Just a thought for all our fabulous Meta writers - Muriel is not dim or naive, she actually is an Archangel known for:
The Angel of Emotions
As the “Angel of Emotions,” Muriel plays a crucial role in guiding individuals through the complex landscape of their feelings.
She is believed to provide support during emotional upheavals, offering a sense of calm and clarity in navigating life’s emotional storms.
Muriel’s presence is a source of comfort during times of sorrow, heartache, and joy alike, helping people to embrace and understand the full spectrum of their emotional experiences. Her guidance is seen as essential in achieving emotional balance and well-being.
*******
Angel Muriel: The Celestial Protector of Emotions and Grace
In the world of angelic beings, where each entity brings forth unique vibrations and lessons, Angel Muriel holds a special place in many hearts and minds. Often referred to as the 'Angel of Emotions' and 'Guardian of Grace', Muriel's essence has been sought by many who find themselves in emotional turmoil or at significant crossroads in life. But, beyond these designations, who is Angel Muriel, and how does she influence the fabric of our existence? Let's embark on a journey of discovery, understanding the core attributes, significance, and gifts of this incredible angelic force
********************
So….. did Muriel have her mind wiped by the Metashit? If so, does this mean anything in Neil’s Wonderful World of S3 mishegas? We know Neil builds his own beautifully complex worlds which don’t always align with commonly accepted theory. So much to ponder as we await S3.

The WGA AWARDS Ceremony will take place April 14, 2024. It saddens me that Good Omens did not make the Final Cut. While I personally am still devastated by the last 15 of S2 Ep6, I recognize the complexity and craftsmanship which went into each of the episodes and minisodes. This is brilliant writing. A bit like hitting a golf ball in California and aiming to get it through the window of a moving train in Florida.
Unfortunately, there was almost no support here in the US from Amazon Prime for Good Omens and I’m completely flummoxed by that. This is not only one of their most popular series, it’s one of the most acclaimed. Good Omens deserves recognition. And I hope Mr. Gaiman submitted episodes for the 2024 Humanitas Prize.
Good Omens is rightfully collecting several well earned awards in England. I’m sorry the Colonies continue to disappoint in this area.

Aziraphale was either backed into a corner, is protecting his Beloved Demon the best he can within his current circumstances, loves Crowley with all that he is and is just as heartbroken as Crowley in the last 15. Heaven has no idea who they’re so willfully bringing into their midst. Aziraphale is soft * by choice - not design*.

Wanted to submit a good take for once 😂
OOH! We love this! Thank you!

Reblogging to boost.
Not quite a question- Today the WGA opened submissions for the prestigious Humanitas Prize, to be presented at the WGA Awards Ceremony on April 14, 2024.
The Mission Statement of Humanitas is:
Humanitas honors and explores film and television writers whose work explores the human condition in a nuanced, meaningful way.
Please submit GO S2 for consideration. GO in all its forms asks the hard questions of what it means to be a human being. It explores, in a meaningful and engaging way, human beings making their choices in how to move through this world and their lives.
GO S2 DESERVES consideration. As you know, Writer’s can self submit. Deadline for submission is April 1, 2024.
LIVE DANGEROUSLY- Please submit GO S2 for the 2023 Humanitas Prize.
It looks to me from the rules as if I can't submit the whole season, I have to submit one episode. If (or Amazon) did submit an episode, which one should it be?

Yesterday was a bad writing day. I spent a lot of time staring at a screen. Lots of Tumblr replies. Lots of Twitter (the Netflix Sandman trailer going out didn’t help). Lots of being grumpy at myself and convinced I couldn’t do it any more. The script was a mess. I was doomed. This morning I printed out what I had to fix, picked up a pen, made a few notes and started typing. It was fun and easy and straightforward. I finished it and sent it to the people who needed to see it, and just got an amazed call from our script editor saying she was laughing while crying and couldn’t work out how I’d done everything in a day.
And I hadn’t done it all in a day. All of the being miserable yesterday was necessary for it to fly today. All of the knowing it was insoluble and awful made the work today relatively easy. I had to get out of my own way, and had to read it freshly, without being attached to anything. And then I just did the notes. And to make the thing that worked today, a lot of stuff that didn’t quite work or sort of worked had to be written too. It’s always easier to fix stuff that exists.
Anyway. Yesterday = bad writing day. Today = good writing day. I thought it was worth telling people, in case there was anyone else out there who was having a bad writing day too.

