Sanders sides theory:Virgil is the orange side.
Ok hear me out it all starts from the beginning where Virgil is introduced, he’s chill and has a cocky attitude towards Thomas.
After his first episode though, his personality changes and he becomes jumpy,hostile and shy in some situations.
Skip to a few episodes and Virgil is ducking out and the sides help him out and get him to come back where we get a smile from Virgil and he reveals his name,all is good.
Then Janus shows up and Virgil is hostile and angry at him all the time,without the light sides or Thomas really questioning it.
Then Remus comes around and Virgil reveals he was one of the dark sides before sinking out,that’s what we see on the surface.
But look at it in this light:Virgil is a spy for the dark sides, he isn’t afraid or resents them, in fact they are his basically family.
Think about it, Virgil changed his mood really quickly in the show and at first I thought it was because his ego was knocked down by Thomas defeating him.
But what if it was Janus telling him that he needed to show he wasn’t a threat to be accepted?and that’s why there was the mood swing and ducking out?
It could make sense how quickly he became buddy buddy with the light sides.
I know with the most recent episode and Virgil pushing Thomas could disprove this but imagine if this was his moment he realized he let himself care for Thomas and the sides before he even realized it.
I do believe that Virgil’s hostility to the dark sides is just a act but I think when Virgil consults them with the idea of not being a spy they reveal him as the orange side to the others making go right back to them without a real choice.
Just a wonky theory :3

I just realized that McDonald’s genders toys.
Like, in happy meals you have a”girl”toy and a”boy”toy the girls getting a Barbie that all you can do is brush it’s hair while the boys get cool action figures that shoot things!
My mom would always get a boy and a girl toy for me and my brother and every time my brother would get bored of the toy and then I’d start to play with it, hating the girl toy I got every time.
Why is it gendered?why can’t you say”I’ll take a happy meal with the(insert toy)”

And to think I just thought he had a scratch on his hand-
Can we talk about this scene?
So General Amaya’s group finds a guard station abandoned, and one lone guard who failed to signal them.
The guard apologizes and makes an excuse,
Causing the others to turn away and drop their guard.
But the soldier signs “danger” covertly in front of his body,
Tipping off Amaya,
Who then proceeds to save the soldier’s life and get him out of the line of fire.
This tells us 2 things:
1) General Amaya is a super-perceptive, stone-cold badass,
2) This soldier is at least passingly familiar with Sign Language, and used it to give a warning that tipped off the fighting party to the ambush without getting himself killed. He almost certainly knows ASL because his commanding officer is deaf and uses it to communicate with her army. Having a disabled general just saved this man’s life.
I just love that The Dragon Prince gave us a fantastic example of how accessibility (i.e. incorporating ASL into an army to accommodate deaf soldiers) can improve the overall quality of an organization, in a way that also created a tense and well-paced action scene. This show, man.
