Must use kryptonite as the main focal point (shipping is allowed)
Submissions can be SFW or NSFW but they MUST be properly tagged AND follow the rules and terms of service of the platform you are posting on (Tumblr/AO3 👈see links)*

*please be aware that if something is not properly marked mature that should be, I will reach out to you to have that fixed before I will reblog it. If is not corrected, I will not be able to reblog it here (marking something as mature hides the content for those who do not wish to see it). Also, if it violates the community guidelines I will not be able to reblog it here at all (I don't want to be banned, hopefully you understand).*
How this event will go:
The event will comprise of five days, each day is dedicated to a pair of Kryptonite types, to complete the challenge for that day you will submit a work matching one of those kryptonite types.
For added difficulty, use a bingo card to select a prompt to fulfill. If you use the bingo card, by the end of the week you should have at least five squares marked off and hopefully a bingo!!!
NOTE: Submitting a work that matches the daily typing is all you have to do to complete the challenge for that day. You do NOT have to participate in the prompt bingo challenge.
*technically, you could also complete the event using just the bingo card if you really wanted*

Kryptonite Week 2024: June 24th - 28th

Kryptonite Event Days
Day One: Green & Black
Green: saps Kryptonians of their strength and abilities provided by a yellow sun
Black: creates a dark personality (may be a physical split)
Day Two: Red & Blue
Red: unexpected consequences and what happens varies from exposure to exposure
Blue: acts like Green Kryptonite to Bizarros and is an antidote to the effects of Red Kryptonite
Day Three: Pink & Silver
Pink: gender/orientation swap
Silver: loss of inhibition, altered perceptions, extreme hunger cravings, and some psychotropic hallucinations
Day Four: Platinum & Gold
Platinum: gives Kryptonian powers to humans permanently
Gold: destroy a Kryptonian's ability to process yellow sunlight, thus permanently removing their superpowers
Day Five: Free Day
Any other Kryptonite

Two quick questions for you: how much leeway is there in how we interpret the prompts (for example, could we interpret Pink K as an aphrodisiac instead of a gender/sex swap)? And, are we allowed to write crossovers (I had a random idea for Gold K, but it requires a crossover)?
We're not the creativity police...or are we? 🚔 no, we're not lol
We want everyone to have fun! You can get as creative as you want, you can make interpretations, and you can include things that are not specifically stated as prompts (just make sure your creation has something to do with the Kryptonite of the day 😅)

The way the individual phrased it on the prompt submission survey was, "Kryptonian Exposure Assistance (helping another Kryptonian deal with post-Kryptonite after effects)". It was just a little lengthy so I only kept the top part on the bingo card and didn't think to elaborate, oops. 😅
