It was early afternoon and you and your best friend, Jungkook, were at your place sitting on the couch watching a movie together. The film of choice was a vampire movie—one of your favorites. Your eyes were glued to the screen, knowing exactly what was about to happen, as the both of you had seen the movie roughly a hundred times.
Someone (a vampire) was about to jump out at the main character, you both saw it coming. At the same moment the person jumped out in the film, Jungkook grabbed you and shouted loudly causing you to yelp in response.
The force from his sudden and lighthearted attack caused you to fall over onto your back, thankful that you were on the couch.
Jungkook hovered over you with a mischievous grin, giving you no time to react as he pretended to bite your neck by making playful growling sounds and nuzzling his nose against your skin.
"Jungkook stop!" You begged through giggles, the ticklish sensation making it hard to speak.
"I'm a vampire!" He exclaimed, continuing to act silly.
You were laughing so hard you could hardly breathe, making minimal effort to stop him due to all your squirming. After a few attempts, you were finally able to push him away a little. He took that as a sign to stop and propped himself up to gaze down at you, the movie long forgotten.
"What would you do if I was actually a vampire?" He asked, his tone lighthearted.
"Hypothetically?"
"Of course."
You huffed out a light chuckle, amused by his question and always up for a little theoretical discussion about things like that.
"I wouldn't care. Vampires are literally my favorite supernatural creature. Plus, it's you. I know you wouldn't hurt me."
He grinned.
"But vampires aren't real, so I know you're not one."
His smile faltered a bit. "Yeah. They're not, are they?"
"But if they were, I wouldn't be bothered."
His smile returned.
He leaned down and gave you a light kiss on your forehead. Affectionate gestures like that weren't uncommon in your friendship, however, they didn't help your crush on Jungkook. As much as you had wanted to confess your feelings, you were also afraid that you were misinterpreting the gestures. Some people are just very affectionate, though you couldn't really recall anyone you knew that platonically kissed their friends.
"Do you like me or something?" The question was asked teasingly and in a playful manner, but you were hoping to get a serious response.
"What?" He asked, surprise lacing his tone.
"Well, you're always giving me little kisses on my face. Do you like me?" You tried to keep your tone light, playing it off as if you were just teasing him.
His expression changed and his eyes avoided yours. "Well..." He trailed off.
The mood shifted, turning more serious.
"Don't be afraid to be honest with me, Jungkook. We've known each other for three years." You encouraged him.
"Yes." He sighed, his eyes closing as if to avoid seeing your reaction.
"I knew it!"
"Y/n, don't embarrass me about it." He huffed.
"Why should you feel embarrassed? I feel the same way about you."
"You feel the same way?"
"Was it not obvious? I let you give me kisses all the time and cuddle with me. I don't ever push you away or tell you to stop. Could you not take a hint?"
"No?" He said it like a question.
"You big goober." You giggled and delivered a light smack to his shoulder.
"I'm not a goober." He defended through laughter. "I just wasn't sure how you felt. That's all."
Your joint laughter soon faded and the room went completely silent, the atmosphere changing in a matter of seconds. Jungkook stared down at you with his big and innocent-looking doe eyes that never failed to make your heart leap. He gulped nervously.
"Can I kiss you?" He asked.
"You kiss me all the ti-"
"On the lips." He specified.
The beating of your heart sped up at his request, only managing to utter a meek, "Yeah."
He leaned down and pressed his lips against yours. He kissed you softly, being very gentle and almost hesitant in his actions at first. Only when you reciprocated did he pick up the pace, pressing his lips closer to yours and kissing you harder. What you were experiencing in that moment was nothing like you had ever imagined (and you did imagine it... many times). Raven strands of Jungkook's lengthy hair caressed your forehead as they fell, untucking themselves from behind his heavily pierced ears. The faint ticklish sensation paired with the feeling of his lips moving against your own and his hand that had found its way to your waist was a combination that made your head spin.
Bringing your hands up to his luscious hair, you slid your fingers between the layers of wavy tendrils, playing with his locks. He seemed to like that, as he released a mix between a groan and a sigh against your lips that had butterflies erupting in your stomach. It was after that he began to get rougher. His hands gripped your waist and then one of your thighs, squeezing so hard it almost hurt. The pace of his breathing got heavier and you could've sworn you heard a faint growl from the back of his throat.
He pulled away for only a moment, reattaching his lips to your jawline, his piercing dragging against your skin making your eyelids flutter. He placed hot kisses down the side of your neck where he started nipping at the sensitive skin. His hands went back to squeezing your waist, the inhuman grip making you wince.
As much as you enjoyed the moment, it was now getting to a point where it was no longer enjoyable for you and his intensity was making you nervous.
"J-Jungkook." You didn't mean to stutter, but things were heating up very fast and he didn't seem to realize how uncomfortable you were.
He nipped harshly at your neck, making you release a small squeak of surprise.
"Jungkook!"
As if your voice had broke through an invisible barrier, Jungkook snapped out of his daze and pulled away. He was breathing so heavily his shoulders were heaving up and down. His eyes were wide with fear as if he realized he was about to do something terrible.
He looked scared.
"What was that all about?" You inquired.
"I-I have to go." He scrambled off you and went to grab his keys.
"Jungkook-"
"I need to go right now, Y/n." His voice was firm as he spoke, walking out of your apartment without another word or even an explanation.
You sat there dumbfounded.
The door to your apartment slammed shut and just like that, you were left a confused and flustered mess on the couch.
He was in such a hurry to leave, barely managing to speak without stumbling over his words, it had you worried.
Was it something you did? Did he regret kissing you?
The longer you sat on the couch, stewing in your anxious thoughts, the worse you felt. It got to a point where it became unbearable and you found yourself reaching for your phone.
You
If I did something wrong, I'm sorry
You sighed, leaning your head back on the couch cushions to stare at the ceiling, memorizing the texture while worrisome thoughts flooded your mind once again.
After sitting for an unknown amount of time, you decided to go check on Jungkook in person. He hadn't responded to your text and it was beginning to worry you. If you had somehow done something to make him uncomfortable, you wanted to know and you wanted it taken care of right away. The both of you had been through thick and thin together. Good times and bad times. And if something was bothering either one of you, you talked about it.
The first place you drove to was a nearby park, a place where the both of you liked spending time at, but Jungkook was nowhere to be found. If he needed to clear his head, you assumed he would've been there. The only other place he could possibly be was home.
It didn't take long for you to arrive at his apartment building since he lived nearby. You hastened inside and went straight to his floor.
When you arrived at his front door, you didn't bother knocking. The both of you had been friends for years and neither of you usually knocked when you visited each other.
You stepped inside and saw Jungkook's keys lying on the floor along with the glass dish that usually held them. The bowl looked as if it had been knocked over and a huge piece was broken off of it.
Oh no.
Your first thought was that he was hurt, or maybe someone had broken in. You hoped it was neither.
"Jungkook?" You called out.
"Y/n?" His startled voice came from the kitchen.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." He answered frantically.
"The glass dish by your door is broken. I thought you cut yourself."
"No. I'm fine."
You proceeded towards the kitchen, only for him to speak up when he heard you approaching the entryway.
"Don't come in here!"
"Why not?"
"I-uh I lied. I did cut myself. Sorry. I didn't want you to worry about me."
"I can help if you want." You responded, stepping into the kitchen.
"No please don-" Jungkook tried to stop you, but before he could finish his sentence, you were already standing in the doorway.
What you had expected to see was nowhere near the sight you were met with.
Jungkook's beautiful and captivating rich brown eyes were a deep shade of red, his mouth smeared with blood that matched his crimson irises. As if that wasn't jarring enough, you spotted two sharp fangs poking out of his mouth, which hung slightly agape in shock.
"Y/n. Don't freak out."
"You're a..." The sentence went unfinished, as your voice was stuck in your throat. You were too stunned to even utter the word that floated about in your head.
"Please don't be scared."
Jungkook took a step towards you, but you instinctively took one back, your actions making him frown.
Too overwhelmed, you spun around and took off towards the front door, jerking it open and bolting out as fast as you could.
You didn't get very far when your legs slowed and you came to a complete stop in the hallway as your rational thinking finally kicked in. What were you doing?
Jungkook's words from earlier that night replayed in your head.
"What would you do if I was actually a vampire?"
Your expression fell into one of disappointment, your heart sinking. It wasn't just a silly question. He was being serious when he asked you that.
Your words came to the forefront of your mind, hitting you like a knife to the chest.
"I wouldn't care. Vampires are literally my favorite supernatural creature. Plus, it's you. I know you wouldn't hurt me."
Why were you running away? What you said to him earlier was true, though you assumed the question was theoretical. Still, your answer was genuine. And yet, here you are standing in the hallway of his apartment building ready to flee like a scared animal.
Not only that, but it was clear Jungkook didn't want you to see him like that. He tried to stop you from coming into the kitchen and yet, you ignored him. If only you had listened. Then again, you thought he was hurt. You were worried. How were you supposed to know he was only trying to hide his identity from you?
There was no time for overthinking, you had to make things right.
Spinning around on your heel, you hurried back inside Jungkook's apartment.
When you found him, he was leaned over the kitchen counter, sniffling. His head shot up when he heard you enter the room.
"Y/n?" Your name was uttered weakly.
Clearly, he wasn't expecting you to return.
The blood had been cleaned from around his mouth and his appearance had returned to normal.
"I'm sorry." Your apology came out in a pathetically feeble voice, your jaw clenching to stop the tears that threatened to well up in your eyes.
Wasting no time, you ran up and hugged him as tightly as you possibly could. He wrapped his arms around you, relaxing in your hold as a sense of relief washed over him like a soothing wave.
"You asked me what I would think if you were actually a vampire. I answered honestly, though I thought you were just asking silly hypothetical questions. Now I see why you asked it in the first place." You sighed. "I'm really sorry for running away. I was caught off guard and unable to process everything."
"It's okay. That's completely understandable. Besides, I shouldn't have kept it a secret from you."
You pulled back and looked at him, gently wiping his cheeks where he had been crying.
"Hey. Through thick and thin. Remember?"
He nodded.
"So... we confessed to each other earlier. Does that mean I'm dating a vampire?"
Jungkook chuckled. "I suppose it does. As long as you're okay with that."
"Are you kidding? I'm more than okay with it."
He grinned at your response, swiftly sweeping you into his arms.
"What do you say we pick up where we left off earlier?"
"I like the sound of that." You giggled as he attached his lips to yours and carried you off to his room.

Jongho wizzed through the air, holding the Quaffle close to him as he zoomed towards the opposing team's hoops, successfully tossing the ball through the goal, scoring yet again for Gryffindor.
"Yes!" You cheered only to quickly clamp your hand over your mouth afterwards, your outburst earning you some glances from your fellow housemates.
Maybe next time you should sit with the Gryffindors—then again, you'd stand out like a sore thumb. It was hard not to cheer for Jongho. He's the best quidditch player on the whole team, watching him is enough to put you on the edge of your seat. Yes, you two are from opposing houses, but you're the best of friends and you don't let old rivalries stop you from hanging out together.
The game came to a close and Gryffindor took the victory as expected. You had to keep your excitement at bay as you exited the stands to meet with your friend on the ground, holding it in long enough to part ways with the rest of your house.
Jongho approached you looking oh-so-handsome as usual, a thin layer of sweat on his face giving him a post-victory glow.
"That was awesome!" You squeaked.
"It was nothing." He huffed.
"Nothing? Every time I watch you play I'm on the edge of my seat. Honestly, there was a couple times I wasn't sure you'd score, but you pulled through every time."
His warm laughter filled the air as his cheeks turned pink, though that could have just been from all the activity out on the field.
"You act like I'm the best player on the team."
"You are!" You said enthusiastically, giving him a light punch on the arm. "We should celebrate your victory."
"By doing what?"
"We could go to Hogsmeade and grab a butterbeer." You suggested. "My treat."
Jongho's eyes lit up.
He loved butterbeer. You could remember the first time he tried it, the fond memory replaying in your head.
"When?"
"Tomorrow."
That heart-melting gummy smile of his broke out on his face as he nodded.
"Sounds good."
You and Jongho had been friends from day one, literally. You met on the train to Hogwarts and he was nervous as ever. He had only just recently found out there was magic in his family lineage and wasn't sure what to expect at Hogwarts as he had only found out it's existence a few weeks prior to the start of he school year.
"I don't know anything about this place and I'm nervous to be away from home for so long."
"There's nothing to be nervous about. You'll have fun, trust me." You told him. "I've been looking forward to this for a whole year. My older cousin told me they have entire feasts at Hogwarts. There's all sorts of food lined up on these really long tables that stretch across almost the entirety of the room."
"Wow. That sounds much better than instant ramen."
"Instant? Muggles have instant ramen?" You asked with wide eyes.