I SPOKE TO THE HUMANITAS OFFICE DIRECTLY TODAY - @neil-gaiman you can submit TWO episodes from S2. They need to be submitted SEPARATELY. On separate applications. There’s space on the application to give context as to what happens in the story before the submitted episodes and after.
No guarantee the two episodes will be considered as a unit, but having TWO EPISODES OF GO S2, submitted for consideration will up its chances to be seriously considered.
Good Omens, in all its forms, showcases the very essence of what the Humanitas Prize is about. The Human Condition. The choices we make and the consequences and triumphs of those extremely complex decisions.
NEIL - You, as a writer CAN SUBMIT THE EPISODES YOURSELF- YOU DON’T NEED AMAZON TO BE INVOLVED.

good omens but i've never watched it
i've never seen good omens but it's all over my tumblr dash so this is what I've gathered can someone please confirm if i've got it right
there's a demon named crowley
there's a biblically inaccurate angel named aziraphale but like it's very sexy when the demon calls him 'angel'
the demon and angel have been married for 6000 years and they still keep looking at each other all sappily
Neil Gaiman is somehow involved, I think he's the writer but also he's on tumblr (uh, @neil-gaiman) and people keep questioning if he's real
is neil gaiman like a fandom inside joke why is everyone asking if he's real
there actors are called michael and david and amazon prime thought they were the same
there is a bookstore and crowley is sad
they kiss and it is very nice and desperate and crowley says we could have been us. i have no context for this. someone is going to heaven i think.
there is a god, i'm not sure if they're good or evil though
the demon wears sunglasses
it's a comedy but for some reason everyone's crying after whatever the last season was, are you guys okay
things are on fire
they are very gay
there was a book and at one point they switch bodies
more fire and crowley screaming
they are called ineffable husbands i dont know what that means
they fight crime or they do crime or they fight crime by doing crime i really cannot remember which
gay

2024: Call for new fandoms!
Hey everyone! Ahead of the signup window for FTH 2024 we wanted to try to get a feel for new fandoms since last year.
We've seen a handful of new things cross our dashes in the last year, but aren't sure how widely popular they are, and there will be other things that have huge followings that we don't intersect with and thus don't have a feel for them.
While you can write in any fandom you want, we try to put the most common 100 or so fandoms on our drop-down list every year, and of course that is ever-changing.
We know of a few new fandoms that popped up in 2023, but we need your help to round out the list. Reply or reblog this post to suggest fandoms for our list that are new in 2023. We’re mostly looking for brand-new-in-the-past-year fandoms, but if there’s an older one that just got an influx of new fans (maybe due to a new adaptation etc), check out tags from last year and feel free to suggest it if it’s not already on our radar.

Tilda Swinton risked arrest waving a rainbow flag in front of the Kremlin in violation of Russia’s new homosexual propaganda bill. And she wants everyone who can to reblog it in solidarity.
Guys please reblog this, it won’t ruin your blog, this is important

This arrived today and I’m hopeful it will help push back the levees on the reservoir of ‘not good enough’, ‘all my fic is crap’, ‘why did I think I could write fic?!’ Thank you #holycatsandrabbits for letting me know this book existed. Looking forward to reading your essay. And to maybe writing some Good Omens fic I feel good enough to post.

Saying a huge thank you to all members of the WGA and to our most important allies, who have supported this very long and painful strike. We’re almost home. As a Good Omens fan, I want to personally thank Mr. Neil Gaiman for being so visible and eloquent on the strike line about what the AMPTP needed to address in this contract negotiation. Thank you, sir.

Hello Mr Neil
What were you thinking on making episode 6 season 2 of Good Omens? And do you like making us suffer.
I was thinking that that was what happened next in the story.
And if by suffer you mean “care” then yes. I want people to care.

Mr. Gaiman, Sorry to bother. Framing as a question. Would you like the embedded url from the WGA ‘Writer’s On The Line’ email (which is different than the one you found and has different info including more donated items up for auction. No idea why) ?
In case your answer is ok, uh yeah.
https://www.wgaragesale.org/auction-items
So many say thank you for your time and kind consideration of my (probably bothersome) question. I know I do.
One other question- did you know the number of scripted filming permits asked for and okayed in Los Angeles has reached - zero?
In solidarity.
Absolutely!

Hello Mr Gaiman - are you aware of the WGARAGE charity auction kicking off on June 30th to help Striking Writer’s in financial need? Most of what’s being auctioned are Writer’s personal memorabilia. If not, please refer to todays (I’m in LA so it’s almost 3:30pm Thursday) WGA daily ‘Writer’s On The Line’ email for details. Forgive me if you’ve already donated to this cause, or if you’re aware and have chosen not to participate. I apologize for putting this question on this platform. I have no other avenue available to ask. Thank you for your kind consideration of my question.
I hadn't heard about it (perhaps because I'm WGAe instead of WGAw) but found it over at
And I'll see if I have anything donatable from any shows.
