So, with the, announcement of the new AI stuff, I'll be making a carrd and gradually sunsetting both the art blog and the OC blog, those are my two biggest ones and, moving onto other sites cause fuck this shit ass money grubbing scummy fucking site I hope it fucking perishes

I'm, like, extremely saddened cause I know the friends and other randoms that happened across the blogs that had my art on them enjoyed the interactions and I adored it, it kept me wanting to pull myself out of a funk I've had towards my art for like months now, but with just this uproar of tech bros basically looking at artists and saying we don't matter, has snuffed out quite a lot for me, and as someone who's working on a universe its starting to feel pointless now

I have to draw a lot of gold and metal for my work, but wasn't happy with any of the metal tutorials i could find around. I prefer really specific instruction, so after some research i put together what i think works as a generalist's guide/tutorial. Not perfectly accurate, but i hope it's helpful!

I have no idea man. I’m not really good at drawing human feet yet, so monkey feet are a whole separate ball park. They’re basically just monkey hands but longer.

The first time I drew the monkey characters I just drew them with human feet since I couldn’t be bothered to learn monkey feet anatomy, until I realized that was very lazy of me. So, I learned it. Again, it’s difficult for me to explain since I have the kind of brain where I just look at something and draw it, no thoughts.

A practice I did of Mac for his body type (I’m struggling really hard with how to build him) where I gave him my own style of blocky monkey feet

all my advice about using real athletes to learn drawing bodies beyond hard abs, and my particular pref being wrestlers, also applies to women btw. you can draw women who r strong and not an hourglass shape. fucking do it.

kris statlander, rhea ripley (look at her SHAPE), willow nightingale, ruby soho, these r just four off the top of my head that have obvious musculature and different body types. skye blue and julia hart have more slim cheerleader style bodies as well, i REALLY wanted to put emi sakura who is fucking STOUT (adoring) in this post but i couldn't find a good demonstrative pic, the list goes on
