i haven't forgotten about your hilarious live commentary btw, i don't have time to screenshot all that but soon, babe. soon.
so, i'm not qualified in the slightest to give writing advice, but the most important thing to me is writing down all my ideas, every single thigh i want to happen in semi chronological order, then when they're all on a document you can arrange them in actual chronological order
then you'll see what you need to remove or add, and you flesh it out from there
also, really, really important, sometimes we want certain event to happen but it just doesn't fit the story and we try to fit it forcefully and we get stuck, so if something doesn't work, put it in another document and save it for another chapter or another fic
i had to dig deep to find this post but someone asked me for writing advice and while i would encourage you to ask another more experienced writer for tips, here's what i have to say
