I just came to grab some food and realized I'm near the exact place I visited 10 years ago as a college student and would later work. What was unknown then is so much clearer now. #SundaySocial Had a fun time supporting my sis @kimberlysharkey at her Be Intentional "We Have A Dream "Vision Board Experience. I admit, I was not a fan of vision boards for awhile, but with this one, I am intentionally centering this year and beyond on the scripture 2 Timothy 2:15 which says, "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." I want God's truth and nothing else or nothing less and I want that for those close to me and those I come in contact with. Some of the words on my board include: God's Word is "solid as a rock", "a guiding light", and "we should be covered wherever life takes us." (at Living Color)

And My glory I will not give to another.” But in spite of these clear declarations, we’re all prone to take at least some of God’s glory for ourselves.⠀ ::⠀ God is for His own glory, and as believers and followers of Christ everything we do should be FOR His glory--NOT for the platforms, the stages, the book deals, the followers, or the connections. The same way we could not work for our salvation or earn it, we cannot lose it.⠀ ::⠀ Salvation was never your doing, but God's doing. God promises us that HE who began the good work in you will finish it until the day of completion (Phil. 1:6). Jesus also reminds us that he will not lose ANYONE who belongs to him.⠀ "And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even ONE of all those HE has GIVEN me, but that I should raise them up at the last day" - (John 6:39). ⠀ ::⠀ Whatever that has been given to Christ cannot be lost.