"Oh. It's not instant, it's just made in a shorter amount of time. We don't have magic so we have meals that can be made easily."
"Ooh. How long does it take?"
"Usually about three minutes unless you want to add extra stuff or cook your noodles longer."
"Three minutes is still really quick." You responded. "That's amazing."
"I guess it is." He chuckled.
Jongho thought so-called "muggle" things weren't special. After all, it's just how he goes about daily life, but seeing your reaction was amusing to him.
The both of you became friends very quickly during the duration of the train ride. You even sat together at the sorting hat ceremony, where you briefly explained what would occur.
"I hope we get into the same house together." You remember Jongho saying.
Unfortunately, you got sorted into different houses, you in Slytherin and him in Gryffindor, but that didn't bother you, nor did it stop the both of you from spending time together.
You and Jongho signed up to take a muggle appreciation class together where you paired up with each other since the professor wanted muggles or half-bloods to pair with purebloods. That was one of your favorite classes. You enjoyed learning about how muggles got through everyday life without magic as well as some of the things they had that you didn't, like pens, you found those to be quite fascinating. Your professor had a few and allowed everyone to try them out to see what they thought. You loved the pen and wondered why the school never used them instead of quills.
"You did so good at the game yesterday." You told Jongho.
He smiled, looking down bashfully. "Thanks."
"You're the best quidditch player at Hogwarts." You continued praising him.
Jongho was visibly holding back a bright grin, doing his best to keep it concealed as he fiddled with the packaging of his chocolate frog he purchased from the candy trolley.
"I get so caught up in the game. I'm sure my housemates want to kick me out." You chuckled.
He had seen you cheering him on many times before, even when Slytherin was against Gryffindor. It warmed his heart that you always cheered for him despite being in opposing houses and seeing you in the stands always gave him an energy boost during quidditch games, but he would never say it aloud.
Once you arrived at Hogsmeade, you couldn't contain your excitement, rushing Jongho off the train. He was fairly excited as well, but he wanted to keep his cool, putting on a calm exterior as he followed behind you through the metal archway with the town name on it.
Jongho's eyes glimmered in wonderment as he gazed at all the shops like it was his first time seeing them.
"Here we are." You announced, looking up at the sign for The Three Broomsticks.
Jongho was quick to step ahead of you and hold the door open. It was a small gesture but it made your heart flutter. Stepping inside the tavern, the both of you made your way to the bar, seating yourselves on the wooden stools that lined it. Someone came around shortly and took your orders before grabbing a couple glass steins, filling them with the sweet amber liquid you and Jongho came for.
"Two butterbeers." The barkeep said, setting the glasses down.
You rummaged in your bag and placed enough coins on the tabletop to pay for the beverages.
"Hey." Jongho frowned in disappointment, his hand halfway shoved in his pocket from trying to dig out money to pay himself.
"It's my treat." You smiled, lifting your stein up. "We're celebrating your big win, after all."
Jongho raised his large mug as well, clinking it with yours before taking a few large gulps of the butterscotch-flavored beverage.
Jongho let out an ahh sound, setting his glass down on the bar top. You chuckled softly at the foam that clung to his upper lip which made him look even more adorable than usual.
"What?" He inquired.
"You've got a little something here." You gestured on your own face.
"Oh." He laughed, his ears turning a light shade of pink as he grabbed a napkin and wiped his mouth.
"You got hit pretty hard by that one chaser on Slytherin. I thought you were going to get knocked off your broom. Are you alright?"
Jongho instinctively rubbed his shoulder while thinking back on the moment he got rammed in the side by one of Slytherin's chasers the day before.
"Yeah I'm fine. A little sore, but he didn't hit me that hard. It's nothing I can't handle."
You shook your head and stifled a laugh.
Jongho was a tough cookie and a strong person both mentally and physically, but that didn't stop you from checking up on him.
"So, should we shop while we're here?" You inquired before taking another drink of your butterbeer.
You could see the faintest hint of a smile playing at Jongho's lips. He loved Hogsmeade and always seemed so entranced by what it had to offer. Even after all these years you can still see how mesmerized he is by everything.
"We could... you know since we're in town." He responded.
"Alright. We can go wherever you want."
His face lit up at your offer.
Once your glasses had been emptied and your craving for butterbeer had been satiated, you and Jongho set off into Hogsmeade to browse the shops and see what grabbed your attention.
"Could we go into Spintwitches?" He asked you in an almost unsure manner, but you could tell by the gleam in his eye that he really wanted to go.
"Of course. Like I said, we'll go wherever you want."
As soon as you stepped foot in the sporting goods shop, you could see Jongho's face brighten, his eyes darting to all the different displays inside.
"Check it out." He marveled, scurrying over to one of the brooms on display.
Your eyes moved to the card set up with the name written across it.
"Hogwarts House Broom." You read aloud.
"It's enchanted to display the house colors of the owner." Jongho informed.
"Woah."
"Yeah. It's pretty awesome, isn't it?"
You nodded.
Though you were a pureblood wizard and Jongho was muggle-born, he seemed to have much more knowledge on quidditch than you. He knew anything and everything about types of brooms and what they do, whereas you didn't.
"This one can go up to seventy miles per hour." He pointed. "It's called the Silver Arrow. You see how the broom itself is made to look like an arrow?"
You nodded.
Honestly, you could listen to Jongho talk about brooms all day just to be able to see the enthusiastic expression on his face. Often times you find yourself thinking back on the day you first met him and how nervous he was to be attending Hogwarts. Now, he fits right in.
Jongho continued spouting off facts about each broom while you both perused the store for a few more minutes before deciding to move on.
"Where to next?" He inquired.
"How about Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop?"
He nodded and you both made your way in that direction.
Upon entering the quaint shop, the scent of parchment and ink reached your senses, a content smile settling onto your features. Displayed on the shelves were different quills that ranged in appearance. Some had fluffy, white feathers while others were flat with patterns on them. Your attention was drawn to a stunning peacock quill, the vibrant array of colors piquing your interest.
You had always been drawn to the captivating quill ever since you enrolled at Hogwarts years ago. Though with its flamboyant appearance, you had passed on buying one, not wanting to cause a distraction during class.
"I never really cared for quills." Jongho commented. "They're difficult to use and you have to keep dipping it in ink."
"Yeah, I can't understand why the school would still want to use them when there are things like pens."
"Ah." He chuckled, thinking back on when your professor for muggle appreciation class allowed everyone to try one out. "You were mesmerized by those things."
"How could I not be? They're much more convenient than a quill. You don't have to constantly dip it in ink."
"Stopping to dip your quill in ink seems like a waste of time if you think about how many times you have to do it during one class period." Jongho mentioned.
"Exactly!" You pointed. "I didn't even think about that."
A small laugh of amusement slipped out of Jongho as he shook his head. Seeing you getting fired up about pens versus quills was entertaining to him.
Moving right along, you started browsing the parchment and notebooks stacked on a shelf. One in particular had caught your eye and had you walking over to it, picking it up from the stack. You ran the pads of your fingers over the intricate embossed design in the leather of the notebook, tracing the swirls and curls on the cover. You enjoyed journaling and writing down good and exciting things that have happened to you, even sometimes writing down bad things just to vent your emotions. The pages in the current notebook you owned were only halfway filled, so there was no need to purchase the one you held in your hands, but it sure was pretty. Maybe you'd come back for it later when you needed a new journal.
You proceeded to the next display, perusing the items for a few moments before noticing Jongho's absence. He was standing with you when you first entered the store, but now you weren't sure where he had wandered off to.
After searching the shop for about a minute, you found Jongho looking at an inkwell filled with rainbow ink, turning the small glass jar around in his hand with a confused pout on his pretty lips that had your heart doing front flips.
"Do people actually use this?" He asked once you were close enough to hear him.
"Only for fun or pranks. It's not really suitable for classwork."
"Ah." He placed it back on the shelf. "People here seem to love their jokes. Prank quills, prank socks, a prank shop."
"Yeah." You chuckled. "Some people do. You'd be surprised how good business is at Zonko's."
"Are you ready to go?" Jongho asked, looking to see that you didn't have anything in your hands.
"Yeah. I didn't find anything."
"Alright. Moving on, then."
Your day at Hogsmeade was a lot of fun. You had stayed in town so long that you decided to grab lunch. Unfortunately, you weren't quick enough and Jongho had paid for your meal, which you shyly thanked him for. At the end of the day, you each left town with a bag of sweet treats from Honeydukes and a new piece of clothing from Gladrags. Jongho found a nice jacket and you managed to snag a pair of pants you had your eye on for a while.
"Thanks for taking me out today." Jongho told you on your walk back to the school.
"It was nothing. I wanted to celebrate your big win, plus I needed a day out. Can't be focused on studies all the time."
"Right." He chuckled.
Once inside the castle, the both of you parted ways to head to your respective dormitories, Jongho standing in the hallway for a moment, watching you walk away.
I should have said something. He thought to himself. It would have been the perfect opportunity. He let out a short huff of disappointment.
Maybe next time.
Jongho took a deep breath in an attempt to calm his racing heart. He had gone over everything at least a hundred times.
"Just say what you need to say. It's no big deal."
Gryffindors were supposed to be courageous and brave, but Jongho was currently lacking that trait. He wanted so badly to confess his feelings to you, but all he could think about was the many ways you'd reject him:
"I only see you as a friend."
"I like someone else."
"I'm sorry. I don't feel the same."
"I don't date muggles."
He groaned, throwing his head back in exasperation. It shouldn't be this big of a deal.
If only he had something that could help him out, give him that little boost of courage he needed.
Then, suddenly, a lightbulb went off in his head. A bravery potion. That's it! He knew how to make that. He just learned it a few weeks ago in potions class. Pulling out his cauldron, he went through the ingredients he remembered were used in the concoction, pulling them out and lining them along the desk.
Less than an hour later, he held a glass bottle in his hands, swirling the liquid around inside while examining it. He had never taken a potion before and was a little nervous, but he needed this. He was afraid he wouldn't be able to confess properly unless he had just a little bit of courage.
"I hope this works." He murmured before downing the potion.
You were walking down the hallway when Jongho came around the corner with a little pep in his step. It was evening and classes were over for the day, so you assumed that's why he appeared so chipper.
"There you are, pretty."
Your body stiffened, your heart leaping at the unexpected nickname.
"Pretty?" You whispered under your breath.
As soon as you were within reach, Jongho took hold of your hand and rubbed his thumb affectionately across your knuckles.
"I'm glad I found you. We need to talk."
"We do?" You questioned. "About what?"
"Follow me."
Jongho led you down the stone corridors of the castle until you arrived at a somewhat secluded area of the school that was, for the moment, free of any students or teachers.
"Is everything alright?" You asked, mildly concerned that he needed to discuss something serious with you.
"You're so beautiful." He sighed out, ignoring your question. "Have I ever told you that?"
Your eyes widened as a faint warmth touched your cheeks. "No."
"You are. Y/n, you are so stunning."
What's with the sudden compliments?
Jongho gazed at you dreamily. "You make my heart race every time I'm near you and when I see you in the crowd at quidditch games cheering for me, it makes me feel so giddy I can't even explain it. Sometimes I wish I could run up to you after a successful game and kiss you. I'd lift you off your feet and spin you around just like in the movies."
"Jongho." You uttered in disbelief.
"I love you so much, Y/n."
You could see the look in his eyes and tell by the way he was sputtering all of these confessions that something wasn't right.
"Are you okay?" You asked him.
"I'm fine." He giggled. "Better than ever."
You pressed your lips together in concern, cupping his cheeks to examine him.
"Please kiss me, Y/n."
You gasped softly at the request, your cheeks set ablaze. Oh how you wanted to give in. You wanted so badly to lock lips with him right then and there, but this wasn't right.
"What did you do, Jongho?" You asked.
"My name sounds so nice coming from your mouth, pretty." He sighed out.
"Jongho."
He giggled in response.
"What did you take?"
He reached into his bag and pulled out an empty bottle, handing it to you. You brought it to your nose, sniffing it, the scent of bubblegum reaching your senses.
Babbling Beverage.
"Jongho." You groaned. "What have you done?"
"It's a bravery potion, Y/n. No need to worry." He smiled almost drunkenly.
"This isn't a bravery potion, this is a Babbling Beverage. It makes you speak nonsense."
He scoffed in offense. "I'm not speaking nonsense."
"Come here." You brought him over to the corner of the secluded hallway, so you'd have a little more privacy.
"Are you mad at me?" Jongho asked.
"No, but why did you do it?"
"I wanted to confess to you but I was too scared. Isn't that silly? You told me Gryffindors are brave, and I usually am, but not today." He rested his head against the wall. "I needed something to help me so I brewed a bravery potion—or at least I thought it was."
"You... wanted to confess to me?"
"Yes. I like you so much, Y/n. You're so beautiful and funny and kind and you made me feel so welcomed on that very first train ride to Hogwarts. You were the first friend I ever made."
