. Try to assess my situation and know who in the world would court their end by taking me.

I heard heavy footsteps approach me and I steadied my breathing, almost to nothing. "Boss, she still sleeping."

"Is she now?" That voice, I know that voice. "Leave us." Sakusa bloody Kiyoomi.

He knew all along I was on his tail, played my game, and won like a master. Well, fuck me.

"Keep pretending girl and I will make it real_" in a low voice he said. "Permanently."

I raised my head, not that I could see him but I could tell where to look.

He may have seen through my plans and kidnapped me but he had nothing on a ghost, try as he may wondering who the stunning girl who rocked in everything black is, I didn't exist anywhere so he may have said his checkmate but the queen still has a role to play.

With a sweet smile on, I started a new game. "Hello,"

When you take his first kiss

Featuring: Oikawa, Tsukishima, Kageyama

Oikawa

You are a die-hard fan girl of Oikawa and you go to his signing but with the crowd present, there was no chance you would get to meet him. With a defeated sigh you go into a cafe across the street and it is empty of customers or so you thought until you saw someone at the far corner dressed in black, you couldn't make out who it was because they had their face hidden under the sun glasses and mask they wore. After grabbing something to eat you decide to be friendly and join them at their table.

He watched you take the seat opposite of him and he wondered if you were a fan and recognized him.

"Hello... Umm, my name is y/n." You say with a smile on your face.

He lifts his head and you as a fan obsessed with Oikawa you recognized him and gasped at the realization.

You noticed how he tensed and understood he was hiding but why?

"You know who I am," He said.

"What? I... I don't, how can I when I can't even see your face."

He took it off, his glasses and mask before lowering his hoody and running his hand through his hair and you swooned like a typical fan girl but you immediately composed yourself since you were sure he was hiding from his fans.

"Now?"

You shake your head before picking up a donut. "Am I supposed to know you? Are you famous?"

He sighed in relief and sank back into his chair. "No, I am." He lied.

"Want a donut?" You offered.

"What?"

"I bought too many so you can have one."

He took it and you secretly watched him eat a donut you bought.

"Why are you here all alone?" You ask cooly.

"Oh I like the service here plus it is empty of people."

You seemed cool on the outside but on the inside, you were having a party, you were living every fan girl's dream right now and you wanted to scream.

"I actually came here to see someone but I couldn't so I just entered here, I don't know why I felt like sitting here." You said honestly.

Being here with him was so natural like you could see that he is just a person too.

"Faith." You hear him say.

"Faith? Maybe."

Then your phone dinged from inside your pocket, a notification from the Oikawa fan group you are an executive at and your eyes widen, they knew he was in here and everyone at the signing could storm in at any moment.

You look up from your phone to him with a panicked expression, what could you do?

"This is the cafe!" From outside you hear someone yell and you know you have to do something.

Without thinking you find yourself moving to the other side of the table, you make sure to cover the door view before pulling his face close to yours.

"Sorry for what is about to happen but play along," you whisper before connecting your lips with his.

You move your lips against him with your eyes shut tight but he doesn't kiss you back. You faintly hear someone open the cafe door but they are soon gone.

When you were sure they were gone you pulled back, your face red with embarrassment, why did you do that? Does he hate you? You couldn't stop those thoughts. You summoned courage and looked at him, he was looking at you too with heat in his eyes and you are about to apologize again when he pulls you back, taking your lips so soft that you see stars.

You kiss him back, getting on his lap and forgetting yourself in him.

Tsukishima

You both had a project to do together, he wasn't your best friend but you decided to bare it until the project was done and then you could leave. You ring his doorbell and after like a minute you hear footsteps and then the door opening.

"Hi, I am here to work on the project."

He doesn't say anything but steps out of the way for you to enter. He closes the door and follows behind you. You stood awkwardly in his living room when he goes inside and later returned with something in his hand.

He placed it on the table right in front of you.

"Uh... The project?"

"I already did it," he said pointing at what he dropped on the table.

"What?" You frowned, "you did it on your own."

"Exactly so you don't have to..."

"You crazy jerk, who do you think you are? I Get you're smart but that doesn't mean you can do this, It's a group project dummy so you can't just pull shit like this ahhh..." You ramble on letting out every frustration he made you feel.

You could never beat him in class and now what is he trying to prove with this? You back him up against the wall, your breathing heavy as you let it all out and now you are both close, too close and staring at each other.

Taking the leap you stand on your tiptoe and place a kiss on his lips but he doesn't kiss back, it frustrates you, even more, when you pull back. Without a word you turn and leave his house, taking the bus back home and hiding under your covers.

Tsuki remains in shock as he stares at the space you were just in. Did he do something wrong? He had never seen you like that and he always watched you because well he has a massive crush on you.

