“Been here a million times
You won't apologize
Fucked up my state of mind
Playing bullet proof
That's when I realized
Maybe you, maybe you
Got nothing left to lose”

Confession.
I wish I would have healed all of my childhood trauma before having kids so they had a perfectly healed mother who wasn’t trying to heal while raising precious babies.

Caskets, man🤘🏼
“I know I still speak to you in my sleep
I'm aware that you're gone, but still it cuts deep
I'll see you again with my own two eyes
As I cross my heart and hope not to die
Can you hear my voice as you fall asleep?”

“Will we break or we bend
Just to lose it in the end
We're too old to play pretend
Should I go or should I stay
Will we ever be okay
Or am I just getting in your way”

This is no lie. I have no friends anymore...
Guys...I'm pregnant! *every friend you've ever had replaces themselves with a cardboard cut out and then slowly backs away*

Before you, my little one.
Before you existed, I wasn't supposed to have children. The doctors reminded me time and time again, just like an annoying alarm clock. They even reminded your daddy, breaking his heart. See, daddy didn't want babies, or so he thought before he met me. When the doctor told him after going with me when we thought I was pregnant the first time, he finally accepted the fact we wouldn't have you. We were both upset but we accepted our fate. Little did we know, 3 months later I would wake up throwing up. Yes I drank the night before, but never in my life had I thrown up from getting drunk... time went on and I was in college working to be a Medical Assistant. We made way into a urinalysis unit and we were testing our own urine samples. We did strip testing, ph testing, and we also did pregnancy testing, all because we would have to perform these tasks in the real world. Of course I was the first person to do my testing and I honestly hadn't even thought about my cycle being 11 days late. That was pretty much all due to the doctor completely crushing my dreams. 5 minutes passed and I picking up the final test I was waiting on. I was on my way to throw it away when I saw it. A second line. Though it was VERY faint, it was there. My instructor confirmed it, along with another instructor and the entire class erupted into cheers and tears. I couldn't think straight and I just cried and cried. Not bad tears, but the kind of tears that come when you are so over joyed that you don't know what to do. I left school shortly after and went home. Your daddy was in his office on the computer when I walked in. I told him I had something to show him and held out my hand. He didn't get what he was looking at until I told him I was pregnant and it wasn't a joke. I called your nana, told her she needed to come over as soon as she could. Once she got there I made her close her eyes and hold out her hand. I put it in her hand and once she opened her eyes, she screamed with joy. Now that was before nanas bad accident. We went to get another test and as soon as I peed on it, a dark pink line showed up. Confirmed again. We were so excited. Daddy didn't feel like it was real until we heard your little heart beating away in your first ultrasound. I was 9 weeks along with you then. It was the most amazing feeling, carrying my very own little baby. I hated being pregnant because of the complications. I was more than joyed when you came out 8 lbs 7 oz and 20.5 inches tall. You were healthy. You were perfect. You were my entire world. Everything changed for me and daddy at 2:20 am October 12th of 2016.