Your heart swelled with adoration at his words. Though he was under the influence of a potion, his words seemed genuine.
Jongho took his bag off, letting it fall to the ground as he stepped closer to you.
"I want to kiss you so badly." He murmured.
"I'm not sure that's a good ide-" Your sentence went unfinished as he gently took your chin between his thumb and index finger.
Staring into his captivating eyes, you found yourself wanting to give in, your gaze darting down to his pouty lips and imagining how soft they probably felt. Having his face so dangerously close to yours had you wanting to throw caution to the wind.
"Can I?" He asked.
The tone of his voice was so soft yet temping at the same time. Without mulling it over any further, you nodded.
Jongho didn't let another second pass before his lips landed on yours—and yes, they were soft. Right away, you reciprocated his actions, kissing him back with just as much fervor.
His fingers released your chin, moving to the back of your neck to pull you even closer, the action also causing your lips to press further into his. You could feel every dip and curve of his mouth, the sensation making your closed eyelids flutter. Your hands, which had been balled into fists at your sides, latched onto his shoulders, staying there for only a few moments before your fingers slid into his hair. Jongho's arm snaked its way around your waist, pulling your body flush against his. You gasped at his action, noting how strong he was and how tightly he was holding you against him with just one arm.
It was clear Jongho was starting to get comfortable as his kisses got more heated and somewhat sloppy. He began nipping lightly at your bottom lip, letting out quiet sighs when your nails grazed the nape of his neck.
"Keep doing that, pretty." He exhaled against your lips, sending a shiver down your spine and a rush of butterflies to your abdomen.
You boldly grabbed a handful of his hair and gave it an experimental tug, a quiet groan from him vibrating against your lips immediately after. His hand that was cupping the back of your neck dropped to your waist, squeezing your hip tightly. He then took a step forward, backing you against the stone wall behind you.
"You have no idea how long I've dreamt of this." He murmured, placing a kiss on your jawline
Heavy breaths escaped your lips, your chest heaving up and down while attempting to catch your breath. You had no idea Jongho could kiss so passionately... or boldly, and you were pleasantly surprised by this discovery.
"You're not the only one." You confessed.
He lifted his head to meet your gaze.
"I'm not?"
"No."
Jongho knew when you kissed back that it more than likely meant you felt the same about him as he does you, but hearing you practically confess had him reeling. He wanted to hear more.
"It's probably obvious at this point, but I'm head over heels for you, Jongho."
Still under the influence of the potion, Jongho blurted the first thought in his head.
"I love the way you say my name."
His lips were on yours again, hot and heavy. His kisses were desperate and fast-paced, making you weak in the knees. The Babbling Beverage made one speak nonsense and didn't have an effect on how they kissed, so this was all Jongho.
Your fingers curled around the collar of his robes, fisting the fabric in desperation while he practically devoured you.
It was at that moment, your foot bumped something on the floor which caused you to part ways. Glancing down, you found Jongho's bag that had been discarded only a few moments earlier lying on its side with something sticking out of it.
"What's this?" You asked, reaching for the object that had fallen out of his bag. It was wrapped in brown paper with twine tied around the it, a sprig of lavender tucked into the bow knotted neatly in the middle.
"Oh." The look on his face told you that it was something you weren't supposed to see.
The effects of the potion seemed to be wearing off as he dropped his head into his hands, letting out a groan of frustration.
"I was supposed to give that to you first, before I confessed." He grumbled, his voice muffled by his palms.
When he lifted his head, he saw that you were smiling.
"You got me something?"
"Yeah, but I messed it all up. I had a plan. Give you the gift, then confess. That stupid potion." He muttered the last part.
He only wanted something to give him a tiny boost of courage and instead he made the wrong thing and made himself babble like a fool. Then again, he did have an incredible makeout session with you, so did everything really go wrong?
"Here." He picked up the item and handed it to you.
You carefully took the gift from him, running your fingertips over the lavender.
"You wrapped it yourself?"
He nodded, holding his hands behind his back and rocking back on his heels.
Plucking the sprig of lavender out of the twine, you undid the knot and pulled back the wrapping. Inside was the leather-bound journal you were admiring at Scrivenshaft's just a day ago.
A quiet gasp left your lips. "How did you know?"
As far as you were aware, Jongho had been looking at inkwells when you were perusing the journals.
"I saw you eyeing it in the shop." He responded, holding back a grin, clearly proud of himself.
"You didn't have to."
"I know."
"Thank you." You embraced him in a one-armed hug. "Also, don't worry about how things went today. I think everything turned out perfect. And if I'm being honest, I really enjoyed that little kiss we shared."
"Little?" He raised a brow.
"Okay, not so little."
"I'd be happy to do it again." He grinned, leaning forward only for you to press your finger to his lips, halting his actions.
"Maybe later. I heard some voices down the hall a few seconds ago. Don't wanna get caught."
He pouted, his pillowy lips pressing against your index finger. Unable to resist his puffed out cheeks and pleading eyes, you let out a short sigh, caving immediately.
"We can go to the library. We're less likely to get caught there."
Jongho nodded vigorously in agreement, taking your hand and pulling you down the corridors towards the library, eager to lock lips with you once again.

Your feedback has made me so happy 🥹 I saw on another reblog you said you had a big Harry Potter phase. I’ve been watching the movies since I was 4 when the first one came out. "Woah." You gaped, taking a seat beside Wooyoung at the dining hall table.
His lengthy black hair was now accompanied with striking blonde on the lower layer.
"Oh, you noticed my hair?" He grinned, flipping it in a dramatic manner.
"It's hard not to."
"Do you like it?"
"I love it."
Wooyoung grinned brightly in response. "We were practicing the colovaria charm today and I thought why not leave my hair like it is."
"It suits you."
"You think so?"
You nodded, bringing your hand up to run your fingers through his hair, allowing the soft strands to pass between your digits as you admired the two-toned colors.
"It's very unique and stands out just like you."
Wooyoung started giggling, trying to hide the fact that your comment got him flustered, but he could feel his cheeks getting warm and no doubt turning pink. It didn't help that you were playing with his hair, making his heart do somersaults in his chest.
Wooyoung was a Slytherin and you were a Gryffindor, the two houses have had a long-standing rivalry for decades. Despite that, the two of you had become great friends—the best of friends, actually. Sure he could be a pain in the butt sometimes, but what friend isn't?
"You kinda look like an Oreo." You mentioned while looking at his new hair.
He looked at you quizzically. "What's an Oreo?"
Your mouth dropped open in complete and utter shock.
"Wooyoung, you need to get with it."
"What are you talking about? What's an Oreo?"
"If you want to know, meet me in the North Tower this afternoon after your last class."
"Okay?"
Later that day, Wooyoung met you in the North Tower as you had requested earlier during lunch. He found you standing there patiently, waiting for his arrival.
"Okay, I'm here. Now what?"
"Sit down."
The both of you took a seat on the stone flooring of the tower and you pulled out a package of Oreos, placing it on the ground before carefully pulling back the plastic seal.
Wooyoung reached inside and retrieved one of the black and white treats, examining it for a moment.
"They're cookies." He noted.
"Yes."
Wooyoung started to eat the small snack but before he could, you smacked it out of his hand, sending it right out one of the tower's archways.
"No."
"What was that for?" He whined.
"You're doing it wrong." You told him, pulling a thermos out of your bag. "If you're going to experience Oreos you have to do it properly."
Wooyoung watched as you unscrewed the cap that doubled as a cup, pouring something into it and handing it over.
"It's... milk."
"Exactly." You responded, handing him a new cookie.
He sat there, holding both things in his hands, not really knowing what to do.
"You dip it." You told him, proceeding to mimic the actions.
When he didn't budge, you reached out and grabbed his wrists, forcing him to dunk the cookie into the milk.
"Now, leave it for a few seconds, but not too long. There's a science to this."
You waited for just a brief moment before nodding, giving him the green light. He excitedly pulled the cookie out of the milk and took a bite, his eyes widening almost instantly.
"These are amazing!" He gasped. "Is this what muggles like to eat?"
"Yep! Half-bloods like me get the best of both worlds." You grinned proudly, resting your arms behind your head while you gloated.
Originally, you thought introducing Wooyoung to Oreos was a great idea but you're afraid you started something because he had unknowingly finished the remainder of the pack.
"Wooyoung, that was supposed to last me the whole month. I won't be able to get any more until my parents send some next month."
"Sorry." He grinned bashfully. "They're just so good."
You couldn't be mad at him, nor could you hold back the small triumphant grin that played at your lips.
"I know right?"
You started tidying everything up, putting a cap on your now empty thermos and putting any trash into your bag to toss later.
"Now you know why I compared your hair to an Oreo." You smiled, reaching over to brush Wooyoung's hair back. "I hope you keep it like this for a while."
That was two months ago and his hair has remained the same color ever since.
The both of you sat in the study hall poring over transfiguration textbooks before class. Wooyoung's fingertip ghosted across the paper as he reread the same paragraph over and over, stopping every few seconds to push his hair away from his face, the long, stubborn strands coming untucked and falling down in his line of sight, pestering him. You noticed this and tugged off the hair tie you conveniently kept around your wrist, moving over to him. He flinched slightly as your fingers raked through his hair, pulling it away from his face.
"Here." You murmured.
Wooyoung's eyelids fluttered closed in response to your digits running through his hair, his heart hammering against his rib cage. You worked quietly, taking the top layer of his two-toned hair and tying it into a small ponytail so that it would stay out of his way.
"There. That should help."
As you sat back down, Wooyoung's hand came up to feel the layer of hair that had been secured at the top of his head.
"Thanks."
When you tied his hair back, you thought you were doing him a favor, which you were, but the hairstyle only made your heart jump. He looked way too good.
Once it was nearing time for class to start, the both of you gathered your things and headed in the direction of the transfiguration classroom.
"We should do something fun after school." Wooyoung spoke up.
"Like what?"
Wooyoung's definition of fun was usually something that could get you guys expelled. Though, it never happened and he somehow always managed to keep both of you out of detention, you despised almost every "fun" idea he had.
"I think I'll pass."
"Why?" He frowned.
"You know why."
How on earth did you end up end up here?
Jung Wooyoung, that's how.
Your mischievous Slytherin friend insisted on taking a walk, but of course it wasn't a normal walk. Nothing with Jung Wooyoung is ever normal; he's always got something up his sleeve. That's how you ended up standing at the tree line of the Forbidden Forest, your trouble-making counterpart continuing towards the cluster of trees with no signs of stopping.
"Wooyoung!" You hissed, causing him to pause. "What on earth are we doing out here?"
"Taking a walk." He answered casually.
"We are not just taking a walk. Why did you bring me here?"
"To explore."
"Explore?" You parroted in disbelief. "No, no. There is no 'exploring' the Forbidden Forest. This could get us detention—no, this could get us expelled, Wooyoung. Have you lost your mind?"
"Not at all."
"I'm not going." You crossed your arms.
"Oh, come on. Don't be a party pooper."
"I said I'm not going." You repeated more firmly to let him know you wouldn't be swayed.
"We're just gonna walk around for a while, that's all. There's nothing to worry about."
"There's so much to worry about. Expulsion, getting lost, getting injured, attacked, eaten."
You listed, counting on your fingers.
He raised a brow. "Are you done?"
"Really? You're not concerned about any of this?"
"No, not really."
"Get back here." You pointed to the spot beside you.
"No."
"Wooyoung."
He started walking backwards into the forest, obviously out of spite.
"Oh no. Someone must have cast a spell on me. My legs can't stop moving." He feigned concern.
"Wooyoung, stop right now." You hissed.
"I can't!"
You hurriedly glanced around to make sure no one else was outside.
"You're going to get us in trouble." You whisper-yelled.
"My legs are moving on their own, Y/n. I'm completely helpless."
Giving one last hurried glance at your surroundings, you rushed forward, muttering under your breath about Wooyoung being obnoxious and how you're going to get detention.
"I hate you so much." You grumbled, trudging behind him.
"Do you?"
"Right now I do."
Your eyes darted about as you crossed the dirt floor of the forest, hoping nothing would jump out.
"This place is so cool." He marveled.
"If by cool you mean deadly and forbidden, then yes, it's very cool."
You couldn't see Wooyoung's face, but you knew he rolled his eyes at your snarky remark.
"What is it that you're hoping to find out here?" You questioned.
"Nothing. I just wanted to explore and look around."
He was your best friend and yes you liked him, but he could be unbearably obnoxious sometimes, like right now.
"Have you ever heard of curiosity killed the cat?" You questioned.
"Have you ever heard of Schrödinger's cat?" He shot back.
"Yes, but the whole point of that theory is if you don't open the box the cat could be dead or alive and you'll never really know. You just stay curious."
"Yeah and I'm choosing to open that box."
