Sayembara Benang Raja, a zine I hosted has finally been completed after months of work!
Our zine can be download in Gumroad and itch.io
This zine is all made by queer individuals from Indonesia. Despite our lgbt-friendly history in here, queer content and culture is now very looked down upon in Indonesia, so I made this zine as a way to raise Queer Indonesian's voices and get everyone's works out there. Please consider checking it out! Everyone worked so hard for this <3
Other than queer content, we also have a wide array of Indonesian culture in this zine, too!

there should be a sub genre of books that were originally written to comment on the evils of capitalism and how greed and wealth corrupts society as a whole and how those popular books were subsequently made into hollywood movies and were marketed in a way in order to mass produce as much merchandise as possible so the companies behind the movies can make as much money as possible and thus completely erasing the original meaning of that story while also unintentionally proving the point of the original novels themes

chuuya’s role in bsd is so funny to me. you’re watching this show and every 10 episodes or so this pretty guy drops in, and he’s the coolest most OP guy in the show so he can really only hang around for a few minutes before he makes any conflict obsolete. and he’s supposed to be part of the villains but he never really does anything that evil and is mostly helpful? he just appears and does something badass and fucks off again. and this is all already really weird but also every time he shows up it’s clear that he and one of the other main characters have like, definitely fucked, which adds a whole other layer of absurdism. and the best part is he accomplishes this in maybe 11 total minutes of screen time.

sooo i recently finished the light novels and my hyperfixation was somehow further reawakened so i immediately started to adapt a kanoshin fic into a comic (who would've known if i wanted to have more kanoshin content all i had to do was read volume VII into the darkness?)
