ok so I really like the idea of Hobie with a super energetic parter, or just someone who has more energy than him. I already think Hobie really likes physical affection, but I think he finds it really endearing when his partner fidgets with him when they're talking or something. Like picking up his hand and messing with his fingers or nails, lightly scratching the inside of his palm. Or like swivels his bracelets or rings.
Like I think if you were really excited about something, you're bouncing on your heels and the balls of your feet, your hands gripping his vest as you slightly push and pull on him (even if you used more force, I doubt he would budge) he'd let you get away with it.
And if you do something he doesn't like, he'd do simple things like pull or swat your hand away in a way that wouldn't make you feel bad.
But I feel like we don't talk about excited Hobie enough.
Like I can imagine he's going on about something he's really passionate about and his hands are moving the entire time, talking so fast that his words are verging on incoherent.
He comes home after a long day, and he quickly puts down the stuff he and plops down on the couch beside you, and before you can even greet him and ask him how his day was, he's already going on and spewing about something he has planned and projects in the works.
I also think he's the type of guy that when he doesn't see his partner for a long time, he'd do one of those like pick up hugs?? Like it doesn't matter your size, if you're comfortable with it, your feet are coming off the ground.
He also probably pokes you a lot if he doesn't think you're listening, he'd rather know your attention isn't on him than be background noise. Like he does it in like a playful, annoying way. He's not trying to be mean by it.

There is no way Hobie is a sound sleeper imo. Like when he's in bed he is taking up the ENTIRE BED. It doesn't matter how gangly he is, there is no room for anyone else if he's sleeping on his back.
If you are a light sleeper, there is no way the both of you can sleep in the same room at the same time. He tosses and turns, and groans and snores SO MUCH.
If luckily you're not a light sleeper, and the two of you are sharing a bed, it's just a tangle of limbs and a messed up blanket. Most times Hobie did the major of it in his sleep.
Though I do think that Hobie tends to wake up earlier than most. It's not 6am early but for someone who is as tired and sore he is from being Spider-Man, he wakes up pretty early without an alarm.
also he sleeps in socks.

I don't think Hobie talks a lot, like I think it's a lot of quick short smart ass responses. I just don't think he'd like going on about something for a long time (except maybe his intro).
Like I think instead of him talking a lot in general, he'd keep the responses short in group conversation, but once the two of you are alone expect long winded rants and tangents about the political rallies that he's been putting on or random things that just fall out of his mouth.
I think he does a lot of nonverbal communication. A lot of nodding or motioning to stuff.
At first you'd think he's probably doing it to be funny or an ass, because everytime you lost something at his house and ask him if he knows where it is, he always just points in a vague direction.
Either that or he'll just flat out get up and grab it for you, because he has this uncanny ability that if you set something down in his house, he knows where it is.
Sometimes he can get away with not talking for a whole conversation, and sometimes it's a game with him to see how long he can get somebody to go on without any of his actual input, but the other half he prefers it that way.
At the end of the day, he's more of a listener than a talker, and he'd much rather listen to the things going on around him than share what's going on in his.