Idiot. You thought.
As much as you wanted to turn around and leave, you couldn't possibly abandon Wooyoung, especially in the Forbidden Forest. If something happened to him you wouldn't be able to forgive yourself.
"See? It's not so bad." Wooyoung grinned after you had been walking for a few minutes.
The snap of a twig echoed through the forest, more than likely indicating that something deep within the cluster of moss-covered trees was lurking, watching... waiting.
"What was that?" You spun around in the direction of the noise.
"What was what?"
"Wooyoung, I just heard something."
"You're just imagining." He waved a dismissive hand, walking further ahead.
"Hey! Don't leave me back here." You scurried forward.
"You scared?" He taunted. "Don't worry, you can hold onto me if you're afraid."
"Now's not the time for that." You scolded while your frantic eyes moved about your surroundings. "Something's out there."
"Nothing's out there."
"Hm, let's see: Giant spiders, centaurs, thestrals, hippogriffs, a werewolf."
"The werewolf is just a rumor."
"You don't know that."
He only shrugged and went on his merry way.
"I'm not trying to get eaten." You added. "We should go back."
"You worry too much."
"And you don't worry enough."
"We'll walk a little further and then go. How's that?" He attempted to strike up a deal.
"I'd rather go now."
"It's my final offer. Take it or leave it, Y/n."
"Fine." You grumbled, crossing your arms over your chest as you picked up the pace to try and keep close to Wooyoung.
You had no choice but to stick by him since he was the only other human being around. If the two of you got separated you were screwed.
Leaves rustling in the distance behind you grabbed the attention of both you and Wooyoung.
"Did you hear that?" You asked pointedly.
"I did." He came to a stop, looking back in the direction you two had just came from. "It's probably nothing."
"Nothing? Wooyoung, there's something out there. We need to leave now."
Before he could respond there was more rustling in the distance, this time it actually seemed to make Wooyoung stiffen.
"Run."
"What?"
"Run!" He repeated, grabbing your wrist and pulling you deeper into the forest.
You didn't know what you were running from, but you didn't want to find out. You were thankful for Wooyoung's very brief moment of rationality, however, it seemed it was a bit too late. You had your chance to leave before something caught sight, or scent, of the both of you and you didn't take it.
"Over here." Wooyoung pointed to a nearby tree. "There are some lower hanging branches, we can use them to climb up."
He hurried over to the trunk before kneeling down, patting his knee. "Go on."
Without giving it a second thought, you stepped up onto his leg and reached for the closest branch grabbing onto it and using it to pull yourself up.
You didn't have the greatest upper body strength but considering the situation, the fear gave you a sudden adrenaline boost to climb. Grunts left you as you continued latching onto branches, using them as leverage to heave yourself up. It seemed Wooyoung wasn't far behind, as you could hear his grunts.
"That limb on the right should be fine." He stated from behind you.
Desperate, you listened to him and heaved yourself onto the large limb, helping Wooyoung onto it once he had climbed high enough.
"Not so bad, huh?" You asked mockingly, referring to his earlier comment as you huffed, trying to catch your breath and calm your racing heart.
"Okay so maybe I was wrong."
"Maybe? Wooyoung, we're stuck in a tree and there's something lurking down there."
"At least we're up here where it's safe."
"And what if whatever's out there can fly or has claws to climb a tree, hm?"
He blinked a few times before answering.
"We have magic. We can zap it if it gets too close."
You took in a very deep breath before letting it out slowly, trying your best to calm your nerves. How could he be so nonchalant in a situation like this?
"You know how we were talking about Schrödinger's cat earlier?" You asked.
"Yeah."
"You shouldn't have opened the box." You smacked him upside the back of his head.
"Ow." He rubbed his scalp. "What was that for?"
"Oh I don't know, maybe it's for dragging me into the Forbidden Forest."
"You need to loosen up, Y/n."
"Loosen up?" You laughed loudly. "How can I when there's something down there that more than likely wants to eat us?"
"Look, we just need to wait up here for a little while and then we'll go."
"How will you know it's safe?"
"We just need to wait and see."
Though you shook your head in disapproval, that seemed to be the only solution at the moment—wait it out. Neither of you were equipped to battle a magical beast and you definitely weren't ready to risk losing your life by getting down from the tree and making a break for it.
Wooyoung let out a long sigh, boredom quickly setting in. His legs swung back and forth while his eyes looked around at the surrounding trees, biding his time by seeing how many he could count. He had gotten to twenty-six when he lost count and had to start over.
Your legs unconsciously moved back and forth in the same rhythm as Wooyoung's while you too tried to pass the time, looking for something to distract you for a short period of time. Your wandering gaze turned to your troublemaker friend while he was occupied, your eyes taking in his features, moving down to linger on the mole adorning his lips, that stupid mole... the one you'd always secretly wanted to kiss. Your friendship with Wooyoung had its ups and downs, some moments were filled with you silently swooning over him while others were spent trying to talk him out of doing something stupid and dragging you with him. Despite how many sticky situations you'd been in with him, they never pushed you away or made you want to stop being friends with him. Maybe that just proved how much you loved him.
It then dawned on you that someone would eventually notice the both of you are missing. Someone would have to search for you and Wooyoung. What if it was a teacher and they came out here looking for you? You didn't like the idea of getting caught by a professor because there was no telling what consequences you'd face, but you also weren't keen on staying up in the tree for the rest of the day.
"If someone happens to come walking by we'll be spotted immediately because of your two-toned hair." You complained, muttering a quiet, "Your stupid hair."
"I thought you liked it." He stated, referring to when he first colored it.
"I do. That's why it's stupid."
"What do you mean?"
"I like it so much. Your long, stupid hair and your stupid face... and you in general."
A small, amused grin tugged at his full lips.
"What are you trying to say, Y/n?"
"I'm not trying to say anything."
You really weren't in the mood for his teasing.
"Are you sure?" He inquired, tilting his head.
"Yes." You responded a little too quickly, turning away from him as warmth tickled your cheeks.
Wooyoung took delight in seeing you flustered, taking the opportunity to tease you further.
Your gaze stayed locked on a distant tree that suddenly became very interesting. Your mischievous friend leaned in, dragging his bottom lip against the shell of your ear.
"You can say you like me." His warm breath brushed against your ear sending a rush of chills across your skin.
"Quit it." You pulled away from him, careful not to jerk too quickly and go plummeting to the ground.
He seemed to back off after that, which you were grateful for.
You peered down from the large tree limb the two of you were perched on, becoming slightly dizzy at the vast distance between you and the ground.
"Hey." Wooyoung spoke up quietly, gaining your attention.
"What?" When you looked up at him, his face was close to yours—too close.
"Let's kiss."
"What?"
"Kissing in the Forbidden Forest is kinda romantic, don't you think?"
"Actually, I think it's just another way to get detentio-"
Wooyoung's lips shut you up, cutting you off as he kissed you. Your body stilled, eyes blown wide in surprise at his actions.
It took your brain a moment to process what was happening and even then, you couldn't figure out how to respond. Wooyoung's hand came up to grab the back of your neck, keeping your mouths firmly connected as he continued kissing you.
Then ever so slowly, your eyelids began to slide shut while you reciprocated his actions and started to kiss back. Your hands made their way to his hair, letting your fingers tangle themselves in the lengthy strands, really letting yourself feel the softness of his locks. However, the top half of his hair was still tied up from earlier, so you couldn't exactly get the full experience.
Without parting ways, you felt for the ponytail and pulled the elastic out, successfully freeing the rest of his hair so you could bury your digits in it. Wooyoung let out a small noise against your lips when you grabbed a handful of his hair, the sound sending a rush of butterflies into your stomach. You took another handful of his two-toned locks, tugging lightly at the roots so you could hear that beautiful sound again. This time, the noise was deeper, a low groan that vibrated against your lips.
Wooyoung wished he could pull you closer and hold your body flush against his like he wanted to, but the fact that you were both in a tree prevented him from doing so. Instead, he kept one hand around the back of your neck, the other wrapping around your waist.
Squeaky laughter filled the air, the sudden high-pitch sound causing you and Wooyoung to part ways, ending your steamy kiss. Peering below, you found San, a friend of both yours and Wooyoung's, standing at the base of the tree laughing loudly and clutching his stomach.
"San!" You yelped in surprise.
"Y/n and Wooyoung sitting in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g." He sang, dancing in place.
"Knock it off!" Wooyoung hissed, his ears turning red from embarrassment.
"I've been looking everywhere for you guys."
You exchanged glances with Wooyoung.
"You have?"
"Yeah. I thought I saw you guys come up this way so I followed you."
Your shoulders sagged in relief. It wasn't a creature that you'd heard, it was San.
Wooyoung then burst out into a fit of laughter.
"We were hiding from San this whole time. Isn't that funny?"
You let out a sigh. "Let's just get out of here."
Carefully, you made your way down the large tree, placing your foot on each branch in a diligent manner as you slowly reached the forest floor.
"I've never been so grateful to be on solid ground." You commented. "I'm so happy I could kiss it."
"Why kiss the ground when you can kiss Wooyoung?" San remarked with a cheeky smirk.
"Shut it." Wooyoung hissed, elbowing his fellow Slytherin in the side, earning a loud ack! from him in response.
San pouted, rubbing his side to soothe it.
"Fine. I'll walk ahead and let you two have your time alone."
You and Wooyoung stood and watched as he made his way down the faint trail in the forest, the both of you following a few moments after, making sure to keep a few feet of space between the two of you and San.
"So." Wooyoung murmured.
"So." You repeated.
"That kiss was something, huh?"
"Yeah. It was."
You mentally slapped yourself for sounding so stupid. Could you not have come up with a better response?
"I liked it." You spoke up.
"Me too." He agreed quietly.
You found it just the slightest bit endearing that he was so bold just moments earlier and now he was being timid, unable to look at you without his cheeks and ears turning red.
"If it wasn't already obvious, I like you." He blurted.
You huffed out a chortle. "If it wasn't already obvious, I like you too."
Wooyoung pulled his bottom lip between his teeth, suppressing a smile.
"I'm still mad at you for dragging me out here though." You added.
"But it got us to confess to each other so it obviously wasn't all bad."
"I suppose."

My works are 14+ ONLY. If you’re under 14 DO NOT interact with me or any of my works
Pairing: Hufflepuff!Yunho x Hufflepuff!fem reader
Word count: 4,968
Note: Seems kinda silly sharing this one considering its March lol but when I was writing these Hogwarts AU imagines, they were being posted around November/December 2022 and I felt bad for not having anything festive written so I made this one take place around Christmastime to add some festive flair. Hopefully you guys can still enjoy it, even in March haha

"You need to dress warmly, Y/n. It's getting colder these days." Yunho tugged your scarf around your neck, making sure you were all bundled up.
You merely chuckled, amused at how much he cares for you.
"I'll be fine." You assured him.
"We have to walk all the way to the greenhouse for herbology. You should stay warm."
You gave him a reluctant smile, allowing him to adjust your scarf to where it would cover your chin.
"Okay." He gave a small nod of approval before linking arms with you. "Let's go. Don't wanna be late."
Leaving the warm corridors of the school, you stepped out into the chilly air. It was nearing the end of autumn and would soon be winter, though based on the bitter temperature outside it felt like the season had already arrived. You and your fellow housemate trekked across the school grounds, stepping over leaves that had long fallen off the trees, their color now a dull brown. The holidays were just around the corner and Hogwarts had rolled out the Christmas decorations, decking the entire school out in holiday cheer, the colorful array of twinkling ornaments and other baubles giving the castle a cozy feel. The Great Hall was the most beautiful with large Christmas trees throughout the room, holly and ribbons hanging along the ceiling, all topped off with white snow falling from above, the magical icy clusters not feeling cold at all.
The greenhouse came into view, you and Yunho hurrying over desperate to get inside and out of the chilly air.
"Good afternoon." Professor Sprout greeted you with her usual warm smile, her jovial personality shining through as always.
"Afternoon." You greeted, making your way further into the greenhouse, taking your place at the long table that stretched along the length of the greenhouse.
You and Yunho began unpacking your supplies, your fingers brushing against his by accident.
"Your hands are freezing." He commented, grabbing them with his larger ones.
A faint heat creeped onto your cheeks as he squeezed your icy palms between his, warming them a little. You were so focused on him, you didn't notice the other students filing in the greenhouse, preparing for class.
"Alright. Now that everyone's here let's get started." Professor Sprout spoke up, causing Yunho to release your hands.
You exchanged sheepish glances before the both of you turned your eyes away out of embarrassment.
"Since Christmas is approaching, I thought it would be fit for us to study mistletoe. As you all know, this parasitic plant is used for decoration, but you can also use it for antidotes for the forgetfulness potion and common poisons."
"Ha. Mistletoe." You chuckled softly. "How festive."
