thoughts on le sserafim's coachella performance

Antifragile - (ANTI-TI-TI-TI FRAGILE, FRAGILE) still an absolute banger, those mics are definitely on (NOW, YOU KNOW MY NAME)

Fearless - I thought this would be the opener, yunjin is such a star

The Great Mermaid - (I DON'T GIVE YOU WHAT YOU NEED) i was so excited when i realized they were playing this, one of their best b-sides, perfect for the moment (DIVE INTO THE OCEAN)

Hot and Fun - interesting choice to play an unreleased track, sounds fun, I liked that they gave the dancers a moment but am confused why they were on the ground for most of it

Unforgiven - haven’t thought of this song since it came out

Eve, Psyche & the Bluebeard’s wife - it took me a moment to realize the reason it sounded off is because they were singing the English version, i still love Eunche’s part with the apple, and then an almost collision, sad we didn’t get to see the part where Sakura comes though the middle to center (felt like it could have been her stand out moment)

Interlude - nice.

Perfect night - cute lead in to a cute song

Smart - no comment

Easy - easily their best title track after anti fragile, kazhua's stand out moment for me

Fire in the Belly - never really got into this but it was a nice ending

Other thoughts

all the girls are great but Yunjin and Chaewon were such standouts across the board

they should have had a stronger backtrack

wish we would have heard No Celestial or Blue Flame

Again, did not love the outfits. it was better after the outfit change but still not great

thoughts on ateez's coachella performance

say my name - makes sense as an opener but its just not my favorite song, mingi doing that move in the blue velvet suit is iconic

hala hala - hongjoong, the man you are, mingi scream (looking forward to hearing it again in guerrilla)

guerrilla - (HEY COACHELLA, MAKE A MOVE)

crazy form - (GET UP) i thought that bc of the intro/the popularity/the recency of the song, this was going to be the opener, jail for not letting me see hongjoong’s solo (WE GO UP)

rocky - who’s that?

the real - HUMBLE :)))))))))))) & :)))))))))) KINDNESS :))))))))))))))))))))))

arriba - the performance and the set (esp. seonghwa, wooyoung, mingi, and hongjoong) really elevates the song (the skrrt skrrt skrrt bothers me way less), also loved that they took a moment to highlight the band, and thank god the camera operators got jongho singing his heart out and then taking that shot

django - yeosang and yunho, get off the counter

bouncy (k-hot chili peppers) - (SLOW IT DOWN MAKE IT BOUNCY) who else could get me to love a song with that fucking chipettes vocal (IF YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW I CAN SHOW YOU RIGHT NOW)

Wonderland - damn, jongho

Other thoughts:

in shock and disbelief that halazia wasn’t on the set list

I knew it was a long shot, but I wished they performed thanxx

they were all obviously great but I think Mingi, Wooyoung and Jongho in particular had multiple really stand out moments

really not a fan of the styling (didn’t really match the vibe for me and we’ve seen better styling for them, some of the members looked kind of...bad), Mingi’s was the only outfit I really loved (the fucking hair!!! his firetruck era finally has some competition), I didn't like Jongho's outfit but i do remember thinking...damn, he looks so fucking good
