Hi friends! Haven’t posted in a WHILE but PLEASE check out this awesome multi-artist lyric comic I was a part of! Everyone did SUCH an incredible job, I’m in awe. ❤️

And here it is at last! The Gravity Falls Multi-Artist Lyric Comic tribute to the Stan Twins, "Trouble"!

Stay tuned, as @stariousfalls is working on making all of this into a video version. That will be coming along in the next few weeks!

And of course, Happy Birthday to Dipper and Mabel! (Even if this project was Grunkles-centric, Stan and Ford's stories wouldn't have come to such a heart-warming resolution if it wasn't for their niblings. Credit where it's due!)

I don’t remember if I’ve ever introduced these pals on tumblr dot com, but their names are Hunter (left) and Asterisk (right). Read about them below the cut, and/or check out my storyboards of how they met!

Hunter is a surly teen whose parents dislike him for being trans. He was assigned female at birth and now knows himself to be definitely not female, but is still figuring himself out. He prefers he / they pronouns!

Asterisk is a spunky, endlessly curious alien that Hunter meets in the woods when what they thought was a wishing star turns out to be a meteor. She has no concept of gender on her planet, and as such is fine with any and all pronouns! Hunter is both in awe of her and irritated by her for her nonchalance about it all, and thus they become unlikely friends.

The 2nd ever colored, full-body art I’ve done of my beloved D&D character, Oatmeal <3 The first art I did of them can be found here. Also, I made a playlist for them! Their full backstory is under the cut!

Oatmeal is a 4′4″ non-binary aarakocra (or bird-person) who was forced to evacuate their treetop village tribe when a band of sorcerers attacked seemingly out of nowhere. Strange magical light and heat warped the very air in a way they'd never seen as homes caught fire and a peaceful people were forced to war. Oatmeal and their best friend ran to the edge of the elevated village, but were stopped as they encountered the leader of said attack - a tall & thin Elven man with a shimmering robe, who held a calm but cold gaze that is burned into Oatmeal's memory. The elf cast a spell but Oatmeal's friend sacrificed themself - and was instantly transformed into a little "drinking bird" toy! Scooping their now-mostly-inanimate friend up and into their pouch, Oatmeal dove off the side of the ledge and glided down the mountain. Oatmeal is now forced to fend for themself on the streets, and as such they have become pretty good at stealing small morsels from merchants, sneaking around and picking locks in order to survive. They never stay in one place for very long. They have a STRONG aversion to magic, or at least any kind that has the potential to cause harm (but their ptsd can even be triggered by certain spells that generate light / heat similar to their experience on that day). While they don't know a lot about other cultures having grown up isolated in one village, they have had to learn how to stay alive and as such have learned some general street smarts. They are very wise & perceptive to their surroundings, as well as able to read people fairly well to tell if they're trustworthy (or not), but they have bad social skills and a VERY hard time opening up, making friends, or trusting anyone (ESPECIALLY sorcerers). They are very no-nonsense and don't have much of a sense of humor or patience for fooling around, and are quite a good shot with a bow & arrow. Oatmeal's entire mission is to break the curse on their best friend, who currently exists as a small drinking bird toy. They don't care how they have to arrive at that end, and though they don't WANT to hurt anyone in the process, if they had to, they would - at least they think so. They also want to find out what became of their people, but are basically unable to return to their village without help, as they cannot yet fly. Their best friend can fly, but Oatmeal was still in the process of learning when the attack happened in their adolescence. Now, about 3 years later, they are an adult aarakocra (but just barely). They are tired and worn and traumatized, but their quest is born of deep loyalty and love. Their "outer shell" is certainly a hard one, but given the right circumstances, they may open up just the tiniest bit...

Also was this post created with me in mind specifically or something because THIS IS THE DREAM

I would like to officially announce that I am going to start a new pirate ship crew where we don’t kill or steal, we just sort of sail around looking for dolphins and mermaids. We still have weapons though but just for the aesthetic, and at night we’re going to sit around singing pirate songs, gushing about the stars and talking about our feelings so we can emotionally support each other!

The short answer here is that I don’t make any promises on art requests anymore- I have a full time job and only do other art in my extra time, so to guarantee art from me you’d need to commission me. (No I haven’t ever posted prices for that sort of thing, but anyone is free to ask at any time haha!).

That being said!! I DO want to draw more Varian and Tangled things, so you can absoLUTELY feel free to run any ideas by me, and if I like it / am feeling it / have motivation, I MIGHT draw it! This is NOT a guarantee, so please don’t bug me repeatedly about it, but I do love sharing ideas with people and getting excited about stories and characters!

Also, the less complicated the idea is, the higher the chance of me drawing it (but even a simple idea still is not guaranteed to be drawn).

TL;DR - Anyone can send me ideas and I might draw them if the mood strikes me, but don’t get your hopes up, haha!