Professor Sprout proceeded to explain more facts about the plant, allowing everyone to examine the white berries on the herbage, cutting them open and grinding them for potions.
The greenhouse, though slightly warmer than the chilly outdoor air, didn't offer much heat for your cold fingertips. Suddenly you missed the warmth of Yunho's hands, wishing he could hold them one more time.
Professor Sprout filled the silence in the greenhouse by giving a brief history lesson on mistletoe, talking about how it was used as a holiday decoration in the 1700s, then she proceeded explain how wizards used it for potions, though at that point you started zoning out.
Her voice became mere background noise as your eyes lingered on Yunho, who was closely examining the leaves on his plant which was held between his slender fingers.
By some miracle, you managed to pull it together long enough to make it through class.
You rubbed your hands together on the trek back to the school, tugging your scarf up to cover your nose and shield it from the chilly gusts of wind that fiercely hit your cheeks.
Once back inside Hogwarts, you let the heat from the torches lining the hall to warm you up a little. Yunho noticed the way you rubbed your hands together, wiggling your fingers around a bit.
"Here." Yunho held his hands out to you palms up.
You placed your smaller hands in his and allowed him to warm them the best he could, though his fingers were pretty cold as well, but they were warmer than yours. Plus, you can't possibly pass up the opportunity to have his hands holding onto yours.
You chuckled softly at Yunho's appearance, noticing a tint of pink on the tip of his nose.
"What?" He asked amusedly.
"Your nose is pink."
"It's freezing too. Wanna feel it?" He teased, leaning in closely preparing to press his nose against your cheek. You were quick to pull away, laughing at him.
"Come on. Let's go to the dining hall and see if we can get some hot chocolate before our next class." He stated.
"That would be fantastic."
The both of you went straight to the Great Hall where thankfully you were able to get a hot beverage to warm you up, the drink doing wonders for you.
"This was a good call." You sighed contently, grateful that your friend had suggested the idea. "I needed something that would warm me up quickly."
He hummed in agreement, his face covered by the mug as he gulped down the chocolate beverage. Once he set the cup down, a small amount of whipped cream dotted the tip of his nose as well as his top lip, the sight making you giggle.
"What? Do I have something on my face?" He asked, knowing there was whipped topping on him.
"Come here." You beckoned, grabbing a napkin and cleaning his face.
Yunho's heart fluttered at your simple yet very effective actions. His eyes lingered on your face, taking in all your beautiful details, from your lashes to your soft-looking lips, his mind beginning to wander as he imagined what it would feel like to kiss them.
"Yunho?"
He blinked himself from his daze, humming in response.
"You zoned out. I asked if you were ready to go. We've got just enough time to get to class."
"Oh. Yeah I'm ready."
It was early morning, right around breakfast time and you were sat in front of the fireplace in the Hufflepuff common room with a letter in your hands and a heavy feeling in your chest.
The sound of feet shuffling along the floor above could be heard over the crackling fire before you, Yunho's voice following after.
"Oh, you got something from your parents?" He observed.
"Yeah." You sighed as he descended the stairs, taking a seat beside you.
"Must've been important if it was delivered straight to the dormitory."
"It was."
Based on your discouraged tone and small frown, whatever news you got wasn't good.
"What's wrong?"
"It's a letter from my parents. They work for the Ministry of Magic so they're really busy and it seems they're not going to be home much. Looks like I'm going to be staying here for Christmas."
Yunho frowned. He hated seeing you upset, even more so he hated that you would be stuck at Hogwarts over Christmas break instead of spending it with your family.
"Come here." He beckoned softly, pulling you into a hug, which you happily accepted.
His hugs were always the best. He was bigger than you, so being in his embrace always felt nice, warm, even safe. You've always joked that his hugs were magical because they always seemed to melt your problems away whenever you were upset about something.
Yunho rubbed your back soothingly, allowing you to stay in his arms for as long as you needed.
If you were forced to stay at Hogwarts over Christmas break, he would stay with you.
Or maybe...
He let out a sudden gasp as a lightbulb went off in his head, making him pull back.
"Why don't you spend Christmas with me and my family?"
You took in a quick breath at his sudden proposition, looking at him with a shocked expression. At your response, or lack thereof, Yunho continued.
"You can send an owl back to your parents and let them know you're going to spend Christmas with me."
You continued to sit there, your mind processing everything.
Spending Christmas with Yunho?
The idea sounded great, honestly. You'd be able to spend the entire break with your crush. What more could you ask for?
Judging by the hopeful expression on his face and the expectant gleam in his eyes, he really wanted you to accept his offer, so you did.
When Christmas break rolled around, you found yourself boarding the Hogwarts Express with Yunho and a suitcase of clothes and other necessities for your visit.
The both of you made your way into one of the roomettes, sliding the door closed behind you before moving to sit on one of the benches.
"Sit next to me, Y/n." Yunho patted the spot next to him.
Softly smiling, you moved across to Yunho's bench, seating yourself beside him.
"I haven't seen your parents in years." You commented.
"I'm sure they're excited to see you, especially mom. She asks about you a lot."
"She does?"
He nodded.
The train departed from the station a few minutes later, rolling into motion. You watched as the school got smaller and smaller the further away you got. Your heart started to beat a little faster at the thought of being with Yunho for two weeks at his home.
The snack trolley rolled by not too long into the ride making the Hufflepuff beside you perk up, an excited gasp leaving him.
"Y/n, do you want something?" He asked.
"Yes, please."
Yunho asked the lady pushing the cart for your favorite candy along with some of his favorites before she went on to the next roomette. It didn't take long at all for the both of you to tear into the sweets, enjoying them as you watched the trees and valleys pass by.
An hour into the train ride, you felt your eyelids begin to droop as a feeling of drowsiness slowly washed over you. Not wanting to fall asleep, you turned your attention to the view out the window and started watching the scenery, a vast field with mountains in the distance, each one a different size. Unfortunately, that didn't do any good and you ended up allowing yourself to rest your eyes for a moment, which of course resulted in you falling asleep.
Yunho's gaze was glued to the landscape outside when he felt a weight on his shoulder. Upon glancing over, he found you sound asleep, your body slumped over on him, head resting on his shoulder.
A soft smile of adoration tugged at his lips as he allowed his gaze to linger on you for a few moments, taking in your features up close. It was only when you stirred slightly that he averted his gaze back to the view outside, his cheeks slightly warm.
When he didn’t feel you move, he peeked over at you once more as soft breaths pushed past your slightly parted lips.
"Y/n. We're here."
You squeezed your eyes shut tighter, nuzzling your face into whatever you were resting on.
A deep chuckle sounded afterwards making you peel your eyes open.
Yunho was gazing down at you, eyes gleaming with amusement. It was then that you realized you'd fallen asleep on him, your head resting on his chest. This realization caused you to push yourself off him in a rush.
He only laughed, standing up from his seat.
"I'm sorry." You apologized.
"You seemed to be sleeping well, so I didn't wake you." He responded, offering you his hand. "Come on."
After a short taxi ride, you arrived at your destination, welcomed by strings of beautiful multicolored lights strung along the eaves of the house, the sight giving you a warm feeling in your chest.
You stepped into Yunho's cozy abode, the warmth from inside brushing against your cool cheeks, the smell of gingerbread and cinnamon reaching your senses.
"Come in, come in." Yunho's mom beckoned, ushering both of you inside. "It's freezing out."
Christmas music played softly throughout the home as you removed your scarf, your eyes roaming the house, taking in your surroundings. The feeling of someone tugging on your coat grabbed your attention, it was Yunho. You thanked him quietly, shrugging off the thick jacket and allowing him to hang it on the coat rack by the door.
"My Yunho, come here." His mom cooed, pulling him into a tight hug. "I missed you so much."
"I missed you too, mom."
After pulling away, she turned to you with a warm smile. "Y/n."
"Hello." You greeted.
"I haven't seen you since you and Yunho were in fourth year." She gushed. "You've grown into such a beautiful young lady."
You muttered a shy thank you before she escorted the both of you into the living room, going on about how excited she was that you'd be joining them during Christmas break and how she had prepared snacks for your arrival. Sitting on the coffee table in the living room was a plate of small sandwiches, crackers, and sliced fruit along with two glasses of water.
"Sorry. She gets enthusiastic when we have guests." Yunho murmured, cheeks tinged pink.
"It's fine. It's actually really nice. I missed her hospitality."
Just then, the front door swung open and Yunho's father walked in, shrugging off his jacket.
"Are they here yet?" He inquired before glancing into the living room where you and Yunho were seated on the couch. "Ah. I missed the welcome party."
"We just got in." Yunho informed him. "You didn't miss much."
"Good, good." His father nodded, making his way over to greet both of you, asking how classes were and how you'd been—just the usual small talk. He then grabbed one of the tiny sandwiches Yunho's mom had made.
At that moment, she entered the room and caught him in the act, immediately scolding him.
"Those are for Y/n and Yunho."
"Alright. Sorry." He chuckled, heading towards the kitchen.
"Y/n, why don't I take your bags to your room?" Yunho's mom offered.
"Oh, you don't have to do that."
"No, no, I insist. You're our guest."
You didn't have time to protest as she grabbed your bag as well as Yunho's and left the room.
After resting for a moment and finishing the finger foods that were prepared, Yunho's mom offered to show you where you'd be sleeping during your visit. Yunho wanted to unpack his things, so he got up and followed you and his mom down the hall, not expecting her to come to a stop at his bedroom.
"You'll have to share with Yunho. I hope you don't mind." She mentioned, opening the bedroom door. "Don't worry, though. I've set up a mattress on the floor so everything should be fine."
"I thought we had a spare bedroom." Yunho spoke up hastily.
"Oh, I've been using it as a storage room."
Yunho's face got hot at the thought of sharing a room with you, but at the same time it was a dream come true. Back at Hogwarts the boys and girls dorms are separated; the girls' dormitory is charmed so no boys can enter, though it's not the same for the boys' dorm, which is odd—but you've never stayed overnight with him before, even at school, so this would be a whole new experience.
Your palms started to get a bit sweaty as you took in the information you were just given, your slightly wide eyes staring at the sight before you. Alongside Yunho's bed was a small, inflatable mattress with a few blankets and pillows on it. While it did look comfortable, it was directly beside the place where Yunho slept. Judging by the giddiness in his mom's voice, she was more than okay with the both of you sharing a room.
"Well, I'll let you two get settled." She spoke up and excused herself.
As soon as she was out of the room, Yunho's head dropped as he let out a sigh.
"I'm sorry."
"It's fine." You waved him off.
You and Yunho have been friends for years, sharing a room shouldn't be weird... it only feels that way because of your feelings for him.
"I'm gonna unpack. You can make yourself comfortable."
Yunho moved across the room to his bed where his suitcase laid, unzipping the beg before removing items from it. You started to do the same, taking a seat on the blow up mattress in the floor, taking out your toiletry bag.
"You can put that in the bathroom across the hall." Yunho mentioned. "As for clothes, you can leave them in your suitcase or I can clean out a drawer for you to store them in."
"It's fine. I can just leave them in here." You responded, not wanting Yunho to go to the extra trouble.
Once settled, the both of you were called into the kitchen to have dinner, which smelled so good. It had been a while since you had a home-cooked meal. Though, Hogwarts had exceptional food, there's something different about having something made at home.
"You really went all out." You commented, your mouth watering at the spread before you.
"Of course. It's Christmas, plus we have a special guest. It's the least I could do." Yunho's mom smiled warmly, pouring everyone a drink.
After a nice meal, you spent the rest of the afternoon watching TV with Yunho and his parents. Turns out they found amusement in muggle television programs and enjoyed watching them. You unexpectedly got hooked on a particular show, the ups and downs of the plot pulling you in immediately.
After watching a few episodes, you and Yunho decided to get ready for bed and settle in for the night.
You watched in mild amusement as Yunho arranged his pillows in a particular order, one lying flat in the middle and one propped up on the bed frame on either side. A chuckle slipped from you by accident causing the tall boy to turn, eyeing you.
"Sorry." You apologized. "I didn't know you had a system going."
"I do. My bed fits me well so I arrange my pillows like this, but in beds that are shorter where my feet stick out, I arrange them like this." He began shuffling the pillows around, moving the ones that were resting on the bed frame flat on the mattress lying vertically, giving him somewhat of a barrier on either side of his main pillow.
"I have to do this at Hogwarts since the beds are smaller." He mentioned.
It may be silly, but his specific pillow arrangements were extremely endearing to you. The way he had a whole system figured out based on the size of the bed was too cute.
He didn't seem to notice your love-filled gaze as he fluffed his main pillow, shimmying underneath the covers.
"Are you settled in?" He asked.
"Mhm." You hummed.
Yunho raised his wand in the air, using it to turn the lights out before snuggling down into his bed.
"Goodnight, Y/n."
"Goodnight, Yunho."
