Woken up to a lot of insane comments regarding Jensen's new look. Turns out a lot, and I mean a lot of people are under the impression that his beard and hair are some kind of fashion choice and that he should get rid because - 'he looks gross', 'looks dirty', 'doesn't suit him' and lots of 'Oh honey no'. These people are having a hard time understanding what acting is. Absolutely appreciate that not everyone digs beards but stop being so fucking nasty, okay?
Secondly, I have seen many comments regarding Soldier Boy and little wishes that he's going to be 'nice' and 'not nasty'. They want Jensen to be Captain America, they want Steve Rogers pining over his barber shop quarter. I'm guessing it's the hellers doing this who get offended even if you look at 'em funny.
If you're 'disgusted' by a man in a beard then I suggest giving The Boys a miss. It's not for the faint of heart.
Jensen is first and foremost, as far as we the fans are concerned, an actor. And with his accepting the role of Soldier Boy shows that he's a bold one; not vain, ballsy and open-minded. While I appreciate that not everything on TV or in movies is for everyone but please stay in your fucking lane and stop being an asshole regarding Jensen's looks and job choices. He doesn't need me or anyone to defend him, he's said it himself but my god, grow the fuck up.
