❤ Part 2. ...of all the hardships I have been through and as hard as it has been with in laws and life away from Mum and Dad and my family. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without my husband. He is my biggest blessing and I thank Allah swt every day for him. He’s been my biggest support, my best friend, my love, my laugh and my shoulder to cry on. Marriage isn’t easy but it’s worth it when you have a husband so Caring and always wants to see you happy. It’s been 4 years since we’ve been married and even now I miss him when I go to work. I miss him. I feel like I want to spend my days with him. We have the best times on holiday and going out and even shopping is so nice with him. Although I moan about stuff and tease him about stuff he’s still the best. He helps me be a better person and always makes me understand. How did I get so lucky? Sometimes we forget about the little things in our day to day lives that they do for us that make them so special. Sometimes it’s not about the things he buys me (although that’s a bonus and is really nice :p) but it’s the little things like how he packs my bag in the morning with snacks before work. How he picks me up from work every day. How he’ll be my support through my down days. How he’ll just call me beautiful. It takes time, sacrifices, effort and just putting your ego to one side to make a marriage work. It takes prayer, love and friendship. I guess it’s half your deen for a reason because it isn’t easy. The things you have to go through, the tests and trails that can make or break a marriage. It’s worth fighting for though. Marriage isn’t easy but nothing worth having comes easy. You just have to ask yourself how much do you actually want this marriage. How much do you love one another. Life is full of tests and trails but when you have another person to share and go through it with, it just makes it that little bit easier. Lesson 2: not every marriage is the same so be careful comparing.