Getting to sleep proved to be a bit harder than you had originally thought. You were hyperaware of Yunho sleeping so close to you and that prevented you from getting relaxed enough to rest.
It's not a big deal, Y/n. You told yourself. Yunho is your best friend. You've known him for years. There's no reason to be nervous.
Minutes passed and you tried different positions, lying on your back, your left side, then your right side. Nothing was working.
Movement on the bed caught your attention as Yunho's head popped up, peeking down at you.
"If you're not comfortable, we can switch spots." He offered. "If it's me you're uncomfortable with I can sleep on the couch and you can have my bed."
The thought of sleeping in Yunho's bed under sheets that probably smelled like him drove you crazy, but the inflatable mattress was just fine, plus you didn't want to take Yunho's bed from him.
"I'm good." You assured him.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah. This is fine."
"Well, the offer is still there if you change your mind."
You murmured a thank you before rolling over, finally getting comfortable enough to go to sleep.
You woke up the next morning to Yunho shaking you awake.
"What is it?" You groaned.
"Get up. Hurry!" He pulled you to your feet, your knees nearly buckling, not used to all the sudden movement right after waking up.
Yunho wrapped his arm around your waist, pulling you downstairs to the living room window.
"Check it out." Yunho gawked as he gazed out the glass pane.
"Wow." You gaped at the amount of snow that had blanketed the front lawn, the sight instantly waking you up.
"Oh, how pretty." Yunho's mom marveled. "You two should go outside and enjoy it."
The both of you exchanged glances, but before either of you could speak, Yunho's mom did.
"Go on." She gently ushered the both of you towards your room, telling you to bundle up. "I'll start on breakfast and you two go have some fun."
You had no choice but to do as she asked, going right back to Yunho's room.
"I'm so glad I packed warm clothes." You commented, pulling out a sweater and thick pants.
After layering up and putting on your coat and house scarf, you stepped outside hearing the many inches of snow crunch beneath your boots.
"That's one way to wake you up in the mornings." Yunho chuckled, his breaths coming out in puffs due to the frigid air.
"That's for sure." You shivered slightly, the icy weather flushing out the last remnants of sleep from your body.
"Come on." Yunho's gloved hand grabbed yours, tugging you out into the yard. "We should build a snowman."
"With all this snow, we could built three snowmen."
Yunho retrieved his wand from the inside of his jacket with a smirk. "You wanna try it?"
A knowing grin spread across your face as you pulled out your wand. "Let's do it."
With a simple locomotion charm, the both of you had large spheres of snow rolling across the lawn, getting bigger and bigger.
"Bring that one over here." Yunho pointed. "We'll use that for the base."
You nodded, moving your snowball to its designated spot as Yunho stacked his on top, using his wand to place the last and smallest sphere on top. In no time, you had three perfect snowmen built in front of the house.
Using your wands, the both of you gathered sticks and rocks to use for the arms and face for each snowman, placing them accordingly.
"These looks great." You beamed. "It's been  so long since I've done this. I feel like a kid again."
"Me too." He huffed out a laugh. "You think breakfast is ready?"
"I hope so. I'm starving."
"Come on." Yunho held out his hand. "Let's go."
Later that night, the air inside the house was cooler than normal thanks to the piles of snow outside. The double layer of blankets wasn't doing much to keep you warm, no matter how much you curled up or how high they were bunched around your neck.
"Are you cold?" Yunho asked.
You assumed he was asleep, so his voice startled you a bit.
"Just a little." You responded.
"Would you like to sleep up here? It's warmer when you're not close to the floor."
"I don't know. You've got that pillow fort up there, I don't think there's any room for me." You teased.
"I can always make room."
You were so desperate to get warm and Yunho's offer was very appealing, so you agreed.
Yunho shuffled around, adjusting his pillows as you got up off the inflatable mattress and joined him in the bed, which was noticeably warmer than your makeshift one on the floor.
You let out a content sigh, tugging the covers up over you.
"Better?" Yunho asked.
"Much."
At this point, the fact that you were sharing a bed with Yunho didn't phase you, in fact, it was the last thing on your mind. You were just grateful to be warm. Yunho shuffled a bit, giving you some extra space before rolling onto his side, his back facing you.
"This is so much nicer than that air mattress." You commented blissfully.
"I imagine it is."
"You don't have to be so far away." You told him, noticing the distance between the both of you.
"I just wanna make sure you're comfortable."
"I am. Come on." You tugged at the back of his pajama top, making him scoot towards you.
He kept his back facing you, too nervous to turn around. Yunho felt bad that you were cold and simply wanted to help out, but now that you were right beside him, things were starting to sink in.
"Goodnight." You murmured sleepily.
"Goodnight."
It was only when he was sure you were asleep that he turned around. Your cheek was squished against the pillow as small snores moved past your parted lips. His hand reached out towards your face, his slender fingers barely ghosting over your cheek. Yunho found himself unconsciously moving forward, his gaze focused on your lips. Before he could get too close, he came to his senses and pulled away, choosing to go to sleep.
It was finally Christmas Eve and things were in full swing at the Jeong household. Yunho's dad has just placed extra logs in the fireplace while his mom laid out all the sweet treats she had baked, going on about playing some board games later. Presents had been wrapped and placed neatly underneath the tree, each present with a different decorative wrapping.
"There's supposed to be some muggle
Christmas specials on tonight." Yunho's dad mentioned. "We should watch some."
"That'll be fun." You agreed.
"Oh, darn." You heard Yunho's mom mutter.
"Is everything okay?" You inquired, poking your head into the kitchen.
"I'm out of eggs." She glanced at the clock on the wall. "The store closes in half an hour. I need to go."
You and Yunho watched from the living room doorway as she hurriedly slipped on her coat, calling for his dad to come with her.
"You two will be alright staying here by yourselves for a little while, right?"
You both nodded.
With that, she pulled out her wand, both she and Yunho's dad apparating in the blink of an eye.
"I can't wait to get my apparition license." You commented.
"Me too. It'll be so convenient." Yunho agreed.
Letting out a sigh, you turned to face him.
"So, what should we do?"
Your question went unheard and unanswered by Yunho who was more occupied with something above you.
"Ah." Yunho glanced up with rosy cheeks.
Following his gaze, you spotted a small bundle of mistletoe hanging from the top of the doorframe, sucking in a deep breath at the sight.
"I'm sorry." He muttered embarrassedly. "My mom must've put that there."
The tips of his ears were a deep shade of pink while his cheeks were almost matching.
"It's okay." You shrugged it off, acting as if it wasn't a big deal to help Yunho feel a little more at ease even though you were internally freaking out just like he was.
Pulling your bottom lip between your teeth, you weighed your options. Either you could walk away and pretend this didn't happen, noting to avoid the mistletoe for the rest of your visit, or you could try and kiss Yunho and see what happens.
Before you could make a decision, he started to lean in closer, your breath catching in your throat.
Yunho's lips met yours, pressing softly as if to test the waters. Though there wasn't much force or pressure to the kiss, you could feel the pliant softness of his lips as they dragged slowly against yours before he pulled away, the lack of contact leaving you wanting more. Without hesitation, you leaned forward, reconnecting your lips. The action clearly caught Yunho off guard but he was quick to respond, his arms sliding around your waist pulling you into his broad chest.
Your mind clouded over immediately, the feeling of his mouth on yours was almost too much to handle, but still you wanted more.
You got your wish, because it was at that moment Yunho stepped forward, pressing your back against the frame of the walkway as he began kissing you more feverishly.
Your fingers found purchase in his dark tresses, tugging at his hair. He let out a grunt in response, pressing closer to you.
"Yunho." You murmured against his lips.
He pulled away for a moment, gazing drunkenly at you with half-lidded eyes.
"I like you a lot." You confessed breathlessly. "I have for along time."
"Me too." He sighed, leaning in to capture your lips with his once again.
Your leg wrapped around his torso, your fingers grabbing at the fabric of his sweater.
Yunho pulled away again, making you frown slightly at the loss of contact.
"You're so pretty." He stroked your cheek.
Your eyelids fluttered closed as you sighed out his name.
"I'm not sure how long your mom will be gone, maybe we should go somewhere else." You suggested.
"Say no more." Yunho began tugging you along through the living room and down the hallway to his bedroom.
The both of you collapsed onto his bed with a grunt.
"I think this was my mom's plan all along." He admitted.
"Me too. Maybe we should thank her." You chuckled.
"Maybe we should." He grinned, diving in for another breathtaking kiss.

Hey guys !! I'm currently going through some tough times and would really appreciate your support. I don't usually like talking about my personal life but desperate times and all that jazz.
Two days ago I was made homeless and I've been living with my best friend temporarily. I have no money and am waiting to gain conformation that I succeeded with a job I trialed at.
My mother wad also made homeless and had her phone stolen out of her hands while she was trying to pay my phone bill, so I also have no data, calls, messages etc. Hence slow replies, apologies in advance.
I'd really appreciate anything anyone can donate, and please no pressure if you can't. I just ask that you reblog, and donate if possible. I'm not currently settled enough to write, but I can open commissions probably by the weekend. If you'd rather this option, lmk <3

Mingi pushed his food around on his plate, eyes fixed on the peas that rolled across the saucer and into his mashed potatoes.
"Mingi?" You inquired softly, tapping your index finger on the table to gain his attention.
He blinked a few times, looking up at you with those heart-melting sparkly brown eyes of his.
"Hm?" He hummed.
"What's got you so distracted? You've barely touched your steak. It's your favorite."
"I was just thinking."
"You know you can talk to me about anything, right?"
He hummed, nodding his head.
"Then, what's weighing on your mind?"
"What if I end up as an evil wizard?" He questioned worriedly. "Most of the bad wizards are from Slytherin."
Your expression softened and settled into a gentle smile as you let out a chortle. "Mingi, you don't have anything to worry about."
"That's easy for you to say. You're in one of the nicest houses in Hogwarts."
"Your house doesn't define you, you know. For instance, you. You're so friendly and kind to everyone you meet. Slytherins aren't always mean."
He blinked a few times, his eyes shimmering as he took in every word you said.
"You know, I've come across some awfully mean Hufflepuffs."
His eyes became wide at this.
"Really?"
"Mhm." You nodded. "Some meaner than any Slytherin I've met."
"Ah." His brows raised. "That makes me feel better."
"Good." You gave a nod of finality before finishing your meal.
You waited patiently for Mingi to eat, sipping on the remainder of your drink until he was done.
"Ah." You sighed contently as the both of you left the dining hall. "Nothing like a good meal to end the day."
"Yeah." Mingi agreed.
Your gaze moved to the windows of the school seeing the evening sky outside. Classes were over for the day and this was usually when students would go to their respective dormitories and hang out in the common room or spend time in the study hall, but you wanted to do something with Mingi. You thought back to what he had said just a few minutes ago at dinner about being a Slytherin. Though your words seemed to bring some comfort and relief to him, you felt he needed something else to cheer him up.
"Hey, I know something we could do." You spoke up as an idea popped into your head.
There was one thing that was 100% guaranteed to cheer Mingi up.
"What?"
"We could stop by Hagrid's hut to see what new creatures he's taking care of."
Mingi's eyes lit up, glimmering with excitement as he nodded vigorously. "Let's go!"
With his confirmation, the two of you took off across the quad and exited the area, waking together across the school grounds. Hagrid's hut was just a small, dark lump in the distance as he lived quite a ways away from the castle.
"You remember those things we learned about in our care of magical creatures class? Ah. What are they called?" You murmured. "Oh! Mooncalves. Do you think Hagrid will be caring for any of those?"
"I hope so. The pictures in our textbooks look so cute. I'd love to see one in person." Mingi gushed.
You approached the small hut, giving a knock on the weathered wood of the front door, watching as plumes of smoke escaped the chimney meaning Hagrid was home.
The door swung open moments later revealing the jovial half-giant, but before he could even greet you, his dog, Fang, came running by his feet, jumping up to greet you and Mingi.
"Fang!" You cooed, scratching the massive dog's ears, his droopy face looking too cute.
"Hey kiddos." Hagrid greeted once Fang had calmed down. "What brings you here?"
"It's the end of the day and Mingi and I wanted to see if you had any new creatures you were taking care of." You told him, rocking back and forth on your heels in anticipation.
A small grin pulled at Hagrid's features.
"I just got a new little fella yesterday, actually. Would you like to see him?"
"Yes, please!" You and Mingi both piped up, speaking at the same time.
Hagrid gave a hearty chuckle before stepping aside. "Well, come on in, then."
The two of you entered his cozy hut, both looking around trying to find this so-called "little fella."
"You two are excited, aren't ya?"
You and Mingi nodded vigorously, earning a chuckle from him.
"Alright." He sighed out, rummaging in a corner where a basket sat. Hagrid pulled a cloth off the top of the weaved container and reached inside. "Well, here he is."
