Childe doesn't know why his crush has decided to appear in front of him now of all times, but he supposes it can't hurt to indulge himself in his attention just this once.

A short piece that was made from a one off bit I wrote in my notes. It's hurt/comfort but in a very sweet way I feel. I hope you all enjoy :)

lolol this was actually meant to be posted for Xingqiu’s birthday, but I decided I wanted a comic along with the picture and took extra long getting around to finishing it. hope you can enjoy the fluff though

Ah yes!! It is not a keysmash, but rather just that kxaxh just stands for “kazuha & ayato & heizou” and here’s why Sure, one could go ahead and call it a poly ship or whatever but that’s not why I’m here okay, I am here because I find their relationship triangle fascinating. Kazuha, has friendly relations with both Ayato and Heizou, the former due to their families and the latter because they were buddies, and then Ayato who is fairly familiar with them both with Ayato as Heizou’s superior/employer when all is said and done.

Then there’s the shift in their dynamics with the fall of the Kaedehara family and the vision hunt decree that has them having to act outwardly antagonistic or disapproving towards Kazuha even if they personally think otherwise, and of course, how Ayato and Heizou are both smart enough to know that the other knows that they’re definitely on the same side but like, not in the way they are represented being on the same side publicly. This, I feel, would in turn have Ayato trusting Heizou with things he wouldn’t with the other officers and Heizou in turn giving him his own exclusive scoops of things, a very symbiotic relationship really.

Plus, you have post the vision hunt decree where Kazuha is no longer being hunted and they can all be friends again if they so wished, but they all have their roles to play and I just.. I feel like there’s a lot going even individually between the characters, and I won’t go too much into each facet of this triangle but like, I’m sure you’re getting the picture already, and even if all i end up is doing doodles of them and not actually writing it all out, this is something I definitely want to explore at some point.
