Summary: Fresh out of high school you go on a trip to Egypt with your friend just to witness an ancient corpse be brought back to life.

An eery feeling crept itself over Taehyung as he sat excitedly conversing with his friends. He knew something was off, something had happened to you, he always knew when you were in trouble, he could just sense it because in a way his soul was connected to yours. He jumped up, made an excuse to the people he was once confidently speaking to and immediately headed straight for Jimin, in hopes that he could get any information or help on the matter regarding you . As Taehyung burst through the door to Jimin’s abode, he met eyes with his younger brother which of whom he still held a grudge towards for stealing away his lover. Irritation rained down on him as he narrowed his eyes at the boy then turned to face the person he had came to see in the first place and spoke. “Something happened. Do you know where (y/n) is, hyung?”
“We were both trying to figure that out?” Jimin stepped forward.

warmth is what you felt, your body enveloped in something soft and smooth. You turned over to your side and muzzled your face into the gentle material, letting a soft sigh slip past your parted lips. You were laying in your position peacefully asleep, when you felt a foreign object rub across your face,instantly your eyes snapped open in alarm, memories of what had happened in the woods hit you and you jumped up from your previous position, sitting straight up in the bed that you were once resting serenely resting upon. The sunlight that seeped in through the curtains illuminated the room that you resided in, showing you how spacious the area really was. Turning to face the one responsible for waking you from your slumber had a loud gasp rumble from the back of your throat.
“Hello little sister, how have you been?” the familiar female threw a bright smile your way

Your head was extremely heavy, filled to the brim with worry and doubt. Your vision blurred, leaving you with no clue of as to what you were looking at in this moment. The only thing being known to you was your disposition. Your head was propped up on your mother’s lap, warm tears streamed down your face as you vented out your frustrations, Wetting your creator’s camel colored skirt during the process. Her comforting hands ran through your hair soothingly, trying her best to calm you from your wails of sadness.
“But mother, he cant go, Taehyung wont survive.” you choked out in between sobs. your red puffy eyes looked up to her pleadingly “ (y/n), Taehyung’s strong, i’m sure he’ll be fine.”

Sitting at the small rounded table, you cocked your head to the side in wonder, examining the all too familiar female sitting across from you in the quiet room. It had been years since you had seen her, the last instance being that of her death, the retention of events still fresh in your mind.
The ice around sunmi had began to crack as she was nowhere near ground. The immensely cold winter air wafted around her figure surrounding the whole area. It was only when you heard a high pitched screech that you turned to see that your older sister went pummeling down and below ground level into the freezing cold water, prior to that, you were playing in the snow, havng no thoughts or feelings of any unfortunate events occuring on this day. You were dead wrong. Everyone present during this incident jumped into a frenzy of panicked screams, teaming up together, trying to recover the young lady that had fell through the ice, but the torrent was too strong, successfully pulling Sunmi away in front of your eyes.
Her body was not found
And your family instantly went into mourning.
“Are you going to eat or are you going to just stare at me as if you’ve seen a ghost?”
You sucked in a breathe of air and picked up your fork, tilting your head once more with your mouth open just for it to end up closed a second later, not knowing what to say or ask. It was hard for you to process the situation at hand. So many peculiar instances popped up in to your life in such a short period of time and you surprised yourself at how well you were taking to it.
“Where have you been all this time? We thought that you were dead.” You finally found the words that you were searching for. Sunmi stared into your eyes, not saying anything for a while before explaining.
“After I fell into the Ice, I blacked out but when I opened my eyes, I was in a warm cottage laying close to a nice fireplace. The women who had saved me took me in as one of her own, She taught me lots of interesting things and would not not permit me to leave. So when I finally decided that it was time for me to come home and tried my hand at finding my way back. I unsparingly got swept into a whole different world.”
“And what kind of world is that? Why did you kidnap me?” You started to get angry remembering how you were ruthlessly taken that day in the woods. Sunmi smiled and ran her fingers through her hair nervously “ You see I asked a few people to find you and to bring you to me” You shot a glare at her opening your mouth which in turn caused her to snap her hands up, waving them frantically in front of her face “ I didn’t know that they were gonna bring you to me in that sort of fashion, I truly am sorry.” sunmi hurriedly spit out.
“Well I want to go back.” you huffed, crossing your arms over your chest

You sat in the back seat of a black van with tinted windows next to your long lost older sister. “ Here’s my number, contact me when your ready to talk.” she threw you a sympathetic look as she handed you your phone back. The whole ride through you gave the older female the cold shoulder and once you reached your destination Sunmi threw her arms around you in a tight hug before letting you exit the vehicle.
You walked up to Jimin’s house, surprised to see that the door was unlocked and made your way to the living room where you found three stressed figures hunched up together. Each one of their heads snapped up simultaneously, their looking directly at you. The way that jimin, jungkook and Taehyung all launched themselves at you almost triggered an immediate reaction for you to run.
“(Y/n) Where have you been?”
“What happened to you?”
“Are you okay?”
All of theses questions were being fired at you at once and in your haste of trying to gather your thoughts, you got jumped into a big group hug. Three seconds later, you lost your balance and all four of you were on the ground. Each one of you looked at each other for a moment in silence, processing what had happened before there was an eruption of loud laughs and giggles exiting your throats.

I apologize for the long hiatus, I have been a little busy with school and life, I’ve also been trying to figure out how I want to structure the unfinished fics on this blog, which they will be updated some time soon. But anyways I hope you guys enjoy this chapter it’s kind of been in my drafts collecting dust until now : )