When he turned around he was cradling a small creature in his arms, which was curled in on itself slightly.
Both you and Mingi let out gasps in response.
"A niffler." Mingi squeaked.
"That it is." Hagrid nodded. "You don't have any jewelry on, do you?"
"No sir." You shook your head along with Mingi.
"Good. This guy goes crazy for that stuff."
"Yes, we know. He's so adorable though, you can't help but wanna give him shiny stuff." You cooed.
"It's very tempting, but as soon as he sees something shiny he goes mad and won't stop until he has whatever eye-catching object grabbed his attention. And catching one of these is no easy task. Newt Scamander, the author of yer textbook Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, had a niffler along with many other creatures and one of these guys got out. Ended up in a jewelry store stuffing his pouch with gold and silver."
Your eyes widened along with Mingi's.
"Really?"
Hagrid nodded.
"What happened?" Mingi inquired. "Did he catch the niffler?"
"He did, but it was difficult."
Your gaze moved to the creature still tucked in Hagrid's arms. He noticed your eyes lingering on the niffler, prompting him to hold the little guy out to you.
"Would you like to hold him?"
You nodded eagerly, gingerly taking the creature, cradling him in your arms. Mingi leaned over your shoulder to watch, slowly bringing his hand up to run along the niffler's tummy. He stretched out in your arms in response to Mingi's affectionate actions making you chuckle.
"He likes that." You commented.
"You can brush him if you'd like." Hagrid spoke up.
Mingi nodded eagerly as Hagrid handed him a small oval brush. He began running the bristled object along the niffler's tummy until he rolled over in your arms, allowing Mingi to brush along his back, his eyelids slowly drooping.
"He's closing his eyes." You whispered. "I think he's about to fall asleep."
Mingi's endearing giggles reached your ears, the sound making your heart do flips. He's the biggest softie you'd ever met and everything he does makes you melt. His sweet personality was a big contrast from his deep voice and six foot tall stature. On the outside he (sometimes) looks intimidating but he's really just a big softie who loves to give hugs and gets scared easily.
The both of you moved over to sit on the couch in Hagrid's quaint and cozy hut, Mingi continuing to brush the fuzzy niffler that was slowly starting to doze off in your arms. The atmosphere was pleasant as you watched the little creature's eyes slide shut, the sound of the cracking fire filling the air.
"Can I offer you two somethin' to drink? I can put a pot of tea on." Hagrid offered.
You and Mingi shared a glance before nodding.
He got to work placing a kettle of water over the fire to boil while you continued watching the niffler in your arms. Being close with Hagrid had its perks, one being moments like these where you could spend your free time caring for any creatures that he happened to have.
Mingi's eyes glimmered with unadulterated joy, a toothy grin plastered on his face while gingerly stroking the niffler's back with the brush.
Hagrid poured you both a cup of steaming hot tea, placing them on the wooden table by the couch. When the warm beverages were served, Mingi stopped what he was doing and took a sip of the tea while you did your best to reach for your cup without waking the snoozing niffler curled up in your lap.
You thanked the kind half-giant for the beverage before giving it a taste, offering him a thumbs up in response.
You and Mingi stayed long enough to finish your tea and chat with Hagrid about how your other classes were going as well as learning more about nifflers, finding out things about them that your textbooks didn't cover.
Hagrid glanced out the small window of his hut, noting how low the sun was hanging in the sky.
"You two best be getting off. Don't want to get in trouble."
You stood up, reluctantly handing the niffler off to Hagrid.
"Is it okay if we come back to see him again?" Mingi asked, glistening eyes darting down to the creature who had started to stir.
"Of course. You're both welcome back whenever. You know that."
"Yes sir." You nodded with a grin.
The both of you waved goodbye to Hagrid while leaving his small home and started your brief journey back to the school, not realizing how dark it had gotten outside.
"I want to take him with us." You pouted, making grabby hands towards the hut as you walked away from it.
"Me too." Mingi clutched his chest. "I've never seen a real niffler before. I didn't realize they were so cute."
"They're irresistible." You gushed. "I want one as a pet."
Your Slytherin friend chuckled in response. "Do you think you could handle caring for one?"
"Maybe. Though that story Hagrid told us about Newt Scamander makes me a bit skeptical. They must be really drawn to shiny things. I'd have to keep it on a leash or something." You spoke your thoughts aloud. "Maybe I just like being around them for a little while."
"Me too." Mingi agreed. "I don't think I could take care of one. Imagine how difficult it would be to keep one from going after anything shiny it laid eyes on."
You pictured it for a moment, imagining utter chaos.
"Yeah. Being a niffler mom might not be for me." You laughed.
Once back inside the school, you and Mingi went your separate ways, waving goodbye to each other while heading off in the direction of your respective dormitories. Leaving Mingi was always difficult for you because you enjoyed his company and wanted to spend as much time around him as possible.
One thing you hated about being in separate houses was not being able to live in the same dorms. Yes, boys and girls were separated but at the very least, you both could hang out together in the common room and prolong your time together.
Mingi made his way to the Grand Staircase, descending the seemingly endless stairs that led to the dungeon where the Slytherin dormitories were located. His mind was clouded with thoughts of you, as usual. You had been friends for years yet every time he was around you his heart raced like crazy. He was so in love with you it was almost embarrassing. What's even more embarrassing is how he still hadn't confessed yet. With how long the both of you have known each other, one would assume he already confessed, but he was too afraid of rejection, or worse, making things awkward between the both of you and ruining your friendship.
If only there was a way he could ease into confessing, maybe test the waters a bit and see if you might be interested in him the way he was with you.
Mingi's hands were clammy as he held the small velvet box between his palms. He spent so long choosing this piece for you and hoped you would like it. As soon as his eyes landed on the item he knew he had to get it for you, clearly imagining how nice you would look wearing it.
He took a series of deep breaths, letting them out slowly in a futile attempt to calm his nerves as he approached the place where you stood, not noticing his presence.
"Hi." He announced himself by greeting you, hiding the box behind his back.
"Hi." You flashed that heart-melting smile of yours that he loved so much.
"You look pretty." Saying the compliment aloud made Mingi's cheeks flush. "Did you do something different to your hair?"
"I styled it a little, but I hardly did anything. How'd you notice?"
I notice everything. Is what he wanted to say, but he just shrugged.
"So, why'd you want to meet here?"
"I wanted to give you something."
Your face lit up at his statement, clearly not expecting the gesture.
"What is it?" You inquired.
Mingi revealed the velvet box he had concealed behind his back and held it out for you. He noticed the way your eyes became wide at the sight, carefully taking the box from his hands to open it up.
You gasped upon seeing the necklace displayed inside.
He stood nervously as you removed the jewelry, examining the silver chain that had a single pendant hanging at the end; your favorite stone encased in silver.
"Mingi." You gaped. "This is beautiful."
The design of the piece was simple, which you loved, silently vowing to wear it all the time.
"You like it?" He asked quietly.
"I love it. What's the occasion?"
He shrugged. "Just because."
That was a lie. Getting you the necklace was just one way he could attempt to convey just how much you meant to him without actually confessing.
"Would you like me to put it on you?" He asked with pink cheeks.
"Yes please."
You allowed him to take the necklace while you turned around and let him clasp it around your neck. Your hand reached up to gently touch the pendant hanging perfectly between your collarbones, your heart leaping in response.
Just because, huh? You thought, holding back a smile.
No one buys their best friend jewelry just because. You knew there had to be another reason behind it and you hoped your suspicions were correct.
"Thank you."
"Yeah." His eyes were cast upon the ground, unable to meet your gaze. "You're welcome."
Your fingers unconsciously fiddled with the pendant.
"It's very beautiful."
"So, you like it?"
"I love it." You smiled.
Those three words were enough to fill Mingi with a feeling of adoration, his heart beating with joy. Seeing your reaction to the necklace gave him a small glimmer of hope that maybe you did like him the way he liked you.
It was nearly impossible to stay away from the lovable niffler you and Mingi met a few days prior. As soon as you had time to slip away, the both of you took off to Hagrid's hut once again, hoping to see the magical creature that captured your hearts.
"Oh. I should take this off." You paused, reaching up to unclasp the necklace Mingi had given you. "Don't want the little guy to snatch it."
"Smart." Mingi nodded, watching as you slipped it into your pocket.
You hadn't taken the necklace off not once since Mingi had gifted it to you. The piece of jewelry meant the world to you and you had no intentions on losing it or having it taken by a magical creature, so it was best to pocket it for the duration of your visit at Hagrid's.
Mingi gave a few knocks to the large wooden door, his eyes gleaming with anticipation as it creaked open.
"Hey you two. Didn't expect you back so soon."
"We couldn't stay away." You responded.
"Yeah we wanted to see the niffler again, if you don't mind." Mingi added, looking up at the half-giant with hopeful eyes.
"'Course you can." He bellowed cheerfully, stepping aside so the both of you could enter his cozy home.
The niffler was up and skittering about the hut this time instead of being curled up in his basket. Fang, who was lying peacefully by the fireplace, sat upright when the creature skittered past his paws, startling him a bit.
"He's got what I believe muggles call zoomies." Hagrid said with a hearty chuckle.
You squeaked gleefully as the creature scurried over to you and Mingi.
"I think he remembers us." You chuckled, leaning down to pick him up.
Mingi reached over and started to lightly scratch the top of the niffler's head before going down his back, the creature letting out small chitters of approval.
"You wanna hold him?"
Mingi nodded vigorously, gently taking the niffler from your arms and cradling him in his own, gazing fondly at him. His fingers came up to give the little guy some belly scratches which he seemed to really enjoy, for a few moments anyway. He didn't stay still for long before he was squirming in the Slytherin's arms, trying his best to wiggle his way out. Mingi got the message and placed the creature on the ground allowing him to run about to his heart's content.
"He's got a lot of energy today."
"He does." Hagrid chuckled. "Excited little thing, he is."
You and Mingi watched him in amusement and adoration as he skittered about.
"Would you like to feed him?" Hagrid asked, making the both of you look up at him.
"Yes please." Mingi nodded.
Hagrid stood up from his seat and went rummaging through some of his belongings before pulling out a bucket.
"You'll have to do some work, if you don't mind gettin' yer hands dirty."
You and your friend shared a look before you put forth a question.
"What do we have to do?"
"Nifflers are herbivores so this fella only eats grass and weeds. I haven't had the chance to gather any food for him so if you're both willing to do that you can feed him."
"Of course we are." You agreed straight away, Mingi nodding in agreement.
"Great." He handed the bucket over to you, making sure the niffler didn't run out while you and Mingi stepped outside.
"Here." Your friend pointed to a cluster of grass near an old wheelbarrow.
Wrenching the blades from the ground, you tossed them into the bucket you had been given and began to slowly fill it up. The two of you made your way around Hagrid's property yanking handfuls of grass up out of the earth. Eventually, the bucket was nearly full to the top.
"Should we stop?" Mingi questioned. "He's a small creature and this is probably plenty of food."
"You're right."
Hagrid was impressed with the work you two had done, bringing you back over to the couch so you could feed the magical creature.
Mingi held some grass in his hand, the niffler crawling over to him right away to start chowing down. His little hands held onto the blades of grass while he ate, making him look oh-so-adorable.
You decided to join in and pulled a handful of grass from the bucket, holding it out for the niffler who scurried across the small space between you and Mingi on the couch to eat the grass you had presented to him.
Your palm was emptied in no time and you found yourself reaching back into the bucket for more grass.
"Oh. Did I ever tell you two about that one time I raised blast-ended skrewts?"
Mingi turned to share a look with you before you both shook your heads.
"I don't recommend it. They're very ill tempered when they get to two months."
"What are they?" Mingi inquired.
"They're a mix between a manticore and a fire crab. The look like a giant faceless scorpion mixed with a crab."
"Scary." Mingi shivered.
Your brows raised. "That sounds dangerous."
"It was. Bought 'em from an illegal breeder."
"Makes sense." You muttered in amusement.
Hagrid was always getting himself into some sort of trouble and caring for incredibly dangerous creatures that he probably shouldn't have contact with.
"Let me show you a picture." He got up and started skimming through a pile of books before pulling one out of the stack and flipping through the pages. "Ah. Here we are."
"No thanks." Mingi declined, covering his eyes.
You peered at the drawing in the book, your face scrunching in response. Mingi made the mistake of peeking through his fingers and catching a glimpse of the image.
"Ah!" He squeaked. "That's terrifying. Who would want those?"
"Me, of course!" Hagrid gave a hearty belly laugh.
After another fun-filled visit at Hagrid's hut you headed back to the castle to spend the rest of the evening.
"I'll see you at breakfast tomorrow." You waved goodbye to Mingi while parting ways.
Once you were out of sight, Mingi decided to wander the halls with no particular destination in mind. He merely felt the need to take a walk, maybe think about some things that had been weighing on his mind.
