Ra's met Talia's mother at woodstock. She was killed by a someone who was lurking near the lazarus pits (something others not allowed to do) and pushed her into the lazarus pit in panic and the pit's acids melted her or smth. Talia was extremely young back then and saw her mother get killed.
It's not that hard to do a google search before talking about stuff you have no clue about with a sense of entitlement and talking about punching someone for saying something YOU weren't aware of..
Talia and Ras are characters to be handles very delicately or you might enter the racist side of the fandom despite not knowing. I think it's not very safe to make assumptions about these complex characters, because they are evil but people blend them into 2D racist stereotypes. Which isn't good because. well. it's racist.
Contrary to popular belief Ra's al ghul isn't osama bin laden!
He has cried and killed over his PETS. Damian's love for animals was started by the al ghuls who want to save the planet and it's endangered species. They're like poison ivy but for animals idk 😭😭 Ra's literally thinks of Bruce as a son too. The al ghuls relationship with the family is extremely complicated and it's valid to not understand that!! BUT it's not valid to demonize them and feed into assumptions that could be cleared with a GOOGLE SEARCH.
I think it's a bit hypocritical to be so defensive of Damian's skin color but not his culture and heritage, along with demonizing the said heritage. The white savior trope isn't cute sis.

Been reading the asks you’ve been getting and anon lowkey right. Comic book fans already have a hard time enough, the least you could do is not diss the al ghuls or literally attack fans for saying something on which they were actually right and you were wrong so now you’re saying you wanna… punch someone who just pointed out a fact?
It’s not stupid to want people to form takes based on intimate knowledge of the character the take is on. If you wanna engage in fandom like and say art is pretty or something, don’t attack people. 🙁

Hey I saw ur tags on the post about unwhitewashing Damian and I'm here to clarify why OP said he's only 1/4 arab- he's also a quarter Chinese since Talia is mixed. I'm kinda new to tumbkr and idk how to respond to tags. So
oh!! thank you so much for this, actually. i kinda forget a lot about talia (mostly on purpose) so i assumed that she, like ra’s, was full arab because i just think of her as a ra’s clone. that makes a lot more sense now that i think about it, but it means that people are still stealing damian’s melanin :(

Y’all I need more fanfiction of Tim Drake reversing time and saving Jason from dying, thus kinda erasing himself from the bats’ lives.
He finds Cass and Damian years earlier. Steph’s dad goes to jail and a secret someone keeps sending money for her mom’s rehab. Damian, now 6-7 years of age, still has a somewhat childish glow that comes back out after some ample time with Dick and Bruce.
Tim is fine. He is okay. He is living off coffee and decades of spite and he is totally cool with staying in an empty house and being under his parents’ thumbs for the rest of his life.
Fast forward, the bats remember. Either Jason still gets dunked into a pit and remembers, doing things to get the others to remember, Tim almost dies and they get their memories back right before he comes back, or they get used to his presence so much that they start to remember. The last one would be where he’s ether another vigilante, or an Oracle type.
Needless to say the bats are not happy.
I cannot for the life of me find fics like this! I found a one shot series, but that’s as far as I got.

There is no definition of genocide that describes what Palestinians in Gaza are currently suffering, unless you believe Ukraine was committing a genocide of Russians in Donbas or that World War II was a genocide against Germans.
The word you’re looking for is “war”.
As it stands, there is only one motivation, besides emotional manipulation through hyperbole, that explains this misuse of “genocide”: that is, to minimize cynically what Jews have experienced repeatedly in our history. Holocaust inversion is Holocaust minimization. Genocide inversion is genocide minimization. If you have be referring to this conflict as a “genocide”, I can only conclude it is because you finally have the opportunity you’ve always waited for to engage safely in Holocaust denial.