He wasn't ready to be alone with you in his house so he did the project alone to avoid it but somehow you kissed him and his mind were too numb to even react and now you are gone. His hand touched his lips, his first kiss... Made his brain that never seemed to shut down go numb and he wants more.

Kageyama

He was under your favorite tree, in the sunset he looked almost angelic with the pink petals falling over him, your friend you wanted to confess to today.

You took a deep breath and released it before taking small steps toward him, making sure to be quiet so you can spook him from behind but he knew you too well to fall for such a trick. A smile spread on his lips the moment you touched him.

He took your hand. "Hello, you kept me waiting."

"Wow, have you been waiting that long?"

He pouts and nods and you couldn't stop your own smile. You watched him put your hand in his pocket along with his as you walked in the park. Things like this were what made you want him, did he know that he made your heart skip a beat? He would soon.

The park was mostly empty by this time of the day and you both walked in silence, you kept replaying what you wanted to say to him when he suddenly stopped walking.

You gazed at him and he was looking at you, a glint in his eyes and you couldn't talk.

"I... Uhhh," a small laugh left him. "I want to tell you something and I want you to just listen okay, don't say anything just listen."

Not that you could even speak but you managed to nod.

"Okay... I like you, not just as a friend." He watched you so intensely and you could tell he meant what he was saying. "We have been together for so long and it may seem weird but I do like you and I didn't want to ruin our friendship so I didn't say anything but"

You jump into his arms taking him by surprise but not as surprising as kissing him. He felt your soft lips against his and it seemed like a dream, he had you in his arms and having his first kiss with you. His eyes closed as he brought you closer, kissing you back while thinking that maybe it was a dream but he would accept even that.

✰Kageyama falling inlove for the first time✰

PART 2

Kageyama spacing out, yelling out of nowhere then hitting his head against the wall, sometimes his setting is off and the boys ask him what is wrong but he just grunts in annoyance. His dumb action was still hunting him, like why run!

He definitely wants to see you again but what would he even say... 'Sorry for dumping a book on your head and running?' Where could he even find you? Well, you were in the school library so at least he knew you went to the same school but how could he not have seen you before?

You watch him in class from the last sit something that somehow entertains you with the way he talks to himself sometimes, you are still trying to understand why he just left. Did he know you? After all, you both are in the same class, and the way he looked at you like... He was shocked... You wanted to go over to him and say hi... Why did you leave?

With a sigh, you give up trying to figure him out and go to your usual place during lunch and that's when you meet again, you wear your hoodie with your face covered and looking down while rounding a corner and you collide into someone, the books you just borrowed from the library end up on the floor and you rush to pick them because they are limited edition. You are about to apologize when you hear his dreamy voice, yes you have dreamt about his voice since you have been a secret admirer since forever.

You lift your head and your hoodie falls back exposing your face and just like that you are both engaged in a staring competition. Students passing don't get it but literal sparks are flying as he stares into your ocean blue eyes and his heart does that again, beating faster and louder and you can definitely hear his, could he hear yours?

"You? " he whispers more to himself.

The spell is broken and you both pick up the books and stand, then came the awkward moment 😑

"... Uh hi, " you say "bye."

A total cringe-wordy moment as you try to escape but...

"Hey wait"

You pause the instant the words leave his mouth and you couldn't move even though you wanted to.

"Your book." he managed to say even though he wanted to apologize, ask your name maybe your number.

You take a step back, take your book and rush off without looking back, and just like he lost another opportunity.

❁ Hinata falling in love for the first time ❁

Hinata would be too innocent to realize he has actually fallen for you his childhood sweetheart but not when the feeling of love is like the whole world disappears when you are around him. He always had feelings for you but to him, it was 'just friends' but all that changes.

You are returning after three years away and he is over the moon about it and can't wait to see you. He still remembers your short blonde hair you sometimes let him braid even though he does the worst job on it, your adorable baby face that blush easily at a single tease and he liked that he was taller than you.

Let's just say three years is a pretty long time because Hinata is stunned to his very core. like a vampire's first heartbeat, he is blooded at the sight of you coming down from the car. Your light blue eyes are darker now and they sparkle at the sight of him and you might as well have shot an arrow to his heart because it swelled with something he couldn't even describe.

"Y/n?" He is barely able to get a word out.

You tuck your now long hair behind your ear and smile at him before pulling him into a bear hug.

"Oh, I missed you."

Your voice is like music to his ear. The closeness sends his brain on overdrive and your scent absolutely heavenly. He doesn't want you to pull away but he doesn't hug you back because he was sure his body won't listen to his brain now.

You pull away and go hug your parents and he is still just not able to take it all in. You think he is being weird, he wouldn't talk to you the whole day and he just stayed in.