During his stroll, he noticed a familiar-looking lump sitting amongst some sculptures and set of armor lining the hallways. He had been down that hall hundreds of times throughout his years attending Hogwarts and whatever was on the floor wasn't supposed to be there. He took a few steps towards the lump until he was able to make out what it was.
The niffler.
"Oh. What are you doing here?" He asked, unsure of how the creature had followed the both of you all the way back to the school. "How did you get h-" His question was cut off when he saw something silver gleaming in the niffler's hand.
"Hey. That's Y/n's necklace!" Mingi gasped, wondering how the little guy managed to snag it without either of you noticing. "Give that to me."
The niffler took off as soon as Mingi attempted to advance towards him.
"No." The Slytherin groaned, taking off down the halls towards him.
Mingi kept his eyes on the magical creature as he skittered down the corridors, rounding corners and leaping onto pedestals housing sculptures that Mingi had to catch and keep from toppling over after the little guy jumped off them.
This is the worst. He though to himself miserably.
Despite how much he was struggling, that necklace was far too important. There's no way Mingi would let the niffler have it, at least not without a fight.
Finally, after what felt like ages, he came to a halt, sitting near one of the large arched windows.
Finally. Mingi thought, his chest heaving up and down while he attempted to catch his breath. It was a miracle he didn't get caught by any professors running down the halls or he would've been in big trouble.
Choosing to take a different approach, Mingi decided to advance towards the creature with the utmost caution, sneaking up behind him while he stared at your necklace in his tiny hands. Just before he could slip it into his pouch, Mingi grabbed a hold of it, thinking he had managed to get the precious item from the creature, until he felt a tug on the opposite end.
You reached up to mindlessly fiddle with the pendant Mingi had given you, freezing when you didn't feel it around your neck.
Before you could fully begin to panic you remembered you had put the necklace in your pocket before going to Hagrid's place. However, when you reached into your pocket, you didn't feel the necklace. You heart dropped to your feet.
"Oh no."
Slipping out of the Hufflepuff dormitory, you made your way down the halls in the direction you had come earlier, hoping to find the silver necklace lying on the stone floors of the hallway. It meant so much to you and the fact that you lost it made your heart shatter. The necklace could have slipped out of your pocket at Hagrid's or in the grass on the walk back to the school. The only possible solution was to retrace your steps.
You went down the corridors, keeping your eyes glued to the floor as you scanned the area. As time passed and your necklace didn't show up, a feeling of hopelessness slowly started taking over. At that point, you started thinking that maybe you should just tell Mingi what happened and be honest. Then, maybe the both of you could look outside on the school grounds tomorrow. Changing directions, you started making your way to the Slytherin dorms, hoping you'd run into Mingi along the way.
Your search came to an abrupt halt when you spotted the man you were looking for playing tug of war with a niffler. You could barely question how the creature had gotten all the way to the school when you spotted a familiar silver chain gleaming in the lantern lights. Your necklace.
"Mingi?"
"Y/n!" He jerked his head towards you, eyes wide like a deer in the headlights. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. He took your necklace. I don't know how."
Giving one final tug, the niffler released the jewelry and Mingi fell on his bottom, letting out a grunt when he hit the floor.
Mingi let out a huff, clutching the piece of jewelry in his hands.
You scrambled to grab the niffler before he could scurry off, holding him closely. His tiny clawed hands reached towards your necklace in Mingi's hand as he squirmed in your hold, trying to reach the jewelry.
The Slytherin pushed himself up off the ground and pocketed your necklace for temporary safe keeping.
"We need to return him to Hagrid before he causes any more trouble." You told Mingi.
He took a glance at a large clock on the wall.
"It's a couple hours until curfew. We've got time."
With that, you and Mingi set off towards Hagrid's hut for the second time that day. It was 8:00 PM and the sky was a deep blue color that was so dark it was almost black. Once outside the quad and away from the torches that provided light, Mingi pulled out his wand.
"Lumos."
The tip of his wand lit up, allowing you two to see where you were going as you hiked across the grass. The niffler had calmed down at bit after the necklace was put away, but still squirmed every so often, clearly wanting to be put down.
"Sorry buddy." You apologized. "I can't set you down until you're back home."
"I'm sorry he got a hold of your necklace."
"You have no need to apologize. It was no one's fault. I'm just trying to figure out how he got it. Maybe it fell out of my pocket or was about to fall out and he spotted it and that's what led him to follow us."
"That seems plausible." Mingi nodded.
You gave a few knocks to Hagrid's door as Mingi extinguished the light on his wand, the door creaking open just a few seconds later.
"Niffler delivery." You joked, forcing a laugh.
"I've been wondering where he wandered off to." Hagrid responded. "Been lookin' everywhere for him."
"He followed us back to the school. I think he might've seen the necklace I had in my pocket because he had it earlier."
"Oh, yes." He responded, taking the creature from you. "One glance at something shiny and these little fellas will go after it."
"He's stronger than he looks." Mingi commented. "I spent nearly five minutes playing tug of war with him over that necklace."
The half-giant chuckled at the image.
"That they are." He nodded. "Well, thank you for bringing him back."
"Of course. We couldn't have him roaming the school all night." You chuckled.
"I feel like you two need a reward or somethin'."
Before either of you could deny, he reached into a wooden bowl on his round dining table, holding out two dragon scales.
"Here ya go. Genuine dragon scales."
Both your's and Mingi's brows raised as you each took a shiny scale.
"Woah." You gaped. "Thank you."
"It's the least I can do to show my appreciation."
"So cool." Mingi murmured in awe.
"You two best be heading back so you don't miss curfew."
Thanking Hagrid again for the incredibly special gift, you parted ways, waving goodbye as you started back towards the castle. Holding your wands out, you and Mingi illuminated the ends of them, using the light to guide you back to the school.
"We've had an eventful evening, haven't we? You more so than me. After all, you're the one who chased the niffler and pried the necklace away from him."
"I wasn't kidding when I said he's stronger than he looks."
"I believe you." You chuckled. "It seemed like he had quite the grip on that necklace."
"You have no idea."
You passed by the study hall, catching sight of a few students hitting the books before curfew. The halls were mostly empty, not many people were roaming around at this hour as most students preferred to hang out in the common room of their dormitories.
"Thank you for getting the necklace back." You spoke up, wondering how long he had been chasing the niffler before he was able to catch him and successfully pry the chain from him.
"Oh. That reminds me." Mingi paused, pulling the precious piece of jewelry out of his pocket. "Here you go."
A soft smile graced your lips at the sight of it and you moved your hair to the side, turning around.
"Could you put it on me?"
Mingi stepped forward and clasped the necklace just as he did when he had first gifted it to you. You thanked him, turning around to gaze up at him while your fingers unconsciously toyed with the pendant.
The light from the flickering torches on the wall danced across Mingi's sharp features and illuminated his cheekbones. For a moment, all you could do was stare, entranced by his hypnotizing features.
"Can I tell you something?" He inquired softly, cutting through the silence hanging in the air.
You hummed, prompting him to continue.
"There's a reason I gave you that necklace."
As much as you wanted to smile because you were right, you held back and stayed silent, waiting for him to go on.
"The truth is, I like you, Y/n." Mingi bravely stepped forward, feeling nervous as ever. "I was too afraid to confess and to be honest, I didn't even know what I would say. So I decided to buy you something nice in hopes that the message would get across without me having to confess."
This time you couldn't hold back your smile.
"I knew there had to be a reason." You grinned. "I just didn't want to get my hopes up about any possibilities."
"Possibilities of what?" Mingi pressed.
"That you like me."
In the blink of an eye, Mingi grabbed your face with both his hands and closed the gap between your faces, pressing his lips against yours.
Fireworks exploded in your stomach upon contact, your eyelids fluttering closed in response. You'd always imagined what it would feel like to kiss Mingi and feel his pretty, plush lips against yours. Now, you can happily say it feels like a dream come true—because it is.
Your palms slid up his chest, slowly finding their way to his lengthy hair, tangling your fingers in the strands. Mingi sighed softly at the feeling, his head tilting for better access while he slotted your mouths closer together.
His cheeks burned and were more than likely sporting a deep pink color, but he didn't care. He was finally kissing you and that's all that mattered to him. He had imagined this so many times and none of the fake scenarios came close to the real thing.
He stepped forward, backing you against the wall while his arms caged you in, his lips moving at a more rapid pace. Your closed eyelids fluttered at the feeling of his plush lips encasing your bottom one, sending you into a foggy daze. It was as if he was letting himself go completely, putting in all of the emotions he had been holding back into the kiss: desperation, passion, longing.
You were vaguely concerned that a teacher would catch you two, the worry being pushed to the back of your mind as soon as it surfaced.
Your fingers pulled away from his hair and relocated to his green and white tie, using it to tug him closer to you. Mingi let out a small noise at your bold action, his heart rate speeding up in response. He was already very close to you, his body pressed flush against yours, but it wasn't enough. His hands, which were previously anchored on the wall on either side of you, had moved to your waist, squeezing it tightly as if to ground himself. Your fingers curled around the collar of his school robes, tightening your grip every time he kneaded your hips. It was all so overwhelming, the way he kissed you with such longing paired with the feeling of his hands sent you into a daze.
Just when you thought you couldn't take it anymore, Mingi parted ways and rested his forehead against yours, his eyes still closed as he tried to process what had just happened. Both of you huffed and panted, trying to catch your breaths that had been taken by the passionate make-out session.
Your hands came up to cup Mingi's cheeks, holding his face between your palms, soaking up the moment. When he finally pulled back and opened his eyes he felt like he had just been punched in the gut. You stared up at him with glossy half-lidded eyes and puffy lips; your appearance reflecting just how the kiss had affected you.
"You're so pretty." He blurted, too caught up in the moment to consider the words coming from his mouth.
You gave him a drunken smile, letting out a giggle or two, your thumb running across his swollen lips which had became puffier due to the kiss.
"So are you."
He held back a grin, turning his gaze to the stone floor. Though his mind was still reeling from the events that occurred just moments ago, he was still able to ask one question that was begging to be asked.
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes, of course I will." You grinned from ear to ear, pulling him into a hug.
Mingi felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders as he rested his head on top of yours, his arms giving you a light squeeze to make sure this wasn't all a dream.
"I don't want to leave." You admitted, your voice muffled from being buried in his chest.
"Me either." You could hear the pout in his voice. "We don't want to miss curfew though."
The both of you reluctantly parted ways, saying your goodbyes.
"See you tomorrow at breakfast." You told Mingi.
He nodded with a small smile. "See you tomorrow... girlfriend."

Zior Park posted a clip of a new song on his Instagram story today and it was sped up. I screen recorded it, uploaded it into Snapchat, and applied the slow voice filter so the speed of the song would be normal (big brain moves) and uhhh IT’S A BANGER (no surprise there tbh. All of his songs are immaculate)

Hi! I've been reading things from your blog for a couple months now, and I've always wanted to request a certain scenario that tickles my brain just right. But, I don't know if you're comfortable with it or not. I just went through your rules and I'm not for sure, but if you want to decline this request then that's okay! I understand :)
I've been wondering how BTS would react of they spontaneously just decided to adopt a kid, around 14 years old but looks much older. Like, she looks 17. She has an attitude that's a little too firey and she curses worse than a sailor. She had a rough past and she can act mature and nice when she wants to, but she usually chooses not to. She's more reserved and maybe some of her violent wants are a little questionable, but she never acts on them? (She low-key needs therapy but refuses to go cause she's stubborn)
Sorry if this is super personalized and specific but I had some things happen when I was 14 and that's how I acted afterwards, and I just want to know how your amazing mind would put this together!
Again, you don't have to do this so please don't hesitate to tell me if you're uncomfortable with it! I love your work and your sexy brain for making these! ❤️
Hello! 🫶🏻 I’m not sure if you saw in the “about me/rules/about the blog” post, but I mentioned that this account was just for funsies and that I wouldn’t be taking requests. If you happened to overlook it, please let me know so I can try and make it more noticeable for anyone who comes along in the future! <3 I’ve actually had a post drafted for a month that I’ve been meaning to post where I reiterate that I don’t take requests and explain why, but I keep forgetting to do it.
Even if I was accepting requests, I don’t really feel comfortable writing something like what you’ve described. I don’t write things about pregnancy, adoption, having kids, trauma, mental disorders, swearing etc. (I don’t swear, so my works reflect that)
I know you said it was okay if I said no (and you were so sweet too aaaa) but I’m sorry 😭 I also just kinda wanted to explain why I’m saying no. Thank you for taking the time to leave this ask though, and thank you for reading my stuff and enjoy it!! 🖤💜 I wanna share more of my BTS stuff here, as I’ve got 3 books worth of imagines over on Wattpad that I hope to go through and share here in the future
