Ayer fue el Día del cómic en España, y como siempre me genera un síndrome del impostor grandísimo hablar de mis cómics en un día así pero... ¿Supuestamente también es mi día, no? Este año he decidido por fin hablar un poquito de mi y de mi (poca, casi inexistente) trayectoria 😖💦

Soy Pau y vivo en la Comunidad Valenciana, aunque he dibujado desde bien peque y por diversión cuando estaba en el instituto (la época tumblr fue muy divertida) no estudié nada de arte, así que mis pasitos han sido muuucho mas lentos al resto, o por lo menos así lo he sentido por mucho tiempo. Aún así, no he parado de dibujar nunca así que finalmente pensé en seguir los pasos de varios amigos míos e intentar esta cosa llamada dibujación. Siempre he tenido la sensación de estar empezando, y ni me canso de intentarlo. Me quedan muchas cosas por hacer, solo espero que la vida me sea amable conmigo para poder seguir un poco más entre viñetas 💕💕💕

Para quien no conocía mi background, aquí me presento un poquito y en español que luego la gente no tiene idea de que soy de aquí *risas Ah si, en mi trabajo en oficina convivía con una rata que me daba sustos de infarto y me ahogaba con el humo de tabaco de mi jefe, y antes de eso trabajé en comedores escolares sirviendo lentejas mientras hacía que el niño más odiado de la clase fuera el mejor y que los niños cambiaran de opinión sobre él. He sido una persona normal hasta ahora, creo.

Knapsack Magazine is a comics anthology that is a love letter to our collective weird kid nostalgia. Comics have been ever present through our lives, and with Knapsack Magazine we wanted to emulate our love for serialized manga publications like Shojo Beat and Shonen Jump, popularized in North America during the 90's and early 2000’s. Knapsack is meant to fit snugly in your Jansport backpack, holding precious things, ready to be a friend on your way back from school. With this anthology, we hope to evoke the nostalgia and excitement of picking up a new manga after school and being swept away into an entirely new world. - Lucky Pocket Press
