update i did it!!! i got my code to work AND i finished my math class early with a final grade of 91!!

beautiful day for a window seat at the library!!
i spent most of the day stuck on one problem, trying (and failing) to get my code to work :/ i hate getting stuck. i get stressed out bc it feels like im not accomplishing anything.
it’s hard, but i need to keep in mind that when im stuck, im still learning. not only is learning the skill important, i need to learn practical ways to apply that skill in order to solve problems. the feeling of pride and accomplishment once i do figure it out will be so worth it.
in other news, i might qualify for early completion of my algebra course! as long as i get a 93 on my next test and im satisfied with my grade (hovering around an 88) i could be done! wish me luck!

y’all i fucking did it!!!! i managed to finish my algebra class 2 weeks early with a fucking A- !!!
this is such a huge accomplishment for me, as a person who had to repeat multiple math classes in high school only to barely pass them in the end.
hell, this algebra class was literally a repeat!! i dropped out of it with 3 weeks left back in 2020 bc i was failing and couldn’t catch up. i then went and literally change my entire major bc that experience made me feel like i was too stupid for what i was trying to do.
but here i am!!! back in stem!!!!! what a fucking redemption!!! holy shit!! my first time EVER receiving an A in any math class in my ENTIRE LIFE!!! my dad is proud of me!!! im cryinf im sorry this has been nonsense im just. SO. EXCITED

My early 20's was really me like "I WISH I had the time to eat healthy, sleep, and work out but I just have too many other important things in my life right now" meanwhile I was emotionally absent, disassociating from stress and lack of sleep and nutrition, and totally abandoning myself for an idealized version of me I thought I could become simply by force and willpower
Insane to reflect on like....if you don't take care of yourself you actually CANT show up for anything you love or want
Why doesn't anyone teach us that
