Persephone Update!
Tumblr media
I wanted to show Persephone's process so far after the release of Epic's Underworld Saga. For those who voted "Persephone is Taller than Demeter," we're giving Persephone the Morticia Addams treatment. Trying to figure out her outfit. If I don't get her out tomorrow, have a sneak peek!

Choose Your Mythical Monster Help!
I'm thinking of a big scene in my story in a steampunk/bronzepunk world where the main character would have to fight a monster in the Colosseum that the Roman Empire got their hands on. If anyone has any ideas to consider for ideas, I'm all ears! Please let it be a monster that wasn't killed in Mythology already. I'll do a poll for the top choice.

Big Zeus Update! I’ve been making improvements on Jupiter Zeus’s design. It’s taking its time, but it’s worth it!

Odysseus, Telemachus, and their descendent, Ulysses, in Legendary Fugitives be like...
Odysseus: Then I'll become the Monster
I will deal the blow
And I'll become the Monster
Like none they've ever known
Telemachus: Give me sirens and a cyclops
Give me giants and a hydra
I know life and fate are scary
But I wanna be legendary
Ulysses: Soon may the Wellerman come
To bring us sugar and tea and rum
One day, when the tonguing is done
We'll take our leave and go

Athena Zodiac Poll
Greek Mythology fans, I need some help! Since the Panathenaia Festival that celebrates Athena takes place between late July and early August, what would Athena's Zodiac be?

What’s crazier is art like this of mythology characters in a different time, Medieval for example, helped inspire my story where the world’s fashion is taking a Ramshackle approach with a mixture of fashion from different time periods.

art of Ovid’s Heroides
Medieval art is so funny man imagine if modern artists drew Ariadne with a Pinterest dress or some shit

Things to Do When You're Given a Golden Apple and Told to Choose Between Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite:
-Make all three swear a solemn vow not to seek revenge of any kind, then answer honestly (or pick the one who offers the most appealing bribe, depending on how conniving you are).
-Cut the apple into three equal pieces, declaring that you cannot decide between three divinely beautiful women.
-Give the apple back to the Hesperides, because Eris probably stole it from them in the first place.
-Declare your partner the most beautiful. Maybe your loyalty will inspire Hera to protect you both.
-Name Artemis and run like hell for the woods.
-Name Hestia, because her humility and hospitable nature give her the greatest inner beauty. You will not receive any great boons, but your marshmallows will always come out perfect.
-Name Hecate because she has three faces and is thus three times more beautiful than any other goddess.
-Name Freya and hope that the goddesses get angry at the Norse pantheon and not you.
-Name Mesperyian and flee while the gods are trying to figure out who the hell you're talking about.
-Play the long game: bury the apple in your backyard and wait several decades. Cut the tree down and build a wardrobe from the wood. Flee to Narnia.
-Declare yourself the most beautiful and hope that the goddesses' immediate attempts to kill you cancel each other out.
-Make some other schmuck do it. Hey, it worked for Zeus, it'll work for you too.
-Pay no attention to what anyone is saying and absentmindedly eat the apple.

Funny idea for Legendary Fugitives. Any of the Roman Empire Soldiers will be based on Roman Empire Soldiers from old cartoons. They could be from an animated short or episode, Christian tv shows for kids (due to the fact the Roman Empire was featured in the New Testament), educational cartoons and more. If you got any suggestions from something you seen as a kid or something you think is funny as long it doesn’t cross any lines that offends anyone, please share! We’re cursing Jupiter Zeus with the most stormtrooper army from Star Wars who are terrible at hitting their targets!

I think I figured out how a younger version of Prometheus would’ve looked like pre-Prometheus Bound and pre-Legendary Fugitives. In Legendary Fugitives, Prometheus will play a huge role in what I would consider a first season of the story. Due to his powers, Prometheus knows something awful is coming that a lot of people and gods will die. Whatever is going to happen, Prometheus is going to make sure he paves the way where his family, friends, and love ones will survive this mess no matter the cost.

Today, I’m giving you all a WIP sketch dump of Dea Roma, or Roma, the youngest daughter of Jupiter Zeus and Juno Hera. To describe Roma’s role in Legendary Fugitives, her role is similar to Crosshair in The Bad Batch. Roma is very upset that a certain event to celebrate her becoming a Parthenos was ruined and was overshadowed by Athena’s and Mars’s fight and accidental death of the Caesar. Thus, she’s chasing her disowned siblings across the Empire.

And then the fact that Poseidon throws that back on Odysseus’s face when the god attacked his men.
Odysseus saying “I am your darkest hour” to a cyclops he’d just Blinded is crazy, actually
