Yesterday’s class in the park was amazing!! It was so nice to teach a live class again. I’m super excited that people trusted me to come to a class not knowing me or my style. They kicked butt!! The last two weeks have been a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions due to the deaths happening in my family and in others. One of the biggest take always that I will actually put more into action is: life is too precious to waste on the dumb stuff, waste on people who don’t care, waste on people who don’t truly love you but love what you can do for them, to not go after your dreams, to worry about what Jane, Dick, Harry, and Karen have to say, to not sing to your hearts content, to not do you, to not be you, and to not live your truth. I will and I am living my truth. I will live not only speak about my dreams but I will take actions to bring them into existence. I will love every feature on my face and every crevice of my body. Please help bury my niece…. This weekend my family lost my beautiful great niece Nevaeh to senseless gun violence. I did not get a chance to know her as she had gotten older but I know my awesome niece did her absolute best in raising her. She was only 17 and it angers me that people's first choice in an altercation is to use a gun. Apparently the person was caught but it will not bring her back to us. Introducing my new boo!! What I loved about living in Germany is being able to eat fresh and cook more foods at home. I was introduced to this heavenly machine that basically replaces 22 appliances in the kitchen. I absolutely fell in love. I wasn’t able to bring it back to the states but I found out that they have them here!! So of course I had to buy one!!! I love taking back my power and making things from scratch! Now I can control more of what goes in my foods and my body. Stay tuned to some vids on things I will make in this baby! It’s quick and super easy. April and May were the months that my biggest awakenings happened. When my friends pulled me out of the hole I was in, I was able to see that I could no longer hide the pain that was deep inside me. My smile was no longer a shield. You could see the anguish shining through. It was reflected in my eyes, my body,and my spirit. I never wanted to share these pictures because of it. My light had finally reached a point where it was going to go out. Praise God for the rock that he is and the people he has placed in my life to remind me to reignite the fire inside and to keep pushing through. So now I will share those pictures that I hide in my phone. They are my true before photos. A reminder of where I was and where I am going. I am loving myself not only by what I say but what I do, what I eat, and how I treat others. Don’t give up the fight! Learning to live and love life has ups and downs. Every experience is a lesson to make you stronger and wiser. Don’t allow it to break you down. Recognize the signs and begin to make right turns in life. The road can be tough but you can do it.
