Haikyuu Classpect Analysis
hellooo haikyuu and homestuck tumblr im gonna be classpecting the haikyuu cast. nobody asked for this but here you go anyways 😌😋
Hinata: he is definitely a breath player! I feel as if he'd be a good maid of breath, because when we first meet him he isnt independent, he has to rely on his middle school teammates and then later kageyama to be able to achieve greatness but we get to see his journey through the series to becoming his own person and being able to be his own driving force of volleyball.
Kageyama: I think kageyama might be a thief of doom. thieves are egocentric and very confident in their abilites but a thiefs journey is to share with others and thats pretty much the struggle we see kageyama have during the series. doom is the aspect of rules and limitations and control. kageyama at the beginning is very controlling and even tends to shut people out if they dont abide by his rules of the court, but he was forced to see thats not how you play team sports and eventually learns to let others in and loosen his reigns so to speak.
Tsukishima: I feel he is a rogue of blood. blood is about relationships and commitment and all that jazz. and rogues start out with an absence of their aspect. Tsukishima had a very pessimistic view on volleyball and saw no point to put any effort in or to form team bonds because "it was only a club". We see him overcome the trust issues his brother instilled in him and learn to truly appreciate volleyball.
Oikawa: this one is a bit hard. Oikawa is a very well written character given the amount of time we really have to learn about him. He definitely reads as a prince. princes stop at nothing to reach their goals, theyre proud, stubborn people. what aspect oikawa is the prince of is hard to say. He reads as more of a void player i think? he struggles with his insecurities of not being naturally gifted but works harder than anyone to be in the spotlight. He destroys the void surrounding himself to be the best and to be seen.
Kenma: Heir of Mind. heirs inherit their aspects so in a literal sense kenma would inherit "mind" logic and reason. He likes to blend into the background, is highly perceptive and spends a lot of time within his own thoughts. this is also going off of his mbti type because kenma is a very stereotypical INTP.
Bokuto: Knight of heart. there is not a doubt in my mind he is a heart player. He is innately intune with his passion and love for volleyball and knows how to use it to his advantage but we also see his moments of doubt and insecurity which is typical of a knight player.
Tendou: he is 100% a rage player. I'm leaning towards a thief of rage. Rage is the aspect of negative emotions like fear, rage, insecurity, despair, jealously etc. He is able to invoke negative emotions into people and consistently tries to provoke the opposing teams through his antics. but he himself struggles with his own negative emotions of fear and anger.
that's all I've got so far. these are just the characters I found easiest to classpect. thanks for reading!
