Kharkiv is under massive shelling every single day. I have a friend who lives there; she's constantly experiencing blackouts caused by these bombings, and she can't study or draw properly. Not to mention, she can be injured or worse.

Please advocate sending military help, especially air defense, to Ukraine. Without it, the chances of her, my other friends, me, my family, and thousands of other Ukrainians getting killed by a freaking russian missile or drone are growing every day.

Just watched The Peasants and... WOW

An absolute must-see, but if you haven't - skip the rest, cause I'm about to drop some spoilers:

1. So sad for Jagda. Definitely a crime of just being beautiful (but unfortunately to her - not very cunning). And fuck dem peasants, they were the real villains.

2. Might be an unpopular opinion, but really sad for the old man (forgot his name, Jagda's husband). He was just as duped as her into that marriage. And he was kind to her, despite being repeatedly cheated on. He was a good neighbour and fought for community's rights. The whole scene of him being called to death was so heartbreaking yet beautiful.

3. However, not a single non-toxic man. Not one. And fuck dem bitches who blamed the girl for the fuckery of their men.

4. Hanka is one exception. She had a legitimate reason to be salty and she did apologize to Jagda. I feel like she got a fair ending (except for being stuck in a marriage with that absolute worm).

5. Was really interesting to see Polish traditions, from weddings to funerals, throughout seasons and celebrations that followed them. Beautiful. Stunning. Immaculate. 10/10

Can we agree on two main things for acting?

1. Acting is pretending to be someone you're not. So, people can be wizards, actors can be doctors, gay people can play straight characters (like Matt Bomer, Rock Hudson, and Neil Patrick Harris) and straight people can play gay characters (like Cate Blanchett and Heath Ledger). We absolutely should demand more diverse representation and job opportunities for minorities, but do NOT typecast people to always play themselves. Because that leads to..

2. Fucking stop forcing people to disclose their sexuality in the workplace! You won't expect that in any other job but for acting it's ok? Unless you know 100% what the person's personal life is like (and not from tabloids), keep your mouths shut and your fingers off typing. Otherwise you'll end up harrassing people and forcing them to come out when they are not ready, like Heartstopper star Kit Connor.

Basically, if someone does a good job at being an actor - great. If someone is shit - sure, critique away. But stop blending real life with on-screen portrayals, that's literally against the whole point of acting. You're misplacing your anger over lack of representation and lash out at the wrong people. Demand diversity, demand job opportunities for disabled/gay/ethnic minority people but STOP assuming someone elses personal life. STOP harrassing people over being good at their jobs. And for the love of all, stop forcing people to disclose their personal life, beliefs, sexual orientation, etc. It's absolutely none of your business.