Maybe he doesn't like you anymore whereas Hinata is blushing under his covers with a dreamy look in his eyes, how can you be just friends now when all he can think or wait he can't even think? He turns to google for help, 'why do I feel like my friend is the prettiest person alive'

He realizes the feeling now and he is in love with you or maybe it's just a crush I mean you have been friends forever, he has seen you in just your underwear before and there is no going back from there but his heart says different.

Now Hinata plans to confess...

Tsukishima is for sure your born enemy, he always manages to piss you off with how smart he is, and let's not forget how he loves to rub it in so you are basically life rivals but love doesn't obey such boundaries.

✥ Tsukishima in love for the first time ✥

He likes your constant banter and looks forward to it but he doesn't even realize it. Love hits Tsukishima like caffeine in your system makes you hyper.

Love happens anywhere and for tsukki, it's in a dark ally, his big mouth finally got him in trouble as you predicted and he won't shut up even when they have the upper hand and they had roughed him up a bit. It's your route home and honestly, you can't just ignore him, you sigh and take out your phone to record.

"OMG public violence! So lame." You have Tsukishima's mocking expression down.

All heads turn to you, all of them giving you nasty scowls but tsukki smirks and rolls his eyes at you like he doesn't need your help.

One of them tries to approach you.

"Don't even try it, I'm live right now," you smile. "If you don't leave now you will end up in jail and he could sue you for a lot of money."

With hard glares, they leave and Tsukishima sags to the floor, he huffs out a breath and rests his head on the wall.

"You are an idiot," you state to him.

For the first time, he doesn't have any kind of annoying remark to say back because he is like THIS ISN'T HAPPENING. Tsukishima is smart enough to know what he is feeling but it's still foreign to him especially when it's YOU!!

He noticed his little reactions to your presence before but now it's just not something he could ignore. He stares at the hand you put out for him to take then he looks at you and maybe he is starting to be delusional because the first thought that comes to his mind is 'she is pretty'

It was bound to happen, he did his calculations like typical tsukki and yeah he was likely to have feelings for someone eventually but YOU!? There was no stressing it more than that but he is officially messed in the head because tsukki is full-on blushing.

Then he asks, "why did you do that?"

You squat and Pat his hair making him go crazy. "I don't want my rival getting hurt if it's not done by me."

You practically claim him with those words even if you don't know what is going through his mind and now you have a guy who would make you his.

He would play his games and make you a pawn and his queen at the same time, there is no time to realize what is happening until he checkmates.

✬Kageyama falling inlove for the first time✬

Kageyama would never know what to do with the feeling of love, he is dense like that and honestly, it is the cutest thing ever.

You are the quiet girl that no one really notices because you just like to keep a low profile and you both meet in the most unnatural place for Kageyama to be.

"I would like to return a book." He says to the Liberian who just points somewhere without even sparing him a glance.

He nods and just walks off even though he had no idea what she pointed at.

You are just in a quiet place at the very far end of the library that has little lighting and no one would ever think to go. He absent mindedly moves probably scrolling for what next to read but he was more of a comic book person, novels had too many words and it was as good as studying to him.

He sees you sitting in a corner on the floor, your head against the wall and your long hair falling over your face no matter how many times you tuck it behind your ear. His gaze moves to look at the busy library and then at you he wonders if you have no friends

It's not his business, he is about to leave when you feel his gaze on you and you lift your head from your book and find him looking at you.

Like that he feels his heart racing as he takes in a sharp breath. With the wideness of your doe eyes, your dark messy hair even in the dim light your cheeks were rosy and your small button nose just screams cute. It hits him like a lightning bolt through his body, absolutely stunned and completely confused like WHAT IS HAPPENING!!.

He is never friendly to people he doesn't know but he finds himself walking towards you and you just want to shrink away.

Why is he coming over? Maybe you were surprised to see him because your heart did a little leap when you caught his stare and you know who he is but he shouldn't know who you are so why?

He wouldn't just talk to you really because he is still figuring out what he was doing and why? For a second he just wants to turn around and avoid this situation but the deed is done and there is no stopping his legs now. He looks through the shelves there pretending you aren't even there but all he could really think is what am I doing?

From the corner of his eyes he catches a peek of your book and it should be absolutely impossible that you are reading the comic he was holding. Somehow he imagined you would be the type to love studying.

A book from the shelf falls landing on your head and he just goes still because he thought he just ruined any chance to talk to you. He becomes super nervous and knows he should apologize but you get up and face him.

"Your book." You said while handing him the book.

And Kageyama just walks away without a word because he was absolutely tongue-tied at the sound of your voice, your adorable height too. His heart had the potential to explode if he spent another second there.

He doesn't want to think about it so he absorbs himself into practice but once he is alone he couldn't help it and he runs enough laps that his legs feel like there would fall off if he didn't stop but you were stuck in his head along with the completely dumb thing he did.
