Long time no post! I took a spin down to Glenstal Abbey in Murroe, Limerick today.
It's a beautiful visit. The grounds are so well maintained! The abbey itself was once a castle and is now home to a community of Benedictine monks. You're free to walk through the grounds and attend services when they're on. Just a very peaceful and well-looked after spot, perfect for summer walks!

Finally visited the Artbox Cafe! 💖
I wanted to go so badly when it was Pusheen themed but never got the chance. 🥲 Hello Kitty and Friends is the next best thing though!
It's always impressive when the food in themed cafes not only looks good but tastes good too, and this one delivered! The bagel was actually just divine.

A beautiful little village, I'm actually obsessed. It's one of the oldest settlements in East Sussex. Beautiful architecture, quirky shops, and a lovely cup of coffee!

Wilmington ⛪
The Yew tree beside the church here is over 1600 years old. It's incredible! When you're hit with a number like that it's just impossible to fathom it. I'd love to know the things that tree has seen.

Osaka ❤️
What an incredible city! There's SO much to do here, it warrants a holiday all in itself. Other than exploring the various cafes and pop culture shops we had our eyes on, in the evening we attended a local Osaka street food tour which was just phenomenal. I'm going to miss Japan so much, but another visit is absolutely in our future. It's been magic. ❤️

We landed in Osaka today and visited our fifth Pokémon center - Osaka DX! The three bird mascot statues look fantastic at the front of the store. This visit was special - we managed to get into the Osaka Pokémon Center cafe!! It's been a dream of mine for so long to visit a Pokémon Cafe so I was just so delighted to get in. ❤️
I had seen pictures of the menu items before but to see them in person was just another level of cool. The presentation was just so cute, and the food tasted so good too!! We got EXTREMELY lucky and even got in to see a Pikachu show which was just the cutest thing ever. What an amazing send-off to our trip from my nerdy Pokémon heart. 🥲

Kiyomizu ❤️
What an incredible spot captured in the sunset. It was REALLY busy here, but it's understandable as it's just so stunning, like stepping back in time. From the temple, you can see the entire skyline of Kyoto and the mountains beyond.
